Jonesy was lured into traffic because it would make him immune to mr gray, which is why mr gray could not kill jonesey. Something about jonesy dying twice in the hospital immunized him. Also, kurts character does explain why aliens look the way that they do at some point, basically reciting what the book sais, trying to fit into what we think aliens would look like.
Yeah my mom didn’t like the book or movie & she was a Stephen King fan in the day. I never actually read the book or watched the movie, but it does seem like the idea someone would come up with while a bit too high (considering it was King’s first post-accident novel). I hope we continue to get more King books in the future & also “Nocturnal Animals”
Laura as woman, do you get uncomfortable whenever Stephen King mentions breasts and periods? That’s one of my biggest criticisms of his writing. He adds unnecessary things.
I don't get uncomfortable, but it definitely annoys me when writers talk about women in a sexist way. King is definitely guilty of this at times, but he also writes some amazing female characters.

I loved the movie for the mind palace stuff but the filler and the stuff with the dog is more than enough for me to never read the book 😂
