The singles are growing on me but return to the earth has definitely got my attention. Still hoping for heavy stuff on the rest of the album. If it doesn't turn out that way though fair enough because even if it's not the sound I would prefer to hear you guys are still incapable of making bad music and I'll still be at your shows when you come near me count on that \m/
Michael Lessard you don't need to apologise for anything man. So glad you guys have stuck to your guns and followed a new direction. Fuck the haters, everything you've put out feels so fresh and new
Duo Maxwell You're entitled to your own opinion sure. But "Hounding" Misha and saying his band could be any better without Spencer is downright wrong. There are plenty of other bands with a wide range of vocal styles to listen to. Go find one that suits your tastes. On another note. I loved this piece of music!
Spencer has one of the most dirty/ saturated/ heated vocal styles I've heard in modern metal in a long time, akin to the heat you hear in Axel roses voice, a style that couldn't compliment Periphery any better, maybe your talking about the tambre of Spencers voice? In which I suggest you listen to some Scar Symmetry for that deep operatic low larynx!
To those who don't know - this is basically a eulogy for the singer's friend who died of an overdose. His friends mother passed away, and his friend couldn't handle it so he turned to drugs and died a year after his mother. That said, this entire album is sort of a chronicling of his last days. It's fucking sad, and knowing that story - when you listen to it every song and space between takes a new meaning.
Taco Crisma I definitely didn’t expect this album and language to compliment each other so well. After reading new interviews, language made a little more sense and this finished the story with kind of the opposite over all vibe that language had Life/Death. Having a sister that has recently become clean, certain lines Micheal sings definitely hit home a little bit.
That makes so much sense. This song reminds me of my mother, who is a alcoholic and losing herself, in many ways she is dying. I feel like my heart truly understands this song.
That’s because he has been through a lot at a very young age!!! He lost his best friend! This whole song is the pain that his friend and mother had to deal with!
This song is just so hauntingly beautiful. This album as a whole is helping me cope with the loss of my sister and my uncle who both passed away last year. A drunk driver took the life of my oldest sister and my uncle died from cancer 3 months later. I felt myself losing my sanity.. the most hardest time of my life. It’s difficult still, but I know they are at rest. They just “returned to the earth”. Thank you guys for making this album. Thank you.
Mario Soto I am sorry for your loss. And you are right, The Contortionists music is something else. Their album “Language” is one of the best albums ever. Something from a higher form of consciousness, in my opinion.
I'm very sorry that happened to you. Music like this just taps into something almost ethereal. Hauntingly beautiful is exactly how I'd describe it. Best of luck to you and safe travels.
"You were so sick.... You were Skin and Bone.....So you fed yourself excuses...." I completely understand the disappointment that some fans are feeling. I admit that this was not what I expected either (and I adore Language) But despite my initial disappointment at these tracks, they are also deceptively infectious. I didn't realize that after the first listen, these songs would permeate me so deeply. The raw emotions these songs tap.... it is truly incredible. The above lyric is something I both anticipate and then recoil from with every listen. It hits so close to home, even despite how vague it is. It's the kind of truth you need, but don't want to face. I've witnessed so many friends and family suffer in so many ways, and this lyric taps into that helplessness I felt as they continually chose to perpetuate that suffering. Thank You The Contortionist. I know you are moving far away from your roots, and it's a dangerous change, but I appreciate it.
This line, like many in this album, refer to Michael Lessard's friend who passed away, a victim to his drug addiction. I didn't really like this album in the beginning, but after learning the context behind the lyrics, oof did it hit me like a trainwreck.
Hikari Yami 5 months late, but fuck do I relate. When the album came out I was like “oh it’s alright I guess.” Then I read what it was about. Then I read all the lyrics. Then I listened to it all over again. Then I had to fucking try so hard to not cry. This album is so fucking good, and it’s just better with every listen.
Thanks for replying. Honestly, I think I'm still in the "it's alright" stage. But I'm fully addicted to this song. I keep coming back to it, again and again. It's almost daily that I either listen to this verse section or just sing it to myself as I go throughout my day. But it's been gradual for me since the release last year. But I'm super intrigued by your's and Hikari Yami's points about learning the context and reading deeper into the lyrics. How did you guys go about that? Just through interviews and deep-diving into the lyrics yourself? Has there been much internet discussion or dissection of the album concept online? I've only heard the concept behind this song and read a bit about the band repurposing a section from an older song for the second verse as an homage to his late friend. I guess I was aware that this tied into the concept for the full album, I just didn't think much beyond that until your comments.
