Girl!! You had me when you mentioned that you changed your mind. And at hoarding of the transfers is a problem for you. Me toooo!! And I must have 50 trays! I’m subscribed and am going to watch some older shows of yours. 😘😘
Give it a couple years and I see an IOD support group! Their products are so gorgeous we just want to keep and look at them! 🤷♀️. I’m so glad you enjoyed the video and welcome!!
I am enjoying a lazy afternoon (finally) and find watching you so relaxing! You are such a patient creator and I just love learning from you! Those birds have my heart and what a great way to feature them!
Thank you friend! What a great way to end the week…just relaxing and resting!! 😌 I’m waiting for the “Book of Birds” transfer from IOD! Can you put in a word?!😊
Your projects are just beautiful! Loved the riser❤️ I can hear you perfectly and the music was pleasant and not loud at all nor was it annoying. Love your channel and thank your for the inspiration ❤️
Leanne, what a wonderful video, I really enjoyed the remake of the bottle brush trees on the spindles, but; I think my favorite what the gun powder can.
Those projects turned out great, so beautiful and I love how clean your workspace is! Thank you for telling us about the hooks because I didn''t even know they made those. I am loving the new releases this year from IOD.
Aren’t they just beautiful! I had to share the hooks when I discovered them, they’re a game changer! About my workspace… thank you, but you don’t see to the left and behind me…lol😆
Absolutely beautiful!!! I love the Kitschy Christmas Transfer book & I hoard my transfers too!!! I will stamp the sides to help make them stretch!!! Love them all & thanks for all the tips!!! Love your music ❤️🌲❤️
Those were so great! My first time to visit you. It’s nice that your words are on the screen. Music was fun! I’ll be going back to all your previous videos. Thank you!
Great projects. Regarding the box on which you put the bird rub-ons, on the side that you put the ribbon, greenery, etc., you could make seasonal decorations and Velcro them on, making them interchangeable for each holiday or season. Thanks for sharing!
Hello LeAnn, I really loved everyone of your project ❤️ I think the idea of what you did with the old tin was awesome putting the cork in the hole so the tree branch/Xmas tree was very talented.⭐️ but I truly loved everything awesome decor... Tfs 😊 Darlene
Leeann, (is this the correct spelling?) thanks for the tip on washing the new chippy brushes. Would that also apply to other paint brushes? That tree you made for the gunpowder can was prettier than any bottle brush tree ever! The heavy riser was quite a find and so gorgeous when you finished. Birds on anything get my attention, but these birds are so beautiful and your container was ideal. So pretty and the back side was, also. Can’t pick a favorite, all were lovely. Thanks. Enjoyed!
Hi Sarah! You’re very close as to the spelling, thank you for asking! 😊. As far as the brushes, definitely! I learned about that tip at the retreat and it would apply to any brushes. I’m so glad you liked all the projects, and I’m just waiting for the IOD transfer book that’s ALL birds!! 😆
Ok, I’m only on the gun powder tree (1st flip) and I have to say, finding the perfect item to upcycle is the key. That rusty red tin. Perfection !! Ok, let’s see what else you have up your sleeve 🤗🤗🤗🤗
I really enjoy watching you work through your process, and listening to you, not only is your voice angelic, but the way you give yourself, and us, permission to do it…what’s the worst that can happen ?? It’s only paint and ink. lol. Where else can I stamp it lol. AND Thank you 🥰🥰🥰
Hello. A little trick, you can add a little diy paint to your milk paint to make it adhere better if you don't have extra bond or to make it more opaque.
I'm glad you enjoyed the video and found my channel! I completely understand it does look a bit odd. What we're sanding off isn't the texture exactly, we're sanding off some of the paint that's been applied on top of the texture. The sanding smooths out any rough areas from the textured paint while exposing the paint color that's underneath. 😊
That riser /cake plate is an old Southern living piece. They were very expensive back in the early 2000s. They made great pieces. I jyst discovered your channel and love your projects. I do agree with the person who commented on the music. It repeats itself over and over and is distracting
Hi! Newbie to your channel and love your ideas! I have a booth, too, in Louisiana for the last 6 months! My problem is with pricing my crafts or redesigns I do! Could you tell me how much you priced your projects? Thank you! OXOX
Welcome, I’m so glad you found me!!😊 Congratulations on your booth!! 🥳 Believe me, I feel your pain, finding the right price point is a big struggle for me too, especially depending on your area!
I love the update to the spindles. Do you only sell on etsy or have a store too? I'm thinking of getting a space so I don't have to deal with shipping things but really can't decide what to do.
Thanks so much! Yes, I do have a booth space as well. It is convenient not to deal with shipping sometimes. 😊 The mall I’m in, is really geared toward antique/vintage, not so much upcycle, so I have my Etsy (soon to be replaced by my website) to appeal to a broader audience). It can be a tough decision for sure. Good luck, and I hope you find what works best for you!!! 😊
What do you all prefer DIY or Dixie Bell paint? New to the craft and diy game and not sure what to try. I have been using Waverly chalk paint but it's hard to find the right color sometimes. All 6 of your projects are gorgeous especially the brown glass bottles. That was the only set of transfers that I did not buy and having some remorse about it.
In all honesty I prefer DIY paint. I live in a very small town with no stockists close by. You’ll see me use Dixie Bell quite a bit as the craft store near me was closing and I was able to purchase paint at a discounted price. I know some stockists still have the Tinsel transfers in stock if you change your mind. Thank you for taking the time to watch my video! 😊
Just keep in mind when music, no matter how lovely, is always annoying when it is repeated, and when it over powers. I had to turn the sound off, but wanted to hear what you were saying.
Thank you for your feedback. When speaking, the music volume is set at 5% (out of 200%), and maybe 10% when I’m not speaking. Turning on your closed captions may also be an option if you find it too loud.
Loved them all. Making a tree out of that branch in the first project was genious!
Thanks so much! That’s my favorite kind of rustic tree! Just finished 6 more for this week’s video! 😆

