I just finished watching the video. WOW!! I'm a beginner so practicing on a petal is such a good idea. It takes the fear out of drawing and coloring the whole flower. I just received your book. I'm so excited to get started.
wonderful presentation!! question.... the CdA pallet you are using, is that paper, plastic... ???? i havent seen these advertised anywhere, where could i get one?
Wendy, I've noticed that you and other botanical artists draw plants in lighter shades than the reference plant in front of you. Is this common? Does it appear lighter because of how your lighting renders in your videos or is this standard practice?
I’m amazed that you can go over the Polychromos again with water colour as they’re oil based? Got the book, can’t wait to get started!

@@drawbotanical I also ordered the pencil sharpener in a box. Sadly to say I can't figure out how to open it so I can sharpen my pencils :(
Very beautiful, informative and interesting! Thank you so much, Wendy! :)

So much good information. Love the new book.
I too have just received your book, although I have Prismacolour Premier coloured pencils.

End result is not the same colour match...?
😍 thanks 🙏🏻
Loved your work and your explanation is very clear! What brush are you using ?
Volume is too low on your videos