ThoughtfulMusician, well, really I found out due to some comments on a genius lyric page. But after that, it's almost plainly obvious that most of Mike's lyrics during his time at the Contortionist make a reference to that. You can think of Language as a *celebration* of his friend's life, the time that they had talking about philosophy and him returning to his deceased mother, hence all of the *mother-sun/son* lines in those songs. Meanwhile, Clairvoyant seems more of a *mourning* where Mike dives deep into himself and his regrets. He thought he could bring his friend back, *back to Earth,* but in the next and final song of the album, he reveals why he just couldn't help. "It's just not that easy, when all that's left is just all your bones" His friend became a shell of his former self, and it was too late. From my part, however, this is mostly speculation and analysis based off of the lyrics. I'm not sure if he's talked about this topic in-depth in an interview or not. Take it as you will.
By the way, his friend apparently overdosed because of his mother's death. Looking at the lyrics from that angle gives you a WHOLE new perspective on Language. Take a listen to that album keenly looking into references to "Mother". In Monochrome: Pensive, there's this one line that really hits hard. *Maybe I was just desperate to think - you'd be fine after you lost your mother.*
These songs, so far, have been the most approachable songs the contortionist have ever released. Lots of people in these comments are identifying the songs as boring and non-experimental, but its absolutely not true. The songs are approachable. You can understand some of the things going on very quickly. Especially so when comparing it to previous releases. But there is tremendous depth in the harmony and rhythm still, even if the beats end up being in 4/4. This song transitions between a wide range of vibes, all well maintaining fantastic flow. Music like this can serve to satisfy a wider range of listeners, but on top of that it can serve as good music for more states of mind. It satisfies the person who listens for complexity, as well as the person who listens for simplicity. And I bet that the boys in the contortionist are on both sides of that fence, which is why this music is what is appealing to them as of now. To the people claiming its not proggy because its not in odd times, you are the one applying rules to music, and that isnt very proggy lol.
hahaha, just my take on the music. I study the shit out of the contortionists music and all music I like, and approachability is something I see people start to consider once they find themselves going crazy far down the rabbit hole of making odd/proggy music. Theres a point where things are so odd you can find yourself not liking your own music depending on the day. Music like this is easily likable and weird in all the right ways. hits both nails on the head. This kind of approachability is something to strive for.
Arguing The Human, I couldn't agree more man. People need to open their minds when it comes to the idea of Prog. I recently had an interview with Steven Wilson and he told me that its ironic that people have this idea of being "progressive" yet they're all stuck imitating a style that was popular in the nineties. He released "Permanating" and the world was up in arms because apparently it was a Pop song, let the dude grow! This Contortionist record is probably the best thing the band have done. Which, being such a young band is so exciting. I think The Contortionist are really at the forefront of the Prog world in 2017! You'll love the new record!
They write music purely for the sake of music and you can hear it. Combine that with the chemistry they have with one another, and you have a recipe for earth shattering music. Language is one of my fav releases of all time, Im thinking this album has a honest chance of making it to number 1. And I am not the type of person who can usually decide on favorite artists, but the Contortionist have left an unparalleled impression on me.
They have renewed my love for the genre. I was listening to this genre before it existed. Fates Warning was one of my favorites during Arch. And when they shifted, they had insane talent. But they got so abstract, it was no longer pleasing to the ear. The same goes for screamers. If you use it as a method, it accents the music. But if that’s all you do, it tells me you don’t have a singing voice and are just covering up for it with screaming. Chris Cornell was the flawless blend of both. But there are so many amazing musicians out there, who, because of their poor singers, ruin the melodic lines and in effect, the music itself. What I love about the contortionists direction is this dynamic tension of intensity and calmness. Of dreamy melodic lines with tension and power in the music. It is genius and it is a testament to a tight musical group who all have matching taste and form, yet are unique in their vision. Kudos to you guys... I can’t get enough. When I listen to an album so many times you can’t listen to it any more, you are approaching epic, like Puppets, Back in Black, or Ten.
Love the new material! However, just realized that the chorus of Return To Earth is somewhat similar to that of 6gig's song entitled Tincan Experiment. Nevertheless, it is confirmed that the Contortionist have a permission to use the lyrics.
Petr Ash what the fuck.... How did you realize this? And how do you know TC has permission? I tried googling this and all I found was that 6gig is from Maine and so is Lessard
Everytime I come back to this track it still hits hard. Lost alot of people to addiction and overdoses. I myself struggle with alcoholism, shits even harder when you're still trying to recover only to relapse over and over again...many blessings to all.
