Twin turbos are the go! Nothing like going down the 1320 and feeling boost come on and sling shot by the competition; and you can upgrade your turbos at your ready.
If you’re drag racing or roll racing I say go turbo. You can set up boost by gear and keep power levels where you still hook. They do lag depending on size but you can bump them. Track or autocross I say na or roots because you need the instant use of torque for coming out of corners. I would do a turbo setup but I love how my car sounds with the kooks headers so I’ll either stay na or go roots blower. I would not turbo the 289 it’s kind of hard to make carb setups run right with turbos. And of course it will blow. I say twincharge Miley and have something unique and do a big na coyote build for the 68. I want a high compression cammed coyote making close to 600 wheel and you don’t see those on TH-cam.
Wait for 5.0 turbo setup. Holley management. Cams will get you the HP Turbos will add maybe another 150 on a low boost setting.. maybe more depending on heads, intake injectors. Try to tune just for pump gas...You already know you can have better or more HP with E85 but gas mileage will suffer...You seem to want a fast cruiser daily driver.. stick with pump gas tune.

Under mounts turbos isn’t a very good because when driving in the rain water splashes in them and rocks can get in the turbines and if they are low they can drag going across speed bumps! Ask me how I know lol I had under mounts and after messing them up I sold it and went to high mounts and never had a problem after that
Hey Nate is that a gen 1 coyote? Because gen 2 would be over 500hp stock with e85 upgrade. I mean blackbird was stock motor on e85 and it put down 528hp. Then put a pro charger on her with e85 831hp turned her down to 747hp for safe driving because gen 2 handle about 750 without doing certain upgrades for heads.
Bro with full bolt on and tune with a coyote you can get close to 600s. Those turbos aren't really gonna do anything for you on the coyote. Put that coyote in there and let someone send you something big, that going push you to 1000-1200 horsepower. Get rid of that 289 bro, coyote is where its at and you know this maaaannnnnn
