Still using my Logitech G27 wheel I’ve had for 7 years. Never had one problem with it. Bought the wheel and bought NASCAR racing 2003 too at the same time. The thing is a trooper it’s been through three gaming PC’s and a lot of racing racing on Raceroom and CarX. Done a bunch of ATS and ETS also with it.
Its a wheel which comes with shifter and 3 pedals and compability with all the major consols and pc It achieves everything which thrustmaster and logitech cant without near 400€ or over With little bit better wheel it is the best wheel set you can find for lower prices
I was looking for this comment. I mean for the price it's good. Like I can't find a FFB with a clutch and the shifter under 4 to $500. I don't know where these people are finding cheaper Wheels with FFB but I can't and this wheel does a good job for the price
Had a wheel like that few years ago, bought it off a friend for about 6 euros, which was a fair price for such a product - it was absolutely terrible, just like this one. Potentiometer with crappy encoder with visible stepping for steering, clicky, but bland feeling thin plastic shifter paddles and fully plastic two pedals that crumbled a bit every dirt rally session. It had a sequential shifter knob that also had a click sideways, which was nice for a handbrake. After adjusting gamma in game for ets2, it was the only thing it was remotely enjoyable at. This thing should cost 50 euros at best, and mostly due to a functional shifter, really no point in it otherwise.
They literally just added the shifter and an extra pedal to the v900, which is a $100 wheel that competes with those bungee cord wheels grandma buys little Jhonny for Christmas.
at least this wheel has 900 degrees of motion, those bungee cord wheels don't, plus a lot people don't want to spend 300 dollars on a toy, force feedback is some bullshit nothing like a real racing car, go drive on a track for real, some of these sim racing setup cost as much as a real track car lmao
Sadly, cheap wheels is THE ONLY OPTION left for minimum wage people. In Malaysia, US$199 is one mid range smartphone and pretty much the only affordable thing to most people. I want a driving peripheral set but I don't want to break my bank.
I was thinkig to buy this as my first wheel for a bit but fortunately I decided to give some more money so I got a g29+shifter. Force feedback is something that you can not live without in sim racing or even in a few arcady games like forza horizon, grid etc. A solution if you play on pc is to get a g27 at least its an older versin but it has wheel+pedals+shifter in the package, it has force feedback and it costs now less than 200$.
The pxn v9 I heard is really good, good build quality, solid for the price and you get a 6 speed shifter/ 12 speed, with the low and high gear switch, and a 3 pedal set with aluminum plates for only around 180, force feedback is kinda unnecessary, it just makes cable management harder because you have extra cables
Force Feedback is unnecessary depending on what you're doing (I assume). I have never had force feedback, but unlike most people here, I've driven a car and do drive a car daily. I'm here to just be able to make more accurate inputs than on a controller. Although for drifting I heard it can be very helpful. Not as much for F1 Racing or just racing games, but for drifting at least, I heard it's mandated. Some other things I've heard about this wheel, is unlike what you said, poor build quality. For example, the entire thing is made out of plastic (wheel), and most things such as shifter and gas/brakes/clutch also break easily. I am getting mine delivered tomorrow so I will try to update this then. Although I'm quite disappointed as I wasn't trying to buy this but rather received it as a gift from my parents.. :( Now I gotta use this till it breaks which probably will be in 3 days anyways.
I bought a as new (because it was replaced in warranty so it was still packaged, but with 6 months less warranty) G27 in 2015 for 180€. I still use it today. I modded the pedals which I still find good, and I am thinking to upgrade to the cheap direct drive that fanatec did. Point is, you can easily find used g27 for about 100 euros today, and if you're on the cheap that's what I recommend. Better wheels don't guarantee to make you a better driver, also, so it makes a lot of sense to get good on old good steering wheels
this makes my logitec g27 i got free from a guy that thought it broke after sitting in a shed for a couple years, seem like a the best deal ever. comes with everything there except the buttons on the wheel arent like that. but i get force feedback. a decent encoder and pedal deadzones aren't bad
thank for the review im planning to buy this soon cause in india rn this is the only wheel at the price which has everything i need without being too out of my budget the g29 with pedals without shifter in india is like 30k inr and this pxn v9 with the pedals and shifter is 15600 inr
I got this setup for 60.00 at a pawn store. Fast forward probably 30 hours, I realized the mode button tells the PC it's a keyboard so you can map in everything properly. Once I figured that out, it's a win. 60 bucks. and only the 900°-270° switch doesn't function it's stuck on 270. Oh well. Wouldn't say it's Trash though. It's cheaper than a thrustmaster setup and does all the same things.
