I bought that same cup. There is a plastic cover on the inside at the bottom of the straw, you can’t see it but you have to look! I’m telling you I was wondering why I couldn’t get any out: but once you take it off it’s the best cup ever
Tip one : you should have used the directed amount of dye which will make it more pastel Tip two : never take the bands off because you will just fill the whole thing with colour . If you think you see too much white , it will eventually spread onto more of the white patches. Hope that helped u and I love u so much xoxo
COVES CUP has to be “activated” before the first use. The straw has a one way valve to prevent spills and you won’t be able to get much out of it unless you do that. Squeeze the valve in the upper portion of the straw. Hope you see this so cove can try her new cup!
1. Don’t take the elastic bands off of your tie dye bc then the dye will bleed! 2. Let them sit over night to fully dry 3. Once fully dry, take them to the sink and rinse them out until your water is clear, then throw them in the washing machine and dryer Hopefully this helps you for next time!!
if you don’t want to redo them you could try to do a reverse tie dye where you do the same thing you just did but keep the band on and use bleach instead of dye to get some of the white back. you gotta keep the bands on to get the tie dye look!☺️
I just used the Rit ‘tan’ dye and got amazing, pastel results! When you’re diluting the dye, start with warm water and slowly add the dye- I tested the color on a paper towel and added more dye as needed to get the color I wanted. Soak the clothes in warm water then ring them out before you dye them. Crinkle each piece of clothing and use the rubber bands. I do recommend taking off the rubber bands once you’re finished, just to see if there’s anything you’d like to fix! I let the clothes sit in a trash bag for about 6-8 hours, then rinsed them, then washed them! Also, Toni Sevdalis has a great tie dye video for pastel results- definitely recommend watching to see her techniques! Hopefully this helps for next time 💕
You need to do less than a table spoon of dye it you want it pastel and keep the rubber bands on until you rinse with water before washing...let sit over night
Leave the rubber bands on, because it keeps the ink from spreading lol, and if you feel like there’s too many white spots thats okay the ink will eventually spread. Also use less ink and lots of water for pastel color! Or perhaps try finding another ink color? The one you used seemed really vibrant
When you tie the rubber bands that is what keeps the white from getting color on it. Also diluting the color with water is what gives that pastel look. Love the vlogs! Cove is getting so big!! ❤️❤️❤️
Start with just a small amount of dye and test it before applying it so you can adjust as needed. You can always add more dye! Also I've found it useful to dampen the material before applying the dye. Also don't go too overboard with how much you put on since it will bleed a bit in the wash. Hope this helps!!
Tie dye tips! To make a spiral shape (so it’ll have white spirals), you need to lay your pullover flat, pinching the middle and twist, the whole shirt should be twisted towards the middle and then you should put rubber bands to secure it (put them so they will intersect in the middle). The tighter it is, the more defined the white will be. Other than that, you should use the directed amount and color the shirt. Let it sit inside a baggy so the color saturated over night, then put it under running water until most of the dye is out, after that you should take off the rubber bands and let it dry completely. First wash you should wash it alone so the color doesn’t bleed on anything else
Next time you tie dye, you should do less of the orange with more water, and you have to leave the bands on until you rinse it with cold water. Also you should leave it out until it’s dry, or almost dry, then rinse it and wash it.
Wet the clothes before you put the band on, put less dye to water and don’t take the rubber band out while they sit and it should work the way you want! Hope this helps 🥰
make sure to keep the clothes tied up with rubber bands and not to put too much dye in the cracks or else there won’t be any white spots. I also wet my clothes and ring them out before I start the process! Hope these tips help:)
OMG I LOVE THIS!!! I would love to wear it! If i understood you correctly, it sounds like you took them apart and noticed there was a lot of white left? Once you rubberband them, DO NOT undo them until they are finished. Look up different ways to rubber band for tye dying! And defintiely do the 2 cups to 2 tablespoons. Rit is some STRONG stuff!
You have to wet the shirts and ring the excess water and then you need to use an actual tye dye kit to get the affect you wanted then you let them sit for a couple hours then you let them soak in a salt water bath to set the color and then wash them
I’m a fashion major! It’s easier to tie dye apparel that is mostly 50%+ cotton. Use more water and like 2 capsizes of the actual dye! While dying them don’t undo the rubber bands. If you want a precise layer of dye try just bunching the material together and putting dye then move around the material and put more. It’s better to use less dye and go back & have touch ups! If you think it’s too white don’t overcompensate, bc it bleeds!
hi aspyn this happened to me last week when I tried to do a tie-dye sweater! To fix them and make them lighter again, get toilet bowl cleaner with bleach in it. It has to have bleach! Then, re-do the whole "tie-dye" process (i.e., elastic bands, spray the toilet cleaner with bleach all over) but use the toilet bowl cleaner like you used the dye the first time around. Once you cover the clothes in the cleaner/bleach, wait 15-20 min and then rinse and wash your clothes will lighten up and become more white/pastely
Rit will dye your clothes but it is, from my experience, more absorbent because is was made when you want to dye a piece of clothing one color (ex: you want to make a white shirt completely red). That doesn't mean you can't use Rit dye with rubber bands, you just have to adjust how much you use. Also, to get the best end result, leave the rubber bands on your clothes overnight and, after removing the rubber bands, rinse your clothes for a few minutes under cold water to remove excess dye and then put them in your washing machine (without other clothes). When your tie dyed clothes have washed, leave them out somewhere to dry. You can also get a Tulip tie dye kit which is specifically made for rubber band tie dye projects (it comes with rubber bands, gloves, and squeeze bottles).
I soaked my clothes in water and wrung them out. Leave the bands on and don’t completely saturate with dye. Put clothes in plastic bags or plastic wrap and leave overnight then rinse and put in washer 😊
for the tie dye- don’t take the bands off otherwise the dye will definitely leak through. also make sure you twist them super tight and the bands are tight as well!!
you can still use the orange ones and lighten it wet the sweaters tie the rubber bans and use bleach in the squeeze bottle and do the same thing wash in cold water in the washing machine.
You’re supposed to leave the white because when you wash it the color will be rinsed throughout the whole thing leaving part of it a super light orange and the dyed part a bright orange
To Aspyn: First, wet the outfit a little put in the rubber bands Then, don’t mix as much tie die to water and it will be lighter Next, don’t remove the rubber bands let dry for like 8-10 hours Remove rubber bands Then, rinse till water runs clear and wash
You’re not supposed to take the rubber bands off. You’re supposed to leave a lot of white space. I know it doesn’t seem like you are putting enough dye, but you are to get the tie dye effect. Also you can use the swirl technique by pinching the center and they just rubber banding it and putting the dye on the top and bottom and that’s it
you need to rinse them off and squeeze them out before you wash them. the dye will bleed in the washing machine and dye the white parts if you don't rinse out the excess before you wash them
tie dye them wet!!! keep the bands on them, and use the directed amount of dye! tie the rubber bands super tight too to get more white! starting them off wet will give it the more pastel look
You have to keep the bands on, use the correct measurement, let them sit for 8-12 hours, and rinse them really well before washing them! Good luck next time! ❤️ I’ve made the same mistakes before
I have done sooo much time dye, FYI you are not supposed to take the bands off. Also 24 hrs and you have to rise then in cooled water and then wash them!!!!
funny about this story because this happened to me a few weeks ago. I was walking out of work in an intersection and my phone must have fallen out of my pocket. Someone found it and my husband had texted me. My phone was locked so she saw his name and found him on instagram! We ended up meeting up. Crazy! But so so thankful for good people in the world!
You are supposed to have them wet a little , ur not supposed to take the bands off and you are supposed to leave it for 24 hours and once the 24 hours is done u need to put it under water so the extra dye comes off and that’s how u can get the light orange . Then you wash them in cold water and COLD WATER ONLY. and then that should work better
It’s because you took the bands off
I bought that same cup. There is a plastic cover on the inside at the bottom of the straw, you can’t see it but you have to look! I’m telling you I was wondering why I couldn’t get any out: but once you take it off it’s the best cup ever
use the directed amount!!! a little goes a long way! if you want pastel colors add a little more water!

