Another fan art series of mine is going! This is the episode 20 of Pokemon Gold! This starts a new arc in johto with Whitney and Jasmine in olivine, going for the secret potion to heal Ampharos and the sick miltanks on moo moo milk farm.

Knowing Silver and Kris end up together as stated at the end of Pokémon Red Fan Movie, I am willing to bet that she got him the help he needed to deal with his past. While we know he doesn't have contact with Giovanni, I predict that Silver will either a.) Go no contract with Arianna or b.) Have little contact with her.

This combination of the lighthearted fan service half, with the mature and dark undertone of killing and bribes. I'm just amazed at how you're able to create such awesome storytelling with this series.

The best stories have that mix. If it's just jokes, it's kinda fun but not meaningful. If it's always dark, it is unrelenting and never gets brighter for contrast. The blend, then, is the best of both worlds. Pedro is phenomenal at that.
I just love how somehow Gold's outfit is as much fanservice-y as Whitney's. 🤣Cool episode. I agree with all the people who said it was a good idea to link the radio waves and Ampharos' sickness. Silver keeps being one of the most interesting characters of your series. 3:08 The return of the good old Team Rocket bribery. It gives me flashbacks of the Celadon Arc.^^ Hurrah for Jasmine, my favorite Johto gym leader. I confess I'm curious to know if the picture of May and Jasmine is a nod to a canon Easter Egg I don't know.

Knowing what happened to Silver in the last episode and how traumatizedhe is with Feraligator killing(?) Vilplume, this is the beginning of the turning point for him (just love how subtle it is). I am hoping we will see his battle with Lance during the Mahogany town arc and maybe a rematch between Arianna to finally settle the score in the Radio Tower.
Plus the radio waves being used to make Miltank and Ampharados sick is genius. Kinda wish they had included that in the games.

Whitney is really a blessing for the eyes and the views of this series, even Gold is pretty sexy with his farmer outfit and he was so cool with the punch he threw at Silver.

I love the little ibteractions between the traibers and their Pokemon and the Pokemon with each other. Helps them feel like more than just animals.
This was a great episode! Not sure who the poke center lady was, but I'm sure it's a reference to something I haven't watched. Also damn, the pic of Jasmine and May was adorable! If you end up deciding to do a gen 3 series (way off, I'm sure, and no pressure to actually do one, of course) I'd love to see that backstory!

Great episode and the sound editing was really well done it took me a few moments to notice it was there hence pokemon hearing before humans and trainers very nice touch. And I love that Silver and Kris are starting to develop a bit of a relationship. Keep up the great work you are doing great.

I love how interconnected everything is. It just makes so much sense that the mutiple sick pokémon were caused by the radio tower signals as well as messing feraligatr.
Silver's character arc has always been my favorite of all pokémon games and you've somehow given it more depth. I'm really rooting for Silver and feraligatr here. Poor thing. It's good to see him finally open up to other people about the shit he's going through. One step at a time.

I'll reiterate that I love how the radio waves is playing into the sick Miltank and Ampharos you come across. I also like the fact that Whitney is also stepping up to help the sick pokemon.

All these connections to the radio tower just make so much sense its sad the official games never though this far out to make the connection but yeah love the fanservice and each episode showing Whitneys character is just amazing to watch shes not just the bratty crybaby shes wholesome strong amd shes got the goods im excited for that beach arc though wonder what kinda fun will be had on the beaches in Olivine and then in Cianwood not to mention potential hilarity with the whirlpools neqr whirl island makes me wonder if a certain guardian of the ocean that once lived elsewhere will make any type of cameos

Silver’s character become more developed as he tried to warn Kris about his feraligatr grow to be more terrifying. It would be nice for Silver to tag along with them but his character is to be a lone wolf, at least he did tell them the information about Radio tower that they need to check up on

Parts that I love:
1. That whole part of Gold/Ethan, Kris, and Whitney all helping out at the MooMoo Farm, with Gold/Ethan having to wear the farm outfit complete with the bell. XD
2. Gold/Ethan punching the SNOT out of Silver for saying the following in-game: "Jet let sick Pokémon go." The latter had it coming anyways. :)
3. The return of that bag limitation back then prior to Generation IV. XD
4. Jasmine. X3
And while on the subject of Jasmine... love that part near the end of when she was looking at the picture of her with May when they were both Best Friends.
Just wondering.... if like say of course a Generation III fan series ever becomes a reality (outside of that one time test pilot episode you did a while back or so) with May being the lead, think you can touch upon that between May and Jasmine again? ^^
Either way... I so look forward to the next episode and from what I saw at the end: BRING ON MORE FANSERVICE! :D

Yeah, your animation skills have gotten a lot better over the years. Those jiggle physics were top notch. And even discounting the honri, they all looked great in their overalls!
Slowpoke's future evolution into a King is being so heavily built up that I expect it to be one of the most emotional episodes.
So, that's how Pokémon, like Miltank got affected by that deadly radio wave not only it's forcing the Pokémon to evolve, but it's making them get sick too

Alright with a new episode coming out tomorrow i finally found time to make a very late comment. At 0:13 lass Dana gives thunder stones but only in Crystal, Heartgold, and Soulsilver. In the games Moo Moo Farms only has one sick Miltank that can be heal using 7 (oran) berries. After the Miltank is healed the farmer will sell moo moo milk. In GSC, the player can only buy one at a time and will not be allowed another if they already have one in their bag. This was changed in the remakes where you can buy as many as you want without restriction. At 1:03 Kris can be seen wearing an outfit very similar to Lyra's outfit from the remakes. In the Pokemon Adventures manga Crystal, Kris's manga counterpart, actually does wear Lyra's clothes after being forced to by her mother. 3:03 as mentioned last episode the Radio Tower was never used to spread the evolution waves in the games, it is instead implied that the Rocket Hideout was being used as a small scale experiment that would later be used with the Radio Tower once they broadcasted their messages of Team Rocket's revival and reunited with Giovanni. 3:17 The good rod is the best fishing rod you'll get until the postgame. 3:21 this Voltorb will have a different nickname and held item depending on the game. In the originals it's Volty with a przcure berry while in the remakes its Billy with a cheri berry. The Olivine lighthouse has no elevator in the originals just a series of holes to jump down through this is changed in the remakes. 3:39 as someone who played Crystal after both Heartgold and Soulsilver, i feel this pain. Luckily it not as bad as gen 1. 4:19 alright probably the biggest shock of the episode for me. I wasn't expecting a nod to gen 3 but here it is. According to Ruby and Sapphire, the gen 3 protagonist's family was originally from Johto specifically Olivine city. This has actually lead some people to theorizes that Norman is related to Whitney in some way due to both being normal type gym leader from Johto. This was a fun episode and I'm really interested on how things will progresses with Silver and Kris especially after his encounter with Ariana. As always the little details such as Marill's face at 0:53 and Whitney also wanting some fan service at 1:19 just adds some fun moments to this series and are part of the reason I'm excited for these episodes. I'm looking forward to the next episode and as always I'm hoping that we do see Lyra appear as herself in a cameo rather than just a set of clothes for Kris. But I'll take what i can get, the female Johto protagonists are underrated.

Jasmine was always my favorite, she modest dress, but her steel type are awesome, she has no gym trainers just her. I always wondered growing up if she was a new gym leader by lore. Because even brock had gym trainers.