Between this and early grave, the songs helped me navigate my fathers suicide. I greatly appreciate the artistic expression and am still hopeful we will get more songs in the future.
"And you were so sick. You were skin and bones. So you fed yourself excuses." Someone close to me nearly died from anorexia, so this line really jumped out.
To be completely honest. I absolutely love the direction this album took. And at first I wasn’t sure how hard it would stick. But here I am 3 years... 4 years? Later and I still can’t get this album out of my head. My personal opinion, these guys are the new age “Pink Floyd” and anything they put out I can’t be disappointed. The contortionist is definitely in my top favorites
I'm going through a pretty rough and depressing time in my life right now.... these new songs have been hitting home to me. Michaels emotions, the lyrics. Couldn't be more thankful for these musicians. Absolutely incredible. Update Oct 2018: this comment was posted over a year ago, this song and album saved me and took me through the darkest time of my life. I had the album on repeat for months(literally) as I dragged and stumbled through life not knowing what to do... I am so so so so extremely grateful for these wonderful musicians and the music they create. Life changing. I hope to meet you all one day to tell you in person. Thank you thank you thank you @TheContortionist
Hogos Bazvarakh What's up with you dude? This guy just told everyone that this music/video lightened up his existence and you have the egotistical nerve to try and take his experience away because it gave him something you could't get for yourself.
I hear you. Me too. This song's lyrics remind me of a few good friends who I watched lose themselves to heroin and my own flirtation with self destruction. Excellent song, but what emotions it brings up are challenging to say the least.
This song takes a whole other dimension when you yourself have a dying parent you can't imagine living without, almost brought a tear to my eye. Thank you The Contortionist.
This hits me so hard. My mother is right at the end of losing her battle with cancer. She is so sick, and has become skin and bones. It's the hardest thing i have ever known. I know the context of this song is different, but it helps me more than you guys will ever know. I feel your pain in these songs Michael.
Fucking awesome song! This album is a bag full of surprises and I can't wait for it to release. Seriously, one of the best experimental prog metal bands out there in the scene now. Much love
Hit me like a ton of fucking all hell - g'damn if it didn't seem like I could identify with the lyrics - not something I do, not sure if I really ever did before not that I think about it. Many think this is about addiction, well if it is not that does not matter still means the same thing to me. All I can say is no one is there to save you, born alone die alone. But really it is awesome music from this band and many others that help keep you going!
What this song is doing for me is reminding me of those moments of pure awe and appreciation for life... and by life I mean the nature of the picture frame we live in
i cannot feel a difference energetically between the heaviest songs & the softest ones. just different languages saying the same things of beauty & pain. still crying either way. always crying. can't listen to any of your albums without so many tears. you all make the most magical music it's insane. thank you so so so much.
I show everyone I know your music and they all LOVE IT! This concert was a birthday gift and while I'm so grateful, I'm sad you guys didn't play longer. Meet me on the smoking patio?
It might seem like this song is about life choices and hardships and etc, but actually this song is dedicated to Mike's favorite trusty *gray hoodie* , which he wears all the time and spends his best moments with, be it shuffling through forests of fall or float in lakewater during dusk.
This song is almost an anthem, an echoing backing track, to some of the most formative years and experiences of my life when I look back on exactly what has led me to where I am today. It’s hard to not picture different parts of my life, of what has led me to where I am, in a cinematographic light when listening to this song. It really is a song that you don’t just remember but one that you carry with you like a memory. Thank you, guys! I love this song!
I think I alone account for at least 500 views so far. I can't tell you how much this song has saved me. It came to me in the most desperate times of need and has healed my soul, made me whole again if you will. Can't wait for these guys to come to Portland, Oregon
I've listened to this band for 7 years. That being said, I hadn't left the house unless it was to go work for about 3 years. A group of people who I never gave the chance to get close with asked me to go Download Festival in the UK. I couldn't say no, as I had the money for it and although I questioned myself for months whether or not I should go after buying the ticket, I thought I wasn't going to pull through, I never do with people. They got me drunk, told me they loved me, and I just felt so happy for the first time in years. After days of drinking and drugs, I lost my friends in the arena and saw System of a Down playing on the mainstage. I carried on walking and saw The Contortionist playing in arena full of 100,000+ people and only about 20-30 was watching these guys in a small closed off tent. I loved it even more though, it's unfortunate they had to play during the mainheadliner but standing there, with years of memories rushing through my head, I'm standing there feeling so happy, with two beers in my hand, feeling like they are playing just for me. these guys made my life feel more than perfect for that moment and I'll never forget that.
