We’ve been married 49 years and I have BOTH sets (service for 12) and all the matching Pyrex pieces! It’s still my favorite thing to thrift and add to! Also many of the Corning Ware cornflower blue casserole dishes and bakeware! Love it all 😊
Bought 2 sets of butterfly in the 70s..Put them away for many years and believe it or not took out about 4 month ago and fell in love all over again. Yes using them again.
We had the same crockery, same pattern, for our everyday dishes. Plus, my mom had a lot of Corning wear baking things, for stews, macaroni and cheese, etc.,. Came with both glass and plastic lids( plastic lids were used for storage once the food cooled. Always interesting and brings back fond memories of things in my past. Amazing it’s now considered vintage. Lol!
Love the butterfly gold Corelli dinner ware I collect them for my self. I’m from the 70s love that stuff. The four little kittens book so cute the hot plate with the bird so nice you find really nice things 👍love your channel ❤
I have the corn blue set from when I got married. They are the best dishes 43 years and still going strong. Love Corning dishware. Microwave or oven they work great. I buy them, no matter what pattern when I see them at a decent price. I use them when I give food to take after a dinner, if they don't come back no problem. The ones that stay with me are the corn blue, those don't go anywhere.
I had the Corelle pattern Forever Yours with the hearts in the 90's. Wish I had them now. They were light weight and would be perfect for Valentines day.
LOL The Pyrex Butterfly dishes. Absolutely - I grew up in the 70s (graduated high school in 1981). We lived about 1/2 hour from the factory that made them, and they had a store where folks could buy all their products. So we had a bunch of the old Pyrex everything. 🙂
Surprisingly enough when I redid my kitchen a few years back the I painted the upper part of my wall pink. I surprised myself but actually really love it.
My parents had the green butterfly pattern plates when I was growing up in the 80’s I just found 6 of the big plates with the green butterflies on it so I bought them for cheap on market place and put them away cuz of the memories!!!!:)
The hot tray is used to keep food warm. Or u can keep chocolate warm so u can dip strawberries. Or keep it soft making candy. I use to use one all the time.
Ten dollars😊 We had the green spring blossom Corelle. The NH plate is so great! I enjoy your eye, you pick the most darling items. I think the blue toll letter box was my favorite and your gold cats are very cool❤
I live in the city that the Corell is made in. We got to have the newest patterns as soon as they came out. Just about everyone in our family worked for the the factory at some point
I have a trivet hoard. This is getting complicated lol It looks great in my collection though. Maybe I’ll have better luck selling the next one I find. 😆😅
$10! That would be a great price if they were in furniture pieces! Despite that, you got so many cool finds Nicole! I really liked the imperfect owl figurine and that cute pink girl bank. You’re right to keep the owl frame and the hot plate!
You should have purchased the cat bowl and Creative Co-op bell. The cat bowl is from Japan and helps digestion as cats don’t have to strain their neck to eat. The bowls sell for $16-24, depending on size. Creative Co-op is a super popular online store.
Sorry i just giggled over you saying you have a trivet problem, I have one I love I use it as a spoon rest on my stove, it could easily become a problem for me as well. Btw you have inspired me with your 70s decor, iI credit you for my home now resembling the late 1960s 1970s vibe. You would love my kitchen with 1970 yellowish orange curtains my mom gave me.
Great video. i love your outdoor living space. your Hocus Pocus party looked like a great time. Thanks for sharing your time with us. Take Care. God Bless.
I guess Greedwill prices have finally hit your neck of the woods Nicole 😢 You still found some neat pieces. I loved the Our Kitchen trivet and the owl picture. The cats were unique looking and two for $10 wasn’t too bad. TFS girl! ❤
Golden butterflies for wedding gift in 1976. We still have them and use them! They are so much more lightweight than pottery! Something to consider as the aging process begins, lol
You crack me up! That warmer tray is probably 60’s-70’s. You would use it to keep your food warm! Before microwaves. I love to go to GW. You just never know what is in there !
When I was a kid, early to mid 70s, my mom had something like a bar cart and the top was that heated electric tray. I don't recall it ever being used to heat anything lol. I will have to ask my mom about it.
Ten Dollars, Ten Dollars, Ten Dollars, Ten Dollars lol! I love those cute, kitschy baby planters I am kinda glad they aren’t big priced resellers because I just started collecting them and I LOVE the 4 Kittens Book, sooo cute!
I love the metal tole letter holder and was sad that you didn't get it. The chipped paint just adds character in my opinion. If it's still at Goodwill the next time you go shopping, please get it and I'll happily purchase it. As far as Corelle goes, my mom was obsessed with the Ivy Swirl pattern which is what I grew up with. Everything in the house was also ivy and hunter green, including the carpet and curtains. Needless to say this is probably why I'm not much of a green person.
Ten dollars is ridiculous! I stopped shopping my local Goodwills shortly after they discontinued selling vintage jewelry in my state.. It gets sent to ShopGoodwill online. Then most prices rose to Walmart levels. I shop for vintage in antique malls and Etsy instead.
I am doing the same. Goodwill is badwill. I give all my shopping to 3 charity shops that are within 10 minutes from. Me. Nicer everything and I love the charities. Goodwill can go bankrupt. They never have discounts anymore on anything.
My brother works in the warehouse at the Goodwill in Thorndale PA. I went for a visit in 2017. Was overpriced then. Jewelry was junk, since all the nice pieces were picked out by management and put up for the online auction.
That’s my neighborhood GW! There are sooo many complaints about the manager. I’ve left several reviews about ridiculous pricing on literal JUNK. Recently, the pricing has aligned more with other area GWs. I still don’t go there first though, I prefer other locations.
$10.00!!! Now, to hanging the owl picture! Take a small tack and the frame will sit on it between the picture and the frame. By tack I mean skinny shorter nail! I’ve done it myself!! 🎉
Wow you are starting to get high Canadian thrift store prices now, yikes on ten dollar items. Yesterday I just picked up some more butterfly gold corelle dinner plates I think I have 14 now lol, and I have 4 woodland pattern on top of that. As far as trinket boxes I keep my rings in one in the kitchen and the bathroom my eyeglass wipes. My mom used to use her hostess tray to keep potatoes , meat warm etc. Towards to end I was saying out loud ten dollars sadly most times I was right.
BOOP that LIKE button. 👍 🧡💛
Butterfly Gold Corelle I still have mine from 30 years ago and i have my mother inlaws set too. I still buy pieces when i find them.
The Butterfly Gold Corelle was the first dinnerware in our marriage nearly 48 years ago.
I have been married longer 51 years!! And we had the green Corelle
We’ve been married 49 years and I have BOTH sets (service for 12) and all the matching Pyrex pieces! It’s still my favorite thing to thrift and add to! Also many of the Corning Ware cornflower blue casserole dishes and bakeware! Love it all 😊
We had Spring Blossom 50 years ago!
I like the picture frame of the owl 🦉. And the 2 cat's 😺😁

