I have the iPad Air m1 and the Macbook Air m2. The iPad Air is a great size and really quite enjoyable to travel with, but I also have been trying to use it as a 2nd monitor for my iPad Air and its too small for that. Also, the screen is really dim in bright lighting situations. So, I'm considering swapping the iPad air for this iPad pro, but with your review I'm thinking that may mean that I'm just getting an iPad that's too large and heavy to just be, well, a tablet. I'm not going to get the newest ipad pro because its stupid expensive.
Love the iPad! Thanks for the review. Ironically it feels kind of in a strange spot that’s a lot closer to the original Macintosh than any form of modern computer.. even the multi tasking is a reference to the old app switcher.
I have turned my iPad into my main computer and use it at work (as a teacher). You just need the Magickeyboard and Apple Pen and Apple Mouse. Screen-sharing turns you into a teaching wizard with the pen as your main tool, (iPad mini is better for female teachers as iPad pro is heavy.) and i should note that I use the iPad pro 5G version and its 80% my Cell Phone too. I only need my iPhone if I need an SMS or Call. (No one calls anymore with Wechat, Facebook and Whatsapp.