Ive never thought of myself as someone having a favorite band, simply because I listen to so much different stuff. But there is not a single band whose releases I anticipate more than yours. In terms of the feels I get, youve even surpassed Tesseract. Thank you. Hope to see you on your European Tour again
i don't understand how y'all made such a simple chord progression sound so dynamic. it sounds as complex as the more technical songs and it blows my mind. so much emotion too. constantly on repeat.
...this band has matured into a sound like no other. Musically, vocally, lyrically... underlying screams or not, im over the fact they may not have that overly intense metal sound like the first two albums. The previous album and three tracks I've heard off the upcoming album are just. Perfect. Really liking the current sound and angle they are taking moving forward. Well done.
Thats what I was wondering. It happens so many times from shot to shot that I think there is a pattern. He's talking about a ghost going back to the other side. So I think it represents switching from one realm to another.
Return to the earth Rain on black clouds Return to the earth Return to the pyre, Wasn't technically perfect Couldn't have been any better Was a fall with it I don't feel any better, And you were so sick You were skin and bones So you fed yourself excuses Just to keep it going Nodding on and on Raining on and on, So keep on slipping 'til the end of the earth Like a ghost sinking into the ground Keep on slipping 'til the end of the earth Now that all these black clouds Keep on raining down, Wasn't technically perfect Couldn't have been any better Falling faster and faster Do you still feel clever? Couldn't stop the momentum Couldn't stop you from crashing Wish that I had seen it coming, And you were so sick You were skin and bones So you fed yourself excuses Just to keep it going Nodding on and on Raining on and on, So keep on slipping 'til the end of the earth Do you remember what was said? You could lose the sleep All of those nauseous things All of you were wrong It didn't take long As we were back to earth Return to the earth And if you come down Return to the earth, So keep on slipping 'til the end of the earth Like a ghost sinking into the ground Keep on slipping 'til the end of the earth Now that all these black clouds Keep on raining
Charles Cosby Starting after the line: "All of those nauseous things" All of you were wrong* It didnt take long* As we were back to earth* thats what im hearing anyways :)
I almost feel like this song is about (in a way) putting Exoplanet and everything about it fully to rest. Exoplanet as a concept album was all about departing from Earth in search of a new home, and "Return To Earth" feels like a way of metaphorically (or perhaps directly) saying that the journey is complete and they're on to something completely new and different.
Every single note gave me chills. You guys have always been awesome, but this is really, really intense. (Holy damn the Dave smith's stuff are good) Keep going guys, wish you the best of luck.
We appreciate all those who are enjoying it so far and apologize to those who aren't. Much love to you all nonetheless!
Michael Lessard the new direction is amazing. Haven't been disappointed with any album so far

I'm digging the spiritual feel you've gone for with the new material and the rediscovered lives. Can't wait to jam to you guys in Houston in October.
Michael Lessard You guys need to be headlining. Loving this album so far
Michael Lessard you don't need to apologise for anything man. So glad you guys have stuck to your guns and followed a new direction. Fuck the haters, everything you've put out feels so fresh and new
This is why I love this band so much.
Suh .. Ssss .. Senpai! o/
Misha Mansoor and their dicks. Amirite?
Oh shit I didn't know you listened to them too xD

I love when metal bands have a loud and audible bass guitar!!! thank you!!!!

it's not metal anymore
I know, right !
Matheus Menezes
Me too.
It is scary how good this band is getting.
Mike Franco word they are Fucking getting better abd betterrrrrrrrrrrr every album another level.
Makes 0 sense how they started out damn near perfect and somehow get even better every release

AHmusic the contortionist has always been more than just music. But yes I still agree with you....this one is really far out. LOVE IT
100% agree!
Nah it's still music. If you like The Contortionist you should see them live.
AHmusic music just feels new again
it's called a video, yes
The rock scene needs more of this. It's called "creativity", and this band has it. FOREVER ON REPEAT.

hope your good man, these lyrics really do hit hard.
New album, please. ❤
I'm just getting into The Contortionist and I'm surprised to see some backlash to this music - this is _brilliant,_ guys.
I know....These guys are brilliant.
