Exactly - I heard this in 2005 on the way to work & couldn't remember which song it was - I've been wondering all these years - it's this bass line I remember
What makes The Cure so remarkable is that their concert performances actually improve their album music. In a 1980’s dominated by electronic and synth (love New Order, Pet Shop Boys and Depeche Mode) The Cure is a true rock and roll band with a unique and remarkable sound. This is such a great song that they could easily push this out to 10 minutes or more and I would be quite happy.
Sound fantastic ,these blokes ,live with this great under under the radar gem, even after all these years! They still got it!!! Sad I don’t even remember 80s gem
I’m a classic rock, 80’s metal guy but The Cure have always been my guilty pleasure. They create a wall of sound like vintage Yes, Genesis, King Crimson, Rush. Masters of sonic perfection.
I'm a classic rock and I love metal, new wave , old rock'roll and music classic. Emotions are in most of every kind of music. Sorry for my English speaking.
You said that like in an Austin Powers voice and so true!!!! "I've never seen so many cuts in my life...Doctor Evil" . You are right!!! Thanks for that! Love it.
Oh, it's opening time down on Fascination Street So let's cut the conversation and get out for a bit Because I feel it all fading and paling and I'm begging To drag you down with me, to kick the last nail in Yeah, I like you in that, like I like you to scream But if you open your mouth, then I can't be responsible For quite what goes in or to care what comes out So just pull on your hair, just pull on your pout And let's move to the beat like we know that it's over If you slip going under, slip over my shoulder So just pull on your face, just pull on your feet And let's hit opening time down on Fascination Street So pull on your hair, pull on your pout Cut the conversation, just open your mouth Pull on your face, pull on your feet And let's hit opening time down on Fascination Street Down on Fascination Street Down on Fascination Street Down on Fascination Street On Fascination Street
Always loved hearing this at the DANCE clubs in the late 80’s/early 90’s. This ,”The Rain”, and “She sells sanctuary “, both by The Cult…….were some great rock songs played regularly along with all that excellent “club” music. Brings me back!

Amo este concierto y en especial esta canción. Una de mis favoritas, el bajo y la batería suena súper genial y claro la voz y guitarras también... Simplemente impresionante !!! 🇵🇪🇵🇪👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽😎😎
I have been lucky, seen them 14 times live and they never disappoint, ever. Their music is so much better live and their concerts are long 3 hours on average every time I've seen them sometimes longer.
The most 80's Cure The Cure could be doing The Cure stuff in the 80's doing The Cure stuff while making a video for MTV doing The Cure Stuff...while doing Tours and sayinf F that old video.
Such a pity that the original MV upload has a gazillion views. The 1987 video looks like it was made by lifeless heroin addicts and, to my ears, this version has better audio quality along with a great live performance. This should be the official upload. Period.
This bass line plays in my head everyday no matter what I’m doing or thinking. Love it. Iconic.
You should mix it up a bit 🤣 Maybe with a bit of New Dawn Fades.
Exactly - I heard this in 2005 on the way to work & couldn't remember which song it was - I've been wondering all these years - it's this bass line I remember
yeah that's right
TH-cam deleted a "disintrgration" live which was an amazing video. I saved it. From this set.
I love this bass line, the whole melody is amazing. But bass just incredible
The bassline is f#@king killer!
just jammed it on ma strat
@@dantelinden986 It's just Simon.
It's true👌👍
An improvement over the studio original… somehow
So simple and yet so catchy and driving.
Sixty two year old me loves The Cure every bit as much as 19 year old me.
What about 65 year old you?
I’m 62 never grow old!!!! Still sounds fantastic.
Buongustai!
Eu também
That bass line, I can have playing on a repeating loop, and I will never EVER get sick of it
I like the way Robert says at the end "Fascination Straße", 5:08 just to feel closer to German audience. :)

I like the “Mixed Up” version, very long. And they emphasize that bass line…
Agree! 👍🏽
Sound fantastic ,these blokes ,live with this great under under the radar gem, even after all these years! They still got it!!! Sad I don’t even remember 80s gem

You should see them live. It's dark and very very heavy.
Stephen Craig would love to! They are original and epic
@@stephencraig5938 Yes, very heavy, more guitars than on their albums. And: Never saw a concert under three hours long. Worth EVERY cent

You know good music sir! Genesis is my all time favorite.
So beautifully atmospheric...God bless Robert Smith and the cure!
This song consistently gives me goose pimples..totally unique and terrific..one of my Greats..the live version is Extreme
Disintegration is one of the best albums of all time , by any band. detail detail detail.

Fokin great Guitar has Robert.
Greatest band all time.
SonnyASMR All Time Best!!!!

I've never seen so many cuts in my life...
Atmos Games uh, watch ac/dc No Bull dvd. Has so many cuts it gives me a headache.
You said that like in an Austin Powers voice and so true!!!! "I've never seen so many cuts in my life...Doctor Evil" . You are right!!! Thanks for that! Love it.
Tim pop's live videos days are gone unfortunately
@Ailef Lo_Emi the constant switching between camera angles
Cuts in conversation?

