    I like how these units keep getting better and better. If they could come up with a lower wattage glow plug version it would be compatible on pretty much any power station.

    • @johnnysweekends
      @johnnysweekends  8 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      It would be helpful if they could lower the start up draw just a little while the glow plug is on. Would love a small propane forced heater. Some thing small that uses less power than RV furnace but use on board tanks

I can work around these issues BUT with the temp is set lower then ambient, the fan speed/heating lowers way down as it should works great however it stays running on low regardless of where the temp is set, and eventually get's TOO HOT!!!

    They probably keep the fuel inlet a little high to create a sump for contaminants.

    the only thing i wish it had longer ac/dc cable. when using while camping, it limits the usage to plug to portable power station instead of dual battery set up in our vehicle. yes i can get the extension cable but not ideal. also not crazy about having the ac/dc box as its not water resistant so have to keep it covered when used outside of the tent

    • @johnnysweekends

  • @kengeroo
    @kengeroo 7 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

    • @johnnysweekends

      Yesss!! Get a Tupperware tub about the same size or slightly bigger but not a deep one. Shallow style ..
      Flip it up side down and cut the ends to fit the heater hose coming out and some holes on the other end for air going in.
      Also elevate it off the ground maybe a small little table or or 2x4s in case of heavy rains.
      The tub works great

      They both have a couple advantages. This one is quicker to get to the engine and do stuff if needed. Verses the metal outside cover has screws that all need to come off.
      Plus a tall skinny profile you will need some add on foot pegs or it will blow over. Plus needs to be lifted anyway.
      The app is way better and talks better on the Hcalory so that’s actually nice. The other had connection issues but the remote did work.

      Hello thank you we primed it but that was after we emptied the tank so we can put in the fuel filter and we refill the tank it had been on already, so maybe we didn’t need to prime it twice after it primed we saw something leaking from the exhaust pipe my husband smelled it and it’s diesel leaking from the exhaust pipe

      By the way, thank you so much regarding the primer not starting we actually just unplugged it plugged it back in and then it responded but was still concerned about the fuel leaking through the exhaust. We’re letting it run and see if it will just burn it off.

      @Gibbowr80 it should just burn it off once it gets running but will probably smoke a lot for a couple mins

      lol…you still need options, I have plenty of solar and batteries and once you have enough cloudy or rainy or snow days your gonna need items like these or yes a gas generator.