Everything theyve ever written is brilliant, although personally i still find Language to be their best by far
the videography is out of this world
Yes, extremely well done
Between this and early grave, the songs helped me navigate my fathers suicide. I greatly appreciate the artistic expression and am still hopeful we will get more songs in the future.
Those synths are phenomenal
Synthsational
"And you were so sick. You were skin and bones. So you fed yourself excuses."
Someone close to me nearly died from anorexia, so this line really jumped out.
Under-rated Band of the decade
Amazing vocalist!
I'm addicted to this song. It's their best work till now in my opinion.
The tone in this song is delicious
Those drums are so beautifully clean - I owe whoever recorded/produced this a pint! Discovered this band tonight and I'm blown away. What skill.
Is it just me or is The Contortionist truly ahead of our time? Incredible..
This band's progression is magnificent.
Can't wait for this to reach 1 million. It deserves all of them (including the thousand I gave it).
This song is absolutely euphoric
It's absolutely one of the best songs I've ever listened to.
Still one of my all time favorite albums 7 years later
AxcepT I feel you brotha
AxcepT ...Keep ur head up bruv...✌🏾🎅🏿👍🏾
You should listen to something that isn't complete shit.
First thing I see when I woke up. What a perfect way to start the day!
i feel the same way i felt when i first discovered tool. This is excellent stuff
Alway drop this on Contortionist videos but checkout Cynic if you haven't already.
Also Tesseract and Skyharbor.
This album is going to be a goddamn spiritual experience. 👍
This is truly incredible. I feel so much.
I feel sorry for all those people that aren't able to enjoy this. Keep on doing what you do best, The Contortionist:
Elapse, evolve, expand, adapt.
amazing
1:46 the hi hat at the upbeat is so genius
Please come back soon dudes. Amazing prog metal band 🔥
Fucking awesome song! This album is a bag full of surprises and I can't wait for it to release. Seriously, one of the best experimental prog metal bands out there in the scene now. Much love
Great to see you guys here!
This song hits very hard. It’s beautiful and during these hard times both comforting and heartbreaking
I’m still listening to this because it’s just so good
Who in the world could not like this.. Its pure ear candy....
just the feelings dude...simply amazing
I cannot get enough of this band. They've changed my entire outlook on music
What this song is doing for me is reminding me of those moments of pure awe and appreciation for life... and by life I mean the nature of the picture frame we live in
This is another level of “floating through the distant universe” kind of music. 🤘🏻
Una absoluta maravilla musical
I don't have words. Just commenting to boost visibility.
Best random click ever. Absolutely a moving song. I love how as the song progresses, the emotions become more raw.
the first minute of this song always gets me. i can't think of anything else that captures loss better than the first 4 lines of this song.
i cannot feel a difference energetically between the heaviest songs & the softest ones. just different languages saying the same things of beauty & pain. still crying either way. always crying. can't listen to any of your albums without so many tears. you all make the most magical music it's insane. thank you so so so much.
These guys are creating their own genre and style...They need more recognition !
This should have been the first single from Clairvoyant. I really dig this.
This is one of the greatness songs I have ever had the pleasure of hearing. Thank you.
my body is getting chills, and im only up to 1 minute. STOP THIS!
I love how his voice is used like another instrument. Can't wait for this album.
Incredible. So modern, so good. Hits the right spot, can't get enough of this amazing music that these dudes put out.
I'm never not amazed by this band. Beyond metal/rock, they always create art.
I show everyone I know your music and they all LOVE IT! This concert was a birthday gift and while I'm so grateful, I'm sad you guys didn't play longer. Meet me on the smoking patio?
This is everything I've ever wanted from music. These chord progressions, truly talented vocals and not just the simplest drum patterns.
Your arrangement and phrasings on every instrument and vocals are incredible. I wish more musicians had the musicality as your group does.
On repeat. Never been this addicted.
I love it when you can almost trip on music, this band does that to me.
Yes! that's so accurate
almost!?, learn to play an instrument and you will.
Christopher Johnson dude, yes their riffs and tone and vibes, all of their music, it's as if the experience of their music was an lsd trip hahaha
Then listen to this on a trip...
Couldn't be any better.
It might seem like this song is about life choices and hardships and etc, but actually this song is dedicated to Mike's favorite trusty *gray hoodie* , which he wears all the time and spends his best moments with, be it shuffling through forests of fall or float in lakewater during dusk.
Clayton, you returned to the earth today...i will always miss you. RIP brother.
I'm sorry
My first tattoo was based off of this song, I'm forever in awe of this band.