It bugs me when companies charge the same numerical value regardless of currency. 200 USD is 150 GBP not 200. Even with 20% vat (on the high side for US I think), the dollar figure still doesn’t equal 200 GBP. A product not worthy of the price regardless but that sort of stuff discourages me even more.
I got my g25 for 140 second hand, pretty much new though. The guy used it like once. They did live in a mansion though so they probably weren’t too worried about the money loss. My first wheel and I’ve never had so much fun.
I bought a Hori wheel a long time ago for $50, had vibration, auto centering and worked as an xbox360 controller. It wasn't bad for the price, at least.
Bought a used Logitech Driving force GT wheel for 50 bucks. Sure it's missing clutch and a shifter, but man, the FFB and 900 degree turning radius are the 2 features I couldn't go without, now that I tried it.
*I had bought a Thrustmaster TMX Pro for $350, it came with a ffb wheel, pedals (Clutch, Brake, Gas), Seperatly i had bought a Thrustmaster TH8A Shifter for about $215 & a cheap Amazon hand brake for about $100… Itʻs not cheap for a simple sim setup, thatʻs not including the stand if you need one which is another $100, in total thatʻs about $715 not including tax or shipping.. I also wouldnʻt recommend getting the Thrustmaster TMX Wheel, I donʻt know if it is normal but it has a loud whinning belt sound when turnning the wheel, but the ffb is still good & working..*
Another flaw on this is the connecting cable that goes from the remote to the wheel. It flimsy and would lose connection to the wheel if the remote is moved just the slightest.
I still use 20 year old cheapest Logitech Formula feedback wheel 🤣😂. Few wire solderings, potentiometer replacement (needed to do some DIY holder for new one), one plastic cover for button broke, so ductape to the rescue 🤣😂.
I just bought my first wheel. Paid 50Euro for a Logitech Driving Force GT It is a bit of a pain to set up, being for PS3 and using Logitech Profiler, but it works and man is it good! My only gripe with it is that it is loud.
Same wheel, I don't mind the noise, just crank the volume of the game. Only thing I miss with it are clutch and a sequential shifter. Other than that, great wheel! I also paid 50euro for mine.
I agree. Around $80 is what I remember paying for my first cheapo thrustmaster wheel, it was basically the same thing as this... no ffb, autocenters via bungee cords. It was actually a surprisingly decent wheel considering the price, I got a year out of it before upgrading to a wheel with ffb.
Well considering that the G27/29/923 whatever is minimally 450 dollars in my country while this can be had for a maximum of 250, with PXN official on amazon selling it for 189, the reason for this existing is pretty clear to me. The hori apex/overdrive wheels are also around 170 bucks, so for a little more I get a gear shifter. The only possible force feedback wheel I could get would cost me over 400 dollars, so this is a much clearer value proposition in my currency.
My first wheel was a rubber band wheel. $50 wasted. It connected to the PS3 as a controller, like this one. It did not have a shifter, but I didn't care about that at the time. The resolution was so bad, that it was physically impossible to drive straight when I tried it on GT6. I was able to drive much faster on the standard controller. I later got a T150, and the experience was incredible (though I haven't tried any other FFB wheels yet). I can't understand how this thing could be sold for $199. That's a scam IMO
lol, I bought my T300RS for ~€205 on a sale back in april (it's the 2 pedals version, switched from G29 and also bought a T-LCM at that time), this is a joke. You can buy a used DFGT for half the price.
I used the previous model which is PXN v9 before upgrading to a thrustmaster ecosystem, I played using PXN in some competitive racing, I was a backmarker, off pace about 2-3 seconds no matter what I do.
