  • Higher education is a path to a better living and a better life - but only if students are about to complete college and earn a valuable degree or credential. Today, at least 39 million Americans have stopped out with some college credit but no degree. Gaps in completion have continued to widen along racial and economic lines. Students deserve well-supported pathways to earn a valuable degree that sets them on the path to strong post-college outcomes.
IHEP advances student-centered, data-informed, and equity-focused approaches that support students to - and through - higher education. These approaches include everything from need-based aid and meeting basic needs to increasing institutional capacity and implementing degree mining.
In this video, hear IHEP alum Jennifer Pocai outline why IHEP champions degree completion.