Yes Yes Correll Green Flowers. They are the strongest lightest dishes I've ever used. Keep using them.😁
Yup, we had the butterfly gold corelle in our home growing up!
We had the same crockery, same pattern, for our everyday dishes. Plus, my mom had a lot of Corning wear baking things, for stews, macaroni and cheese, etc.,. Came with both glass and plastic lids( plastic lids were used for storage once the food cooled.

I'm living in the house I grew up in and I'm using those correll dishes right now, same pattern!
Had the butterfly gold Corelle dinnerware as our first set of dishes in 1973
i have that guy in that snowglobe as a christmas ornament also. he's from the '70's. we had him growing up.
I have the corn blue set from when I got married. They are the best dishes 43 years and still going strong. Love Corning dishware. Microwave or oven they work great. I love the pink candleholder!!
I'm definitely a pink person! Love that end cap😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍
Surprisingly enough when I redid my kitchen a few years back the I painted the upper part of my wall pink. I surprised myself but actually really love it.
@@NestingHaven fabulous! Pink is happiness to me. I love how you have decorated your home 😍😍😍😍😍
My parents had the green butterfly pattern plates when I was growing up in the 80’s I just found 6 of the big plates with the green butterflies on it so I bought them for cheap on market place and put them away cuz of the memories!!!!:)
Married in 1980 and I got Woodland for wedding shower. My mom had the gold. I’ve collected the solid white now and we use them every day. Ten dollars.
I love the little kittens book. I think I have one like it around here and had one when I was little in the mid 1960s.
I had both of those Corelle dishes. I just recently donated my gold ones but kept the green ones.
The hot tray is used to keep food warm. Or u can keep chocolate warm so u can dip strawberries. Or keep it soft making candy. I use to use one all the time.
I use my 3 hot trays all the time. I dry herbs on one or use it for keeping anything hot. Warm plates, warm mixing bowl for yeast doughs….
I have the Schmid clown and found it listed undamaged and working at 40 to $60. I love it.
I still use my Corelli Butterfly Gold dishes everyday.
Ten dollars😊 We had the green spring blossom Corelle. The NH plate is so great! I enjoy your eye, you pick the most darling items. I think the blue toll letter box was my favorite and your gold cats are very cool❤
I use a hot tray I bought from a thrift store. I use it during the Holidays to keep casseroles hot.
I had butterfly gold and still have
Like the trivia too
The heating tray would keep casseroles or dishes of veggies hot during dinner or a party. We had one when I was growing up in the 60's.
I have the Gold and blue Corelle and still loves them! Nice haul! 🙌🏻
I live in the city that the Corell is made in. We got to have the newest patterns as soon as they came out. Just about everyone in our family worked for the the factory at some point
Most of those prices were outrageously high! ✌🏼❤️
😅
Yes! My parents had those dishes. My mom loved gold. We lived in a big beautiful Cape Cod that was painted gold. 👍❤️
The bird trivet is really lovely!!
I have a trivet hoard. This is getting complicated lol It looks great in my collection though. Maybe I’ll have better luck selling the next one I find. 😆😅
I still use those exact Corelle everday!
Love that duck!!
I remember the kitten book when I was little
$10! That would be a great price if they were in furniture pieces!