Wow at least yours kinda worked. I bought one, it worked for 30 minutes, went to my girlfriends parents house, came back and it was consistently spamming both the A & B buttons. And then over time of me trying to fix the damn thing (like unplugging stuff and plugging back in or resetting on PXN app) it started to make all the other buttons glitch out. At that point the entire thing is unusable. I send it back, they send me a new one for free, except this one is broken out of box, doing the same thing the first one did. They’re scumbag scammers, don’t trust them. They get passed licensing by plugging the steering wheel into the controller. If anything, go buy a thrust master or a Logitech G920. I have the G920 and it’s far better for long term and it’s the only fairly “cheap” one I’ve seen with a clutch pedal. It was $317 after tax and the shifter is an extra $60 but it’s far better than this piece of shit. Spend the extra money for a G29, or G920, you won’t regret it.
You got it at 200 bucks damn I only bought this for like 100-120 bucks granted I live in asia and I only bought this because I'm a broke student but for its price I enjoyed playing it
I got this wheel a weak ago. I should have did research on it because was looking for a force feedback wheel. I didn't buy Logitech because of the price but honestly I should have.
@@i8y8 have you ever been to an arcade and decided to play a racing game. When you crash the steering wheel goes crazy and you can't control it. That's the force feedback, the wheel kind of turns on its own when it senses force from the car. Best way I can describe it
Not everything has to be new, I bought the majority of my SIM racing equipment second hand, for me it was important to have enough money to buy a g923+shifter multiple bass shakers with amps, wind SIM kit, playseat challenge, I've also modified and improved everything I can. My setup is pretty immersive, I'd love a fanatic wheel and pedals, but that would cost more than everything I've spent and not be such an immersive experience.
I was planning on buying this and my friend has this wheel, he says it isn't good and tells me to get a Thrustmaster T150 or a T150 Pro for a similar price. I am just going to play games like CarX, American Truck Simulator, Assetto Corsa, and SOME Dirt Rally 2.0. So I am probably going to get the T150 just because it is a more stable and sturdier wheel which lasts longer and has Force Feedback.
Get a used thrustmaster t150/TMX "pro" (with the better pedals) or a logitech g29/g920 (or g923 if as cheap, alternatively g27 but as with all check the condition). Should be cheaper than this and much better. Got a t150 pro for 120€. Unfortunately for me it wasnt well kept and half broken, but I wasnt that lucky with the price as I've seen at least 2 others for same price (and better quality). Only bad part of course is that none include a shifter, and its hard to get a cheap one working with thrustmaster. So if shifter is a need, probably better to go for logitech unless you've got a bit more money to spend or time to get it working with tm
To be honest, I would be the target group for this wheel.... for my casual cruising in ETS2 and Horizon 4/5... but not for 200 bucks, nope. I have almost no force feedback in my small 60 hp VW up! either, hah.
honestly i got this setup for 60 bucks at micro center and its great for budget and just starting, but farther down the line if i get more into it i would recomend a upgrade

I got a Thrustmaster 458 Ferrari wheel for 250 dollars and my controller does a better job controlling the car. Even when I played around with the deadzone settings it was still bad. It was supposedly brand new but it came with the brake pedal broken.
I think it's high because of travel tax. In Philippines it'd around 130 to 150 USD. But yeah i also made a diy wheel without FFB. But i would like to get a G29 someday. It's really hard ti find 2nd hand wheels in asia countries especially SEA. 200 is too much for that.
A G27 goes for roughly 349 USD or a G29(without shifter) for 390 USD in my country. 2nd hand market dried up as we entered 2nd year of the varus so much so that all of the cheap listing are "for parts" only.
It’s bc of how it comes with. I would have rather asked for a G920 or a G923. Both of which don’t come with the shifter so that’s more money to spend. Idk but I just wanted to maximize my chances of getting my first wheel. With wheels being 300+ with no shifter and sometimes no clutch, I didn’t want to ask for something that ‘expensive’ while still having to either save up or ask for the shifter as well.