@@SmallGesturesVintageCrafts I will see what I can do! 😜
Inventory Room. I like that so much better than stash. Or hoard. Classy 😘
Thank you!!! Stores don’t call their excess goods a hoard or a stash…neither should we!! 😊
I can't pick a favorite...they all came out beautifully! I love the crackle effect with the milk paint.
Oh my too! Watching those crackles and chips come out makes me so happy!😃
I’m have 2 booths in Cherokee County! So glad I found your channel!!
@@Spartanwife27 welcome, I’m glad you found me too! 😆. Thank you for taking the time to watch!! 🥰
Woodstock Antiques in Acworth Ga stocks IOD! She has 2024 Christmas in stock!
Your projects are just beautiful! Loved the riser❤️ I can hear you perfectly and the music was pleasant and not loud at all nor was it annoying. Love your channel and thank your for the inspiration ❤️
Thank you so much for your feedback, I’m glad you enjoyed the video! Thank you for watching and welcome!! 🤗
All of these are beautiful. The riser with the wreath and the bin with the birds are my favorites!❤
Thank you, I’m so glad you enjoyed them!😊
I loved all of these, my favorite was the birds. I got some great tips watching this video.
I’m so glad, thank you! That’s always my goal!😊
It is nice to discover your channel.
Welcome! Thank you for taking the time to watch! 🥰
I just found your channel and I'm so glad i did! They are all very pretty! The tree/spindle redo is perfect!❤
Thanks so much! 😊 I’m so glad you’re here!!
I absolutely love the silver tray!
Thanks so much, I love how it turned out too! And I am able to ship…lol! 😊
Love the bird box. I also like to do something different on both sides. Makes it versatile. ❤
I totally agree!
See….that box is the PERFECT substrate for the Birdies transfer !!! Perfection 🥰🥰🥰
I couldn’t believe it, when I realized it was the PERFECT fit! 😍
Leanne, what a wonderful video, I really enjoyed the remake of the bottle brush trees on the spindles, but; I think my favorite what the gun powder can.

Great projects! I loved all of them! So glad you had a great time at the retreat! Go Dawgs! 😊
Thanks so much, it was such a special time! Just a couple more hours… Go Dawgs! ❤️🖤❤️
On the spindle trees add some antique red velvet ribbon and maybe decorate the trees a bit
Yes, that would look very pretty.

Thanks so much Darlene! This was one of my favorite videos I have to say. I just love how they all turned out! 🥰
I love project 1….the tree on the tin is gorgeous ❤
Thank you, I was sad at first when I saw that hole…until I spied a little tree!! 😆🥰
I love how you made your tree! This is going to help me so much for my tree projects for my booth!
Oh yea, I’m so glad! 🙌🏻
I don't have a favorite, but I'm glad that you changed out the project from last year, I think it will sell now.
Yes, I am in complete agreement!! Thanks for taking the time to watch!

beautiful projects
Thanks so much!😊
I am not a fan of the gilded transfer set, but it certainly is popular.
I wasn’t either in the beginning, and admittedly, it’s not my go-to, but it sure brings an impact to pieces!😍
Very pretty riser!
Thank you! 😊
I have that same heavy riser and now I know what to do with it. Thanks!

Those hangers are cool, I bought some
I’m so glad I found out about them!!
Love your channel! Just subscribed!😊 I found that exact same pedestal.
Welcome and thank you so much!! It’s a heavy little thing isn’t it! 😆
Hi, your projects are lovely. Where I live in Greece we don't have a lot of options with IOD designs. It's a shame because they are gorgeous.
@@Raphstav thank you so much!! I’m sorry you don’t have a lot of access to them in Greece…maybe soon! 🤞😊
My favorite was the silver platter. I agree about the music being annoying tho.
Thank you for your feedback.
I agree. When music repeats it is always annoying.
Great tip to wash brushes before first use…I always lose bristles.
Glad it was helpful!
I really liked how the amber bottles came out. Just not a big fan of the gold transfers. Gold in general!
I get it, I’m a silver girl myself, but there is something about the gold on this dark bottles..,😍
I enjoyed watching you, it was my first time on your channel. I am puzzled by why so many of you add texture, then you sand it off.

Better with no music
Agree. Cut the music. Or cut volume way back
You put texture on your paint...
Then sand it off.

Glad you enjoyed the projects, and thank you for the feedback.
Sorry..that music has to go. It gets on people's nerves..repetitive
Thank you for your feedback, I’ve actually changed the music format in my recent videos.