♥️ the 2 gold cats 1970's I think. Good buy girl👍

Spring blossom 1976
I grew up with corning ware. The blue cornflower pattern. I saw a quick glimpse of a piece lolol. I have a huge collection of those pieces
10 dollars - I thought things were a bit too high too. Great finds!
I love love the watering can! There was also a white metal pot on the shelf right above the watering can that I am in love with!
Isn’t that a great one?! I’m kinda obsessed myself. ☺️
I love Christmas cookbooks, too! That’s a pretty cookbook!!! 🥰
I love to turn on classic Christmas tunes and just browse the Christmas recipe books. 🤗
The dog’s head was on his tail. The paws were going the other way and gwill is trying to pass it off. 😂
Haha I didn’t see that while I was trying to get it to stand lol but I do see it now. Too funny!
I have some of the Butterfly Corelle in my cupboard
I feel like butterfly gold was the most popular for sure.
we had the blue dishes, later we had the yellow dishes.
I grew up with that pattern of Correl. My mom still has a few cups we never used. The cups are so small
Golden butterflies for wedding gift in 1976. We still have them and use them! They are so much more lightweight than pottery! Something to consider as the aging process begins, lol
We use post 86 fiesta and it is very heavy lol
I have them now ...thrifted of course.. Corelle $10
You crack me up! That warmer tray is probably 60’s-70’s. You would use it to keep your food warm! Before microwaves. I love to go to GW. You just never know what is in there !
We had that exact Corelle set. I recall we never used the cups.
I do tend to see more of the cups and saucers out and about. The bowls seem harder to come by.
10.00😁I liked the cats !
I use those hot plates at Thanksgiving to keep things warm that I cook in the oven or on the stove top, gravy mashed potatoes ECT. They are great.
My father had those dishes until he passed away and now I have them.
family heirlooms are the best!
I still have them,I use all different patterns.
Ooh! I love a good mix and match.
When I was a kid, early to mid 70s, my mom had something like a bar cart and the top was that heated electric tray. I don't recall it ever being used to heat anything lol. I will have to ask my mom about it.
It was probably one of those things people gifted to each other because they didn’t know what to give maybe?
Look on eBay for the 2 gold cats. I found 1 listed for $45 but didn’t do anymore research then that.
Ten Dollars, Ten Dollars, Ten Dollars, Ten Dollars lol! I love those cute, kitschy baby planters I am kinda glad they aren’t big priced resellers because I just started collecting them and I LOVE the 4 Kittens Book, sooo cute!
Ten dollars! Love the porcelain doll.
Haha yes! Thanks Wendy! 🧡💛
I was surprised that you passed n the Royal Doulton toby mug so quick Buz Fuz D5838 - Small - Royal Doulton Character Jug 1948-1960
I had the Spring Blossom gifted to me in 1983 by my mom when I got married.

Every time I see a blue blue goose I think of you
☺️
Same and lately there have been alot in thrift stores where I live in Ontario.
I love the kitten book! So cute!!
Hey Dori! 😆 it still cracks me up.
Loved this video!
Aww, thanks so much, Merry! I appreciate that more than you know! 🧡💛
10$ I have that little girl with the duck you have on your self behind you. It was my Mom's. I love it.
Hey, are you reselling the rose mailbox thingy?!!!
Ten dollars!!!! HaHa Yes I grew up with that very same corelle dishware in the 60's and seventies.
Ten dollars! I loved this video!
Ten dollars. Love the gold cats and the kitten book!
I didn't grow up with correlle. My mom never had it, not sure why 😆.
That's a lamb on the nursery planter. Not a poodle 😆. You and your knicky knacks 😆.
Maybe Knicky Knacks is a Maine thing? Never heard “knicky.”
You just passed a fairy lamp... Clear with the top upside down... Partylite
You are right! I didn’t even see it in person but I did when editing. 🤦🏻♀️
I still use those Corelle dishes
Which pattern do you use Linda?
@@NestingHaven I have a mixture of the gold, blue, and then some circles
And olive green...lol
Ten dollars! Love the dimpled cats!
I had the Woodland Brown set of Corelle.
I love woodland best! Brown is my favorite color. ☺️
@@NestingHaven mine too
The dogs head is on the wrong side. You can tell by the feet are backwards.
It might be missing it’s tail
Ten dollars! and I love those cats
Thanks Sheri!
Fyi, all corelle dishes made before 2005 contain lead.
That’s true, but that would mean everyone who is still alive after using it should theoretically be dead!
Oh I watched the video to the end and noticed you didn't share in your haul... Lol

The metal plant doggie was so cute. But, his head was on the wrong side of the pot, which is why he kept toppling. He was missing his tail too.
Oh! Yup! I see it now! 😅
$10.00!!! Now, to hanging the owl picture! Take a small tack and the frame will sit on it between the picture and the frame. By tack I mean skinny shorter nail! I’ve done it myself!! 🎉

I never had Corelle. I always loved China.
i think the bobblehead puppy was missing his tail
The dog planters head was on the wrong side. I think it would have stayed standing otherwise!
I hope someone figured it out rescued him! Was adorable.
$10.00. Thanks for the goodwill bring along.
Thanks for watching, Maryann! 🧡💛
