it does work on gta but since there are no analog sticks you still have to use a controller to walk around but once your in a car you can drive around with the racing wheel and pedals

looks to me like its not "optimized" but its in the game. Can you adjust the settings in need for speed? For example, in "Grid" you can adjust deadband (amount of wheel movement in the center without any tire movement), linearity, and saturation. It just seems to me that its setup for joystick control, and needs to be adjusted in game for a wheel.
I wouldn't think so because those aren't racing games. I understand that there's driving involved, but when you get out of the car you wouldn't be able to control the character with this wheel.
I recommend checking to see if a racing game has force feedback. I tried playing NASCAR 08 with my wheel for the 1st time and struggled because that game use the standard wheel, no force feedback

If you guys really want a good steering wheel get the mad cat force feed back racing wheel I picked mine up for about 170-200 it is a great wheel

Yeah, you'll need some form of A/C input for the wheel to power the motor that turns the wheel and provides feedback.

i can open the clamp and detach it from the board, but wheel and clamp are like glued together. it's really annoying
