Hey there. Since this is outdated, is there any solution to capturing facial animation with my android and importing that onto my Metahuman in Unreal? Just like Apple's Livelink app, but for Android. Thanks!

Great tutorial, how did you get the plugin to work with UE5.0.2?
If you open the project in UE 4.27, then open it in UE5 it should work. The plugin was built for 4.27
The plugin does not compile for Ue 5

unfortunately, the facemoji app is no longer supported. i am looking to find a new way, however, you can always check out my latest video using the Hallway Face tile. Its not as powerful but still provides excellent results.
Doesn't work in 4.27 either. I made a new project, put it in the Plugins folder, and it asks me to rebuild it. Says it can't be compiled
Using 4.27.2 . Do I need an even older version just to rebuild this thing?
i am working on a version that should worl for UE5 out of the box, but for now, you might want to try opening it with UE5

@@BESTvsWORST-vx2dg unfortunately, the program used was deprecated. I have uploaded a new version that wroks well in UE5. It does require some tinkering, but it works.

The VDO it look really good but it doesn't work, i tried to put JSONLivelink to 4.27 and 5.0.3 so many time , error: "Androide_LIVELINK could not be compiled. Try rebuilding from source manually" , what suggest to do ?
i am working on a tutorial for this right now but for now, I would try using an older version of 4.27. its alot, but I am going to upload a new version before the holidays. Its just been really busy with work and everything....

Hi could you please make a video or explain how to setup the mocap4face app to don´t get the message of 90 seconds demo has expired. Get an API etc... I already read everything and I have the api code but I don´t know where to copy, trying for help in discord but nobody answer. please help me to set up everything.

well I ran into trouble aswell so...found this:
"Due to changes on the horizon, we’ve disabled new API keys generation in the Alter Studio. This means we are pausing new partner signups. Existing partners will have access to mocap4face until August 31, 2022 after which access will be discontinued.
We apologize for any interruptions to your development."
