Scott looking into the camera singing, "I'm just here to say goodbye' is beautiful and heartbreaking. This is a great transitional song, and Avi tweeted his love of the song and said he loved them all.
I love that Kevin was playing his part and Avi’s part through the Cello.
Kevin have learned to played the Cello in the way to emulate a singing human, so he literally took Avi's part and played it on the Cello. That's why Avi wasn't missing. He was there in the cello.
If yu haven’t noticed Kevin playing the cello was actually the part Avi would sing if he was still in the group
the trio showing why they are legends.Kevin was fantastic too.
The feels are through the roof on this video. No Avi = Sadness.

I didn't realize how deep I've been sucked into it all until I had tears streaming watching this the first time.
I am so glad you liked it. There will be no more new music videos with Avi but they are on tour with him currently until September 3. September 3 is the last day they will perform together. The other members have confirmed they will get a new bass it is sad after following them for 6 years to have someone replaced. However, they need to replace him to continue on and I look forward to seeing what they will do next. Great reaction guys.

The cello is named Beyonce, and Kevin calls the combination celloboxing. His viral video of celloboxing is how Scott found Kevin in the first place.

You are also right about the band having to get to know someone and see how they work out. Kirstie said that whoever they pick will have to have blend well with the group and that may be a difficult process.

I know you love Kirstin. She has her own VEVO channel and 3 great videos on it. Her own EP is out.
They actually found Kevin by watching TH-cam videos, and they saw him playing the cello and beat boxing in those videos and got in touch with him to be a member of Pentatonix and go on The Sing-Off!! He's fluent in 5 languages, including Chinese, and he was pre-med before PTX, not to mention he's played the cello at Carnegie Hall twice!!!
Avi has his new group now, Avriel and The Sequoias. You really should see their cover of Hey Ya! It's highly recommended. It's perfect.
Annika Cabanog nah! It isn’t perfect really. It’s the only song where he reminds us that he is an awesome Bassist, but otherwise, it’s not one of my favourites.
Next, you should see their original song Run To You. Pleeeaaase
if they used the Cello for every piece of music they put out moving forward they wouldn't be an A Capella group. That's the only glitch I see with that, But I thought the same thing. Since Kevin was often not in frame I keep thinking of it as The Trio performing with accompaniment. They all did a great job on this! Thank you for reacting!

If you listen closely, you notice that Kevin’s cello is replacing Avi’s singing. The lower notes that Kevin was playing could have been Avi’s “voice”.

I'd have to disagree, the cover although fantastic was slightly "hollow" because of the lack of Avi's bass.
I hope they find a new bass soon so we can get a more complete (yet different of course) sound back.