On Fascination Street
sono del 74 e la mia musica è questa senza se e senza ma che privilegio avere vissuto gli anni 80 in tutti i sensi 🔝
I've watched this one so many times over the years and still love it, especially in my car full blast!!
That Bass!!!
Yess!
It's just Simon Gallup ❤
I bought the DVD for this concert back when I was in high school. It was new at that time. And I wasn’t old either. Now I’m old. It still kicks ass. 😂
This is my heaven, my paradise , nothing beats that...Thanks
Wow. Just wow
Gawd!!! KRAZY INTRO!!! EPICAL!!! CLASSICAL!!! MAJESTICAL !! WONDERFUL!!!
Always loved hearing this at the DANCE clubs in the late 80’s/early 90’s. This ,”The Rain”, and “She sells sanctuary “, both by The Cult…….were some great rock songs played regularly along with all that excellent “club” music. Brings me back!
La voce di Robert è unica ed è pure perfetta per i Cure
Absolute stunning, Robert Smith is a genius
And Simon of course
Today i get sick...and this is my cure. At night. Allright. I need the cure.
Here we come on Exit 04.07.2019. yeah
Unbelievable MUSIC!!! Aliens!!! The greatest band forever and ever!!!
It's so f good 👍
It's just genious, it's just Bob & Simon!
I will love this band for ever, fantastic musicians . Thank you .
awesome
I could not love this live performance more. Wish this song could have lasted longer
Para mí ,la mejor canción de the cure.
The cure forever!
The CURE IS THE SHIT!!! REAL INSTUMENTS!!! PERHAPS, ARGUABLY THE BEST SERIOULSY!!! THEN AGAIN, THE BEST OF ITS KIND 4 SURE!!!
Keep feeling fascinated by the Cure.
I will pay huge $ to watch them live before i burned out.
Have you seen them live?
I've worn my DVD 📀 out on the Berlin trilogy. All their top songs they wanted to play them all in 3 nights as perfect as possible. Pretty good.
The Music is what I like most
'And just move to the beat; like we both know that it's over....'
Yeah, THAT lyric was the theme to more than one romance in the way back
Heard this the other day. Just wow! The Cure got down 😎
До сих пор, сука, мурашки по коже, когда слушаю
Loudest show I've ever experienced. And I've seen them all :)
Amazing
слушал их ещё в 1982 году аж не верится
Definitely, I fell in love with this song and its video. I love Robert's gestures.
yes !
From one of my favorite CDs back in the day, 90s: “Mixed Up”
i will get
Gimme a break, that' shit Cure. It's off of Disentagration originally.
*EXPLOSIVE*
forever a bop
Like in their 50s here, but still *showing the younger bands how to do it!!*
Oh it's opening time

En donde fue ese concierto Bro?
Lo mejor de los 90's
Well it doesn't get any better
Demais, Cure é inigualável
Omg wow
Mindblowing performance and Simon is hands down THE sexiest man to exist.
Absolutely true!! The sexiest ever!! 😍
Melhor de todos os tempos
Minha banda favorita ❤
Hermoso tema musical!
Can't compete with the version on Entreat with Porl and Boris doing their thing
Ed Bowers showed me this band in high school and he was a genius!!
Ed Bowers was my dad, so I really hope it was a different Ed Bowers ... all the best, mate.
The Cure is the best (live) band ever
I have been lucky, seen them 14 times live and they never disappoint, ever. Their music is so much better live and their concerts are long 3 hours on average every time I've seen them sometimes longer.
That bass tho
A rather remarkable performance.
check out "Homesick" therafter
The CURE Play Music For The Heaven ......
Smith is on point singing and so his band gladly.
this could easily be a song from the Church.
Geil!
He changes the last "Fascination Street" to Fascination Straße, which is German for street. This is live in Berlin. Deft.
The most 80's Cure The Cure could be doing The Cure stuff in the 80's doing The Cure stuff while making a video for MTV doing The Cure Stuff...while doing Tours and sayinf F that old video.

Yes

The Bass.
It’s all about the bass
точно знаю здорововская песня
Robert Smith, is The Smith!!!!
Начало немного не понравилось. Я эту песню очень люблю. Но на этом видео словно аппаратура не налажена. Но потом хорошо разогнали. Класс.
i just wanna see how where hes putting his hand for the bassline. the tabs ive looked at dont sound the same.
blazeisnotonfire don't trust tabs, grow your ear instead. Play it over and over again along, alone or with friends.
Low E string only: 8 - 11 - 8 - 10 - 4 - 13 - 3 - 6 repeat
Always worked for me.
That's the way I play it and it sounds fine
What is this guitar Smith is playing I WANT ONE!!!
Eastwood I think
He’s playing a National Valpro. Eastwood make copies of that 60’s guitar.
What is that wild looking guitar Robert is playing?
Love the bass rhythm but damn, too have to play that same bass lick over and over and over, whew....
Old men do not need rules.
What bass is simon using
"Keep me dizzy camera" version....
This recording is much slower than it should have played. They dropped the BPM at least 10, from other live performances
Put on your face/Put on your feet
too much cuts
@Ailef Lo_Emi The perspective of the camera is changing to often!
