This is exactly what I’ve been looking for…So informative and clearly displayed with representative pieces of art that allow us to grasp the styles and the evolution of the art of botanical illustration.
Thank you for so much joy!

I'm trying to figure out how to get started but not as seriously as they do it. More like play to draw flowers.

Very well done! Bravo! But I wonder why the Codex Vindobonensis (Anicia Juliana's Dioscorides) is not described, being a very important document with plants illustrated on vellum (I° cent. AD), as well as Pietro Andrea Mattioli, (I SeiLibri di Pedanio Dioscoride Anazarbeo...), with the wonderful drawings made by Giorgio Liberale da Udine and engraved on wood by Gustav Meyerpeck (1568)!

Why do Americans drop the H when using the word Herbal or herb. Choosing the french ‘erb pronunciation is odd for english speakers. Hat, hen, hip, hotel and hugging all aspirate the H so why do Americans do this? It grates and i think they believe it is the proper way to say it?

in Yorkshire a lot of H sounds are dropped, regions do different things with pronunciation - get over it!
