As the term implies, pressing the I and III buttons together clears out any pre-existing programs for all 3 buttons. The process works! It took several attempts before working on one of my 3 garage doors. I'm not sure why. I never altered from the instructions in the video suggesting the issue is/was with my garage door opener or with the car. No issue whatsoever with the video. Very succinct and clear. Thanks!

Thanks that worked for me. I think I can explain why this one worked for me while the others did not. You reset the memory with the one, three combo. Then you use a remote and setting a button to allow the car to remember the remote signal. Then you extra step you added that most guides dont have using the car and garage opener allows the car to link with the garage door opener. So the cars gets a signal and if that signal is different from the actual remote as some people seem to have issues with will be connected directly with the garage door
Thanks for the video! You mentioned you can pair with your community gate remote as well. Do you know how it works if you’re unable to hit a “learn” button on the community gate unit?
Good job, showing closeup view of mirror buttons and opener Learn button. But if you lost your remote then you need to get one to program! 👍 2 other videos from Lexus dealers weren’t as good as this one.
@@WorldofTech Thanks to you. I've done many of them, but you did an additional step which I think was the main difference. I even did it from the outside of the house, backwards LOL. I closed the garage, ran inside, hit the learn button, ran outside hit the button, it opened, then hit the button again to close it. Then a final time to open it to make sure it worked HAHA. Get my steps in!