This song is beautiful, dark and complex! Also love the reference to the 'Reimagined' music video. The clean vocals fits just perfect on this album
I think I alone account for at least 500 views so far. I can't tell you how much this song has saved me. It came to me in the most desperate times of need and has healed my soul, made me whole again if you will. Can't wait for these guys to come to Portland, Oregon
Still mad slept on tbh
They’re equal with TesseracT with me, but nice to see a fellow brother!
i don't understand how y'all made such a simple chord progression sound so dynamic. it sounds as complex as the more technical songs and it blows my mind. so much emotion too. constantly on repeat.
...this band has matured into a sound like no other. Musically, vocally, lyrically... underlying screams or not, im over the fact they may not have that overly intense metal sound like the first two albums. The previous album and three tracks I've heard off the upcoming album are just. Perfect. Really liking the current sound and angle they are taking moving forward. Well done.
This album has been the best so far, its like language and clairvoyant are separate chapters in a book with this being the next big chapter for them.
Definitely love how his R&B singing works. Perfect.
These guys are on another level. Transcendent.
I can't stop listening to this song...
lovely vibrations
Anyone else wondering if the shots submerged in water & forest are flipped horizontally? Mike's piercing appears to switch nostrils :D
Oh that could be it, that confused me lol
Nope, was too immersed in dat dank music, and will be until I die I reckon.
maybe a visual metaphor to line up with the lyrics?
Thats what I was wondering. It happens so many times from shot to shot that I think there is a pattern. He's talking about a ghost going back to the other side. So I think it represents switching from one realm to another.
I noticed that too, i thought it was just to show it xD
Harmony at 4:09 gives me the chills since this single was released.
Return to the earth
Rain on black clouds
Return to the earth
Return to the pyre,
Wasn't technically perfect
Couldn't have been any better
Was a fall with it
I don't feel any better,
And you were so sick
You were skin and bones
So you fed yourself excuses
Just to keep it going
Nodding on and on
Raining on and on,
So keep on slipping 'til the end of the earth
Like a ghost sinking into the ground
Keep on slipping 'til the end of the earth
Now that all these black clouds
Keep on raining down,
Wasn't technically perfect
Couldn't have been any better
Falling faster and faster
Do you still feel clever?
Couldn't stop the momentum
Couldn't stop you from crashing
Wish that I had seen it coming,
And you were so sick
You were skin and bones
So you fed yourself excuses
Just to keep it going
Nodding on and on
Raining on and on,
So keep on slipping 'til the end of the earth
Do you remember what was said?
You could lose the sleep
All of those nauseous things
All of you were wrong
It didn't take long
As we were back to earth
Return to the earth
And if you come down
Return to the earth,
So keep on slipping 'til the end of the earth
Like a ghost sinking into the ground
Keep on slipping 'til the end of the earth
Now that all these black clouds
Keep on raining
Charles Cosby
Starting after the line: "All of those
nauseous things"
All of you were wrong*
It didnt take long*
As we were back to earth*
thats what im hearing anyways :)
Charles Cosby possibly
Could it have been any better*
Now there are all these black clouds*
do you know the meaning behind this song?
Kelsey Luo probably 💉 related sadly
his friend committed suicide I believe, either that or an OD
This is one of the best songs of the year!
Absolutely incredibly fucking amazing, PAPA BLESS
papa bless!
Papa bless
papa fuckin bless man
Vape Nash and Papa Bless you all.
Matteo Barca bo's in the house!
now let's grab a couple sodie pops.
I'm high music, high pizza
Ridiculously good. Love the direction.
I can't wait to see you guys in October with BTBAM!
Leviathan Skye Same!!!
The Contortionist means a lot for me, thank you
New Album comming?
this song is so hypnotizing can`t stop listening to it again and again
I almost feel like this song is about (in a way) putting Exoplanet and everything about it fully to rest. Exoplanet as a concept album was all about departing from Earth in search of a new home, and "Return To Earth" feels like a way of metaphorically (or perhaps directly) saying that the journey is complete and they're on to something completely new and different.
This song can permeate every fibre of my being.
Guys you left me without words
The song is beautiful and the way you made the video reconnect to reimagined it's fantastic!
I still can't get over how beautiful this song is.
Every single note gave me chills. You guys have always been awesome, but this is really, really intense.
(Holy damn the Dave smith's stuff are good)
Keep going guys, wish you the best of luck.
The more you listen.... the more you discover the beauty and some magical parts of the track.... A great and visionary band (y).
