I had a UPS truck in my town lose its muffler and it sounded awesome. I think it had an old big block Chevy. For some reason it didn't get fixed for months. The UPS guy liked it

My dad has a 2018 Chevy van 2500 and it sound really good
Our RV sold for $13500. Had the 6.0. 11000miles. Needed tires and some electrical fixes.

It might have been loud, but it sounded good with no mufflers. The Flowmaster Fx mufflers sounded good too. It is that big ol' V8 for you.

I think it needs bigger pipes at least from the muffler rearward. The tips were too big for the pipe being used. 3 inch pipe would make it deeper sounding, and everyone can love that tone.
My Opinion its to raspy. He should've put some 40s on it. Would've sounded a lot better with that cam.

Man I've been trying to find a solid chevy express van that's not beat up too bad. Any suggestions when looking at one? It's really crazy man it seems like they all have super high mileage or are just completely destroyed with dents and what not. probably going to end up just financing one tbh

Maybe look at the passenger vans instead. They are less beaten up. That's what I'm doing! But I do need the extra seats and I prefer having windows

Wasted money for only 7 db less. Definitely needed some mufflers instead of resonators.
Imo sounds like ass....especially for a work truck. Maybe some small case Maggie's or borlas would smoothen it out a bit with more of a refined tone. Maybe I'm getting older now tho too

@@IAM_HC I have no clue, i will ask the mechanic tomorrow. but there are also Ford chassis trucks with the boat anchor of a 6.8 V-10, some with a 5.9 Cummins, and some have a 4.8 LS. all of them but the Cummins have the Borla exhaust
He must not get a lot of work in gated communities I like the roar of a loud ride but I wouldn't want my work van roaring into every customers driveway

@@bodebode903 an x pipe or an h pipe are used to equalize the pressure between the dual exhaust pipes, I don’t think they make much of a difference but other people seem to think so

lq4 is a cool motor. very good platform to build on. And why cam it? because it's cheap, especially if you tune yourself. The lq4 is a dog in stock form, but wakes up a LOT with a cam and tune.