@@niklasdavind4722 tbh thats the only person I see buying this. The pxn v9 is like 250 cad. This wheel should be like 100. I bough a g27 on ebay for 160 overall with shipping. I own this wheel and i like it (as the video mentions it). I bought it for ATS simulator, but what I do not like is about the deadzone.. It's like -3° on left and +3° on right, so before I see my truck turning, I have to turn before to see turning (something like that) so it is hard to stay in the lane without zigzaging \/\/\/. So I unscrewed the wheel to know what was inside and its only a potentiometer B10000, its good for audio equilizer only, not having a perfect smooth precision drive "(¬ . ¬)"

Im excited bc im getting this wheel today for my birthday and it may not be the best wheel but it was the best one i could find that has almost everything i wanted and we can afford it
Have u tried it on f1 games? Is it good?
I got my T150 with T3PA pedals for €200. This looks like an overpriced but slightly improved HORI Racing Wheel. I don't see any reason to get this over a cheap used DFGT, or a similarly priced used T150 Pro.
I had a Logitech G920 or G29 on my Christmas list. I got a G29 for Christmas and when I asked Dad about it, he said he actually didn't look based on my chirstmas list. He did his own research and came to the same conclusion as me. I really had fun playing f1 2019 with it, super happy.
This makes me feel like I had one hell of a deal a few years back when I got my g27 for €140
???? You play ac now?
@@MGdrifts I do every once in a while, I just don’t have time for it to play regularly.
I still haven’t even attempted an online race. It’s been like 3 years since I’d bought it
Me too I got a thrustmaster tmx for around the same price in American dollars
Still using my Logitech G27 wheel I’ve had for 7 years. Never had one problem with it. Bought the wheel and bought NASCAR racing 2003 too at the same time. The thing is a trooper it’s been through three gaming PC’s and a lot of racing racing on Raceroom and CarX. Done a bunch of ATS and ETS also with it.
Its a wheel which comes with shifter and 3 pedals and compability with all the major consols and pc
It achieves everything which thrustmaster and logitech cant without near 400€ or over
With little bit better wheel it is the best wheel set you can find for lower prices
I was looking for this comment. I mean for the price it's good. Like I can't find a FFB with a clutch and the shifter under 4 to $500. I don't know where these people are finding cheaper Wheels with FFB but I can't and this wheel does a good job for the price
if a logitech wheel costs nearly 400€ then you must be getting scammed
@@cristiansimep5921 they range from 280-360€ its nearly 400€
@@thme6413 280 is not nearly 400
@@thme6413 im guessing that ur thinking of the g923
Nice. I like how you use the same gmail account after 13 years too lol
i think you are mentioning the PXNV900
not the pxnv9
Ok, you're right, this is the real demolition! 😂

I can't seem to find this anywhere for less than $200.
Budget steering wheel list:
1- thrustmaster t150 (good forcefeedback)(no clutch)
2- logitech g29/920 (bad forcefeedback)(with clutch)(seperate shifter)
3- pxn v9 (sacrifice forcefeedback)(with clutch)(with shifter)
My personal opinion:
Used/second hand logitech g27

Man I love your honest reviews!!! This is so rare in the current world of youtube!
Videos like these are so much better when you link alternatives. Sigh, back to searching
this makes my logitec g27 i got free from a guy that thought it broke after sitting in a shed for a couple years, seem like a the best deal ever. comes with everything there except the buttons on the wheel arent like that. but i get force feedback. a decent encoder and pedal deadzones aren't bad
thank for the review
im planning to buy this soon cause in india rn this is the only wheel at the price which has everything i need without being too out of my budget the g29 with pedals without shifter in india is like 30k inr and this pxn v9 with the pedals and shifter is 15600 inr
I love seeing reels on Instagram of turkish people using this wheel and flexing a blacked out g63 mod in ets2
That's funny
I also wouldnʻt recommend getting the Thrustmaster TMX Wheel, I donʻt know if it is normal but it has a loud whinning belt sound when turnning the wheel, but the ffb is still good & working..*
be happy there are companies out there looking out less fortunate people everybody cant afford a high priced gaming driving wheel
Another flaw on this is the connecting cable that goes from the remote to the wheel. It flimsy and would lose connection to the wheel if the remote is moved just the slightest.
