@@kvernesdotten Yeah, I tried it. It worked on a few knives but doesn;t work on the really damaged ones so I decided to stick to my Jap wheel method. It still gets me great results.
@@CodyCook-m1i I almost got a sponsorship from a company that wanted to send me a cheap Chinese knick off but I decided against it because I didn't wanted to be associated with garbage products.
Just prepped a cigar with a similar looking knife. A Schrade I bought in 1979. US made, waiting on a roo strop.
Very nice. Super edge. Always amazed at the edge the kangaroo strop gives. Your secret sauce.
It really is. I want everyone to have one. I have 35 business days to wait before hearing back about my export permit. So this year I should know.
Is there a reason or preference for the 38º on that knife?
@@kilam41171 yeah, pocket knives have a tough life. 30 degrees is more for kitchen knives. 40-50 degrees is more common for pocket and hunting knives.
@@iSharpen Thank you. :)

Did you ever post this secret new serrations method you were teasing the other day?
@@kvernesdotten actually no, I didn't but if you go to the @burrfection channel, you'll see it there.
@@iSharpen Oh the sponge thing?

@@iSharpen Oh okay makes sense!
Obviously the Tormek is unmatchable but I wanted to see if you had any other brands you’ve tried in the past?
