Hi, my is Franklin and I Just got a 2011 Grand Cherokee like that one with the same radio (Mygig RES) I went to the junkyard and found a similar but upgraded touch screen radio (Mygig RBZ) and I thought it will be just plug and play but my steering wheel control doesn’t work plus I can’t set up the clock either, any help is appreciated, thank you.
OK, I am a 29-year-old woman with two kids and no experience with anything like this but my radio is out. I have ADHD and music. It's definitely something that is calming. I don't care what mood I'm in. It just makes things better. Specifically a lot of face I need to replace the radio cause it does not work at all like the stations don't work the auxiliary nothing and it will work very rarely and it's usually when it's super cold outside, the air conditioning on the passenger side does not blow cold air will blow hot air. What do you recommend to get to be able to replace the radio possibly the speakers if I can find some that are decent and not going to stick out of the car if you know what I mean specifically the radio I don't want to stick out. I want to look flesh and natural like you do it, I also want to possibly insert a camera, but I don't wanna do any of this until I have all of the stuff I may need. I only have to do it once to the professionals I can't afford to do that and the Internet and hopefully I can do a research to know what I'm doing for the most part and if little things pop up here and there I will be able to get through it, any tips or guidelines would be awesome and any tips on what products to use I have a 2011 jeep grand Cherokee Laredo hopefully this whole message makes sense. I use my microphone to text because texting it all out is a huge thing.😂😂
Typically there's a ground within the harness on both ends. If there's only one coming off the radio, ground to screw or tap ground. Which would bypass a few things depending on your radio.
Did the exact same job man, video was super helpful. Thanks!
Thanks man, huge help!