Awww Covey drinking her smoothie and getting a moustache was the cutest thing ever hahahah! ❤️
You should watch Laurdiy. She has a few tie dye videos and they all have turned out great!

You should try to bleach dye the clothes! Maybe that’ll take some of the color away/tone it down a bit
It'll be lighter if they're wet when you apply the dye.
Try using less dye and keep the elastic bands on while they dry ;)
Try tying them in tighter sections and using less dye! They turned out great though!
Aspyn Parker and cove’s vlogs make me so happy they’re so wholesome and sweet I love them
You need to do less than a table spoon of dye it you want it pastel and keep the rubber bands on until you rinse with water before washing...let sit over night

Cove is such a smart and beautiful baby! She’s growing up so fast 🥺💕

Orange is literally my favorite color! I would love one please!!!
This pink outift is so stinking cute on her 😭❤️

Prewash and leave the material damp before dying, it takes better. Also, the longer it sits the better it will take. I hope it works next time.
Please watch Nicole Guerrero’s newest video “DIY: Tie Dye Matching Sweatsuit” she makes it so much more clear how to tie dye!
Yeah normally you don’t take the bands off you leave them on until it’s time to wash them 😘
Wet the clothes before you put the band on, put less dye to water and don’t take the rubber band out while they sit and it should work the way you want! Hope this helps 🥰

