Tasty is probably like "This David Seymour guy exposes all our recipes. How to stop him from showing the world not all our recipes are as simple as we present them to be? Right, add cream cheese to every recipe until he can't take it anymore and stops." Don't let tasty win David.
buzzfeed kinda admits that their recipes aren't as simple as it seems through the "behind tasty" series but honestly i really respected them more because of this. buzzfeed is not just a "youtube channel" but it's a company and the effort they put on just to entertain people is AMAZING

I think he tried to make something with cream cheese and it came out horribly, or he just doesn’t like it. I used to know, but I guess I forgot idk.

I used the exact same recipe for regular sized cinnamon rolls. Some notes would be when you add the yeast you HAVE TO mix the yeast into the milk and butter mixture, also don't use the cream cheese frosting and just make some standard glaze since cream cheese can be overpowering.

I made this when it first came out. The cream cheese icing was so gloopy because you put it on at room temperature. When you put it on hot, the icing melts and kinda soaks into the cinnamon roll. It's really good like that!

You should've creamed the cream cheese with the vanilla before, added butter and milk slowly while mixing, and only when there were no lumps, sifted in the powdered sugar in batches. Or better yet, go back and forth between butter/milk and the sifted sugar. That way you can avoid most of the lumps.
In Sweden we just mix water and powdered sugar into a glaze sort of and drizzle that on the bun.

I would love to see David make the Bacon Mac 'N' Cheese Pot Pie, I made it last weekend and it sure was interesting to say the least.
I made this...it was nice but ran out of flour so my yeast was in the dough over night so it ended up tasting like nail varnish...also we had to use loads of flour cuz it just wasn't working (it was so sticky)

+David Seymour Yo. You should have mixed the yeast in the butter-milk-sugar mixture. Just because Tasty people do it doesn't mean you have to! They do it for representative purposes. So do it right and you won't find any chunks of yeast anymore.
He said that you need to grab baking soda but grabbed baking powder 😂
In Germany we make the glaze with lemon juice and powdered sugar but you have to be careful with the juice. If you use too much juice the glaze will become too watery

Activate the yeast before dumping it in to avoid that, just add the yeast to a little bit of luke warm water and let it sit till it foams up
