Im buying it, despite it being an EA associated game, because it is different. I want to support originality with my money far more than I do the next CoD or any other sequel of tired games. I hope it is worth the support.
@arrowslice6741 I hope its the start of a new policy for EA. They used to make some very original games, then they got a bit generic. Some of my favourite games are EA studio games. But they are 15-20 years old now.
Immortals of Aveum looks amazing first person magic like fps fantasia game and purple colored Hand of Sandrakk looks so beautiful. That video was really good. 💜
After seeing people complain that it’s gonna be as bad as Forspoken because there’s magic and a bracelet, or people complaining about the character you play as in an FPS, or because there’s an EA logo even though they didn’t make it, I totally get why the elites treat us the way they do. If I were the dev and this flops solely because of stupidity, I’d quit the industry.
Former COD devs thought why can’t we make a game like COD but with magic. This is what we got. Looks like a mix of titanfall (without mecs, but in terms of traversal) alongside that one COD where you could zip around on walls and swing about. Shadow warrior 3 ish, which I personally think was good game
This could be pretty neat, but do we HAVE to have another blank slate protagonist in one of these kinds of games. Hell, Lichdom Battlemage at least let you choose between a male and female protag. AA game for sure, but still.
I'll pre- order it just because I'm interested & it looks really amazing so far hope it's not like the past EA games like Anthem plus if there is a post launch multi- player Supposing supposedly coming at a later date then that's an extra bonus I guess !
No. Please don't preorder anything. No matter the company even if they never miss in your eyes. We need to stop promising money up front to companies. Because they will have less incentive to make a better game. These games are approved by, and development time set from suits who never touched a video game. No developer wants preorders. Stock holders do, and they smile every time anyone does it.
This game looks sweet except the most jacked character is female. Its one of those weird trends in gaming that annoys me. Why do half women in games built like the T100. Its odd when .0001% of population are repersented by 20% of the females. .0001% population very rarely get that build without steroids. Last of us 2, street fighter 6, etc.
How can they make a game like this with no PVP options and a story that only takes 2 days to complete? Do they want us to get bored right away and start playing other games? Dont buy this at release.. Wait for pricedrop or till PVP is available

I think I would like it more if it were combat with swords.

i think it looks great. We have plenty of FPS shooting bullets. Need more Fantasy FPS titles! I really like the niche this one is in.

4K aka checkerboard rendering with a heavy reliance on FSR to get 60. None of it is native on the consoles.
I've always wanted FPS game but with magic instead of guns, hope this game doesn't dissapoint.