Can confirm.
PXN-V9 owner here, it is quite crap and my shifter has stopped working. I am going to upgrade my steering wheel in the future.
I still use 20 year old cheapest Logitech Formula feedback wheel 🤣😂. Few wire solderings, potentiometer replacement (needed to do some DIY holder for new one), one plastic cover for button broke, so ductape to the rescue 🤣😂.
I have a 10-20$ wheel and it's the same thing as this one, except it only has 2 pedals, no shifter, and only suction cups
I just bought my first wheel. Paid 50Euro for a Logitech Driving Force GT
It is a bit of a pain to set up, being for PS3 and using Logitech Profiler, but it works and man is it good! My only gripe with it is that it is loud.
Same wheel, I don't mind the noise, just crank the volume of the game. Only thing I miss with it are clutch and a sequential shifter. Other than that, great wheel!
I also paid 50euro for mine.
@@markothevrba You do have a seq shifter though. But I use it as a handbrake
I got my g29 for 189€ a couple years ago, this thing should be worth 80$ at best
I agree. Around $80 is what I remember paying for my first cheapo thrustmaster wheel, it was basically the same thing as this... no ffb, autocenters via bungee cords. It was actually a surprisingly decent wheel considering the price, I got a year out of it before upgrading to a wheel with ffb.
You know when you get suction cup mounts, you’re in the next level.
hopefully pxn contacts you again for a review of the v10. Seems pretty interesting.
The only possible force feedback wheel I could get would cost me over 400 dollars, so this is a much clearer value proposition in my currency.
idk but this only costs 80$ for where I live pretty good price for the features it offers some doesn't even offer a shifter at that price point
That's a scam IMO
i got this a little while ago and trust me it is not crap it was actually really good
For everyone saying its an crappy steering wheel no it’s not it’s an great steering wheel and it works on every game I play
lol, I bought my T300RS for ~€205 on a sale back in april (it's the 2 pedals version, switched from G29 and also bought a T-LCM at that time), this is a joke. You can buy a used DFGT for half the price.
I also just ordered a T300 for my first wheel.
@@guhjjify I have T300 RS solid wheel
I used the previous model which is PXN v9 before upgrading to a thrustmaster ecosystem, I played using PXN in some competitive racing, I was a backmarker, off pace about 2-3 seconds no matter what I do.
I got a used G27 2.5 years ago and it's basically in almost new condition.
Be happy with what you have
Wise man
Wow at least yours kinda worked. Spend the extra money for a G29, or G920, you won’t regret it.
i bought an old driving force gt for like 80 quid, and while it doesn't have clutch or an h-shifter, and is very loud, it's pretty good for the price
What is forced feedback
@@i8y8 have you ever been to an arcade and decided to play a racing game. When you crash the steering wheel goes crazy and you can't control it. That's the force feedback, the wheel kind of turns on its own when it senses force from the car. Best way I can describe it
@@theantagonist2960
Thank you for the information my man
The fact that a Logitech DFGT with 900 degrees rotation and FFB used to be $80 new...
You just said CASUAL? So, this is perfect for me! Hahah!
What are you talking about?! This is the most professional wheel ever! I installed one into my car!!! 🤪🤪🤪
I know what you mean I just got a g29 with shifter and a mounting stand for £180 from ebay if I got it new it would be closer to £400
@@acid3129 That's a bargain, I paid similar, feels better not paying over the odds aswell !
@@00Clive00 its even better because the g29 and shifter was only £166 the rest was for the stand from a different seller
Position of the wheel itself is most similar to a bus. As far as i know there is a bus simulator game on pc.
Note to anyone you get what you pay for no matter what it is. Don't expect quality if you buy cheap
I’m my country, got mine for 30 bucks brand new, I’d say that is a good ass deal for one
To be honest, I would be the target group for this wheel.... for my casual cruising in ETS2 and Horizon 4/5... but not for 200 bucks, nope. I have almost no force feedback in my small 60 hp VW up! either, hah.
