    Hey! Thanks for the video! Short question: how much should I tighten the screw after adding the washer? When I tighten a lot, mirror holds the gas handle. When I leave it lose, it rotates after a while

    • @elchinolavida
      @elchinolavida  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Mine is fully tightened and it doesn’t affect the throttle. There is a spacer that came with mine that helps prevent the mirror’s arm from touching the throttle. If yours doesn’t have it, go to the hardware and get one.

    Great video! Question, though, I had bar ends on my previous bike and I wanna do it again on my new Svartpilen 200. However, on my previous bike, the throttle would snag on the bar ends when tightened them, so I reinstalled my stock side mirrors not long after. Do these bar ends have enough clearance to not interfere with the twisting of the throttle?

    • @elchinolavida
      @elchinolavida  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It comes with a spacer that will prevent contact between end of bar and bracket of mirror. I got this from JGZMOTO in Lazada.

    How did you get the thread of the handlebar end weights out? I can unscrew the weights, but I can't get the threaded part out of the tube so that I can then get the highside mirror spreaders into the handlebars.... Unfortunately, my dealer is closed today and wanted to screw it on today...

    • @elchinolavida

      I didn’t need to remove anything out of the handlebar tube, bro. The screw that came with the mirrors, fits perfectly to the stock bar end threads.

    How did you stop the mirror from moving when you use the throttle?

    • @elchinolavida
      @elchinolavida  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      There is a spacer provided that fits the end of the bar’s circumference only, this does not touch any part of the throttle.
      I’ve heard horror stories of bad bar end mirror installs where the mirrors lock up the throttle during rides.
      That’s why I made this video to help out the riders out there.

    Great video! You do excellent work and make this look easy. Does the new mirrors give you better visibility or was it just for looks? Also, why did you select the brand of mirrors that you got vs going to Husqvarna and looking at what they offered? I am just wondering if you think it was a better product? BTW I have the 701 Svartpilen. What do you think of the tank bag is it worth it in terms of storage and quality? Did you think of getting an after market tank bag. Thanks

    • @elchinolavida
      @elchinolavida  2 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      I would say the that 60% looks than visibility. As you can see my riding habit from my other videos, I like looking back to make sure no one is behind me before switching lanes.
      The Husqvarna store here does not have much accessories during the time I bought these mirrors, to be honest these only cost roughly $10/pair. The Rizoma from one of the bike stores here sells EACH mirror for around $200 USD, I won’t spend $400 for something I rarely look at 😉. Although, I got everyone’s opinion on safety.
      I love the 701 and congratulations that you have that. We did not have that back when I was shopping for a bike 🏍. I think there is only 1 or 2 of those in the entire country.
      It’s coincidental that you asked me about the Tank Bag coz yesterday I accidentally came across a seller who has that for $500 USD. I don’t like to have a bag on my tank, I think it ruins the looks that I’m going for and I don’t even like carrying a backpack while riding. I will not put a storage box either. If I can’t fit the things I have in my messenger bag when riding, then I might consider using my car or SUV. I have $5 reflective nets on my bike 🏍 that holds down the small items I bring with me, the nets do the job for me.
      These are just my own opinions, bro. We all have our own styles and looks we’re going for.
      Thanks for the comment!
