Personally, I wish the designers added an option to turn off power-ups if you don't want to race with power-ups. For me, I find races more fun without power-ups where it's just pure racing where it feels realistic. Since the AI is not challenging enough to race against, I feel like the power-ups makes it easy and without power-ups I feel like it would be a bit harder where they would keep up with you without power-ups. One time I saw that one of the AI's were actually harder while keeping up with you since that AI hasn't got hit by any of the weapons since he was keeping up with me. I want to see that with all the AI's like that without power-ups.
@@corbinpyles Yeah true main thing I hate is when I have 100 rings then they always use that power up were it 1 hits me and sends my rings back down to 0
Yeah, that's a pain in the butt. When I play the game, I always use the invisible gear part where your character is a ghost, and they're invincible to damage. Because I like to protect myself from getting hit by the weapons. I also use it to act like I'm racing without power-ups since I can't get hit by the weapons.
Yeah, I like that about Free Riders. You can definitely use those character type shortcuts with anyone, like switch to the left side for speed shortcuts, then switch to the other side for like fly shortcuts or power shortcuts. That's interesting since you get to use 2 different character type shortcuts to see which one works best for you instead of having to play as your preferred character.

Don’t you have to have an iso of this game to even play with a controller? But I don’t have ittt😭