The white parts are supposed to be there.... awk

I love the whole the dye jumpsuit trend but I’m sooo bad at anything DIY so I’d probably fail at this lol 😂😂
I saw the thumbnail and thought wow...bright colors...Aspyn hates super bright colors😂
I like when you guys cook in the vlog!!!
Oh my gosh Cove drinking the smoothie was the cutest little thing ever!
#ParkersSuperSecretShow Are you guys religious at all? Are you ever planning on taking Cove to church?
Love you guys!! You’re awesome❤️❤️
My eyes are blessed to see baby Cove! She is sooo cute!! 😆😍
Imagine Aspyn Ovard and Parker Ferris returning your phone to you.

Love you guys!!! Ready for that white set to come back in stock at Luca!!❤️😘
Yeah usually your not supposed to take the rubber bands off. The rubber bands help keep it white in some areas. But the color is cute tho
You can always buy a pastel set, and bleach them when they are rubber banned. That will give you the white and pastel color you are wanting.
I would pre-wash them and use less die with more water and leave sit overnight!!! That might work better🧡 I love you guys
You’re supposed to leave the white because when you wash it the color will be rinsed throughout the whole thing leaving part of it a super light orange and the dyed part a bright orange
you have to use the amount they say and you also should not take the bands off. that’s why there is no white. and let them sit over night
To Aspyn:
First, wet the outfit a little put in the rubber bands
Then, don’t mix as much tie die to water and it will be lighter
Next, don’t remove the rubber bands let dry for like 8-10 hours
Remove rubber bands

Who else has never tied dyed anything?! 😂❤️

you need to rinse them off and squeeze them out before you wash them. the dye will bleed in the washing machine and dye the white parts if you don't rinse out the excess before you wash them
A weighted straw is a great way to get them to learn! It’s the only way my daughter could figure it out.
I think they turned out cute! But if you wanted white you can’t pull pieces out and dye them, you have to leave them scrunched up.❤️♥️❤️♥️
It’s because you took the bands off. You have to leave the bands on until you rinse. Trust me it’ll work!
tie dye them wet!!! keep the bands on them, and use the directed amount of dye! tie the rubber bands super tight too to get more white! starting them off wet will give it the more pastel look
Don't take the rubber bands off! That's what helps keep the white spots
Cove is so adorable!!
It's so nice to find a phone and to find the owner!
You have to keep the bands on, use the correct measurement, let them sit for 8-12 hours, and rinse them really well before washing them! Good luck next time! ❤️ I’ve made the same mistakes before
I have done sooo much time dye, FYI you are not supposed to take the bands off. Also 24 hrs and you have to rise then in cooled water and then wash them!!!!
y’all are sooo cute 🥺🥺
Coves cup isn’t bad that's what it's supposed to do, us as adults it’s hard for us but for kids its good plus they can’t spill it
You took the bands off leave the bands on overnight. You also don’t have to drench the entire thing. 💕💕
Love watching Cove, shes the same age as my babe ❤
You can try bleaching those orange sets so you still get the tie dye pattern!
No one
Parker: AMAZING
when i tried this tie dye thing, it was also a FLOP for me!! i guess im just not crafty!
Because you took the bands off but also I think you're supposed to get them wet before dying them !
Wait try doing the bleach tie dye over this set!! Could end up super cool!!
I’ve been tie dying soo much lately!
Gotta get the entire item of clothing soaking wet then ring it out.
Try the “bleach dye” on the bright orange ones!
I love the orange! X
Always excited to watch your new videos!❤

Then you wash them in cold water and COLD WATER ONLY. and then that should work better
You need to keep it rubberbanded to have the separation of white and dye!
try doing the tiktok thing where you put toilet bowl cleaner with bleach on your tie dye sets and it will probably tone down the colors!
Ahhhhh i cant believe i am so early💕 you guys are my favorite couple on yt❤️
another vlog! yay!
You guys are the best!
More water directed amount of dye ! Also don’t take rubber bands off til your gonna wash them !
When there no comments to read and 7 views 😔 I love you guys!❤️
I love you guys so muchhhhhhh xx
Watch Laurdiy's tie dye projects you'll figure it out
what app do you edit with?! Love you guys!
You cant take off the rubber bands. The white spots you filled in are why it bled through
This was private! I am so confused!
Keep the rubber bands on until u rinse and wash it and leave it overnight!!
There is a girl on ig named emily speir look at her highlight she does the besssst tie dyes!!!
aw love this video!! 💕
Aspyn you should cut Parker’s hair!
LOVE U GUYSSS BEEN WATCHING sINCE YOU GUYS WERE IN COLLEGE xXxxXXx