Disconnect the power steering and you'll have force feedback.
honestly i got this setup for 60 bucks at micro center and its great for budget and just starting, but farther down the line if i get more into it i would recomend a upgrade
centering spring is a good mechanic, just like g25-29 series, centering spring is good for games with no FFB or bad FFB output, and you don't want cheap FFB like gear system anyway... no ffb is the best option until you get to high end belts or dd. Not having FFB at all and being $200 is good.
I just got it today for 30 dollars, is awesome at that price.😊
Wait a minute… the g29 has the Logitech logo in the middle??? Mine doesn’t have one lol
I got a Thrustmaster 458 Ferrari wheel for 250 dollars and my controller does a better job controlling the car. Even when I played around with the deadzone settings it was still bad. It was supposedly brand new but it came with the brake pedal broken.

Well the wheels got more expansive - I remember the Logitech Driving Force Pro and later Driving Force GT both good value for money.
It’s funny your cat just made you crash into a barrier
... I still want one. I have a TMX, but I still want one.
But why
I think it's high because of travel tax. In Philippines it'd around 130 to 150 USD. But yeah i also made a diy wheel without FFB. But i would like to get a G29 someday. It's really hard ti find 2nd hand wheels in asia countries especially SEA. 200 is too much for that.
A G27 goes for roughly 349 USD or a G29(without shifter) for 390 USD in my country. 2nd hand market dried up as we entered 2nd year of the varus so much so that all of the cheap listing are "for parts" only.
I don’t know, 200 is too much for this wheel, I can’t imagine someone buying it
Yeah worth prob 120$ or 100$
Well, parents
It’s bc of how it comes with. I would have rather asked for a G920 or a G923. Both of which don’t come with the shifter so that’s more money to spend. Idk but I just wanted to maximize my chances of getting my first wheel. With wheels being 300+ with no shifter and sometimes no clutch, I didn’t want to ask for something that ‘expensive’ while still having to either save up or ask for the shifter as well.
I wtxh ur vids lol
@@niklasdavind4722 tbh thats the only person I see buying this. The pxn v9 is like 250 cad. This wheel should be like 100. I bough a g27 on ebay for 160 overall with shipping. I had enough money to swap out the wheel, make a custom handbrake (ill make a vid on that lol) and a shifter knob swap. I was able to get a whole brand new wheel for less than 220. This wheel is bullshit
I found this wheel and everything it comes with for $98 on Amazon. It was my first wheel ever and serves that purpose very well. But yeah it is a little crappy ngl. Compared to $200 wheels
The thrust master ferrari 458 wheel is a bang for a buck tho
It be awesome we get mid range £400 wheel that has cross platform compatible. (Without adapter for it) Like that wheel, but better build quality, Motors and etc.
I know some Fanatec wheels have does cross platform features, but I wish Logitech, Thrustmaster and Hori do same thing.

Great for American/Euro Truck Simulator (FFB is unimportant) and Snowrunner (Has no FFB on my G920 anyways)
PXN v10 is a great wheel it works very well and PXN has great support if u need help
I had this wheel but couldnt get it to work properly so I returned it and bought a g923 for $200.
Hi I got this wheel for. Christmas bow do I use the claps for the desk
Daaaaamn, now I know the reason of wheel slippin between points - it's a low res of the encoder?
I own this wheel and i like it (as the video mentions it). I bought it for ATS simulator, but what I do not like is about the deadzone.. It's like -3° on left and +3° on right, so before I see my truck turning, I have to turn before to see turning (something like that) so it is hard to stay in the lane without zigzaging \/\/\/. So I unscrewed the wheel to know what was inside and its only a potentiometer B10000, its good for audio equilizer only, not having a perfect smooth precision drive "(¬ . ¬)"
these type of wheels has their market
Ik im gonna miss out on ffb but i aint got money to get a shifter addon while already spending more in the wheel itself. Just need a starter wheel.
Almost bought one for ATS but I got lucky and found a Logitech G27 for $150 on FB marketplace
