My parents had deck with wraparound stairs around three sides. It really cut down on the useable area because most of the deck was effectively at the top of the stairs, where nobody wants to put their chairs.
This is really just a staircase leading to the paver patio area below. Will likely have some potted plants on it or one small chair but won’t be utilized as a deck
Why would you want to separate the joists from the joist hangers? And why install them upside down?
this deck should easily outlast the house
