Not to be a grammar Nazi, but for some reason, the creators of English decided to make the pronunciation of colonel to be "kernel"

Comes from the French word coronelle so that's why lel.
And thx m8 I thought that maybe its Colonel in the British pronunciation or American, but it's kernel in both of them.
