    Thanks for your review. I’m a bit new to watches, but I wanted a Swiss ‘dress’ watch with a white dial for good, but not silly money, and this one fits the bill beautifully.
    Thanks for your comments on the movement and I didn’t realise it came with two straps. I ordered from First Class and I made sure they know I heard about it via your channel.
    All the best mate.

      More of these type of dials should be made. Id love a watch like this, just not from tissot. Even though its a very nice watch. Id like it from orient star. A watch is for the time. Too many watches with busy dials an extras. This is more of a vintage design. Even though it is not. Tissot did a good job on this watch. An beautiful crown. This is a perfect everyday watch. ORIENT STAR please make a watch like this!.

      I just found out that WE westerners call Arabic numerals that b/c Arabs introduced us to them, but they are really Hindu-numerals as Arabs took them from India.

    The view of the dial at 1:54 is much better than the pictures they have on their website. It looks very plain there, but close up we see the numerals are slightly raised, there are grooves running around the outer railroad track, and the main part has a shimmer to it. It's a very simple watch, but definitely not plain.

    I noticed imperfections (dimples) on the satin finish at the lugs, like they didn’t finish the polish. Also, please advise on a wrist of 7 1/4”, does the strap hang beyond the buckle when the metallic strap is installed. Any excess would hand down and catch in the absence of a strap loop.

    • @ClickSpringReview
      @ClickSpringReview  5 วันที่ผ่านมา

      The dimples are just my finger prints Richard if there were problems with the finish I'd say , I have the same wrist size I do mention it in the video I can't remember the length of the strap but if it was short I would say so

      @@ClickSpringReviewthe strap I would have liked to see is the braided metal one. I can’t find anyone showing how this strap adjusts and appears installed on the wrist. I assume that the strap length can’t be shortened if it is too long. At least the leather strap has a couple of keepers.

  • @vonkruel
    @vonkruel 3 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

    I'm a fan of simple 3-handers like this. Personally I'd be happier with a manual-wind Sellita, although the ETA 2824 is a good movement (just avoid/minimize hand-winding). Very cool watch!

    • @ClickSpringReview
      @ClickSpringReview  3 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      I always tell people just wind it around 6 full turns and let your wrist do the rest

    • @vonkruel
      @vonkruel 3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@ClickSpringReview yes, I think we're unlikely to run into problems if we follow that rule. It's a good rule for automatics in general, even though some tolerate hand winding better. Aggressive winding when you're already at 60+% reserve isn't too good on the 2824 (or any of its clones to my knowledge).

    • @ClickSpringReview
      @ClickSpringReview  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      That is true, it used to be the crown wheel would strip its teeth but you also reserver wheels start to go, this can be seen when as you wind it the rotor spins. This is down to a lack of lubrication or incorrect lubricant. Lack of means a full service incorrect oil you can get away with an auto module service

    • @vonkruel
      @vonkruel 3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@ClickSpringReview As I've heard it, the ratchet wheel teeth tend to get sheared off under habitual aggressive hand-winding. For helicoptering of the rotor while hand winding, yes you can clean & re-lubricate the reversing wheels, or (as often happens afaik) just buy new reversing wheels that'll come pre-lubricated. To lubricate those wheels without the ideal lubricant, you can mix a few drops of 9010 in a small container of IPA (big enough to contain a reversing wheel), and swish each reversing wheel around in that solution. The IPA will evaporate and you should be left with a thin film of 9010 uniformly applied to the parts (clean it off the outside where it won't help).

      @ClickSpringReview  3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

    I have a lot of watches and most run in the COSC range after being adjusted. Some are COSC rated most not. I know the certification is an added expense but can't see much in it if it makes the watch out of price. I expect a non-quartz watch to keep good time nothing more. I don't understand why the "chronometre" text is so large, it should be significantly smaller than the Tissot logo.

      Its just because they are proud of the fact they have a COSC spec'd watch at this price point

    It's nice but far too big. EDIT: just seen the stated dimensions. So if doesn't sound too big after all. Maybe just looks bigger on your wrist than I personally would be comfortable with for a watch or this style. But each to their own, if you're cool with that, fine.

    I really like it, but for that vintage throw back look, it’s gotta be smaller, that thing is all dial and looks way bigger than the 39mm suggests. 36mm would have just been killer and I have an 8 inch wrist.

    Nice watch for sure. Thing is the whole chronometer thing is overrated. Most well engineered movements can be tuned/regulated to run within the -4/+6 boundary. The cheap NH35 microbrand im currently wearing runs +-2s. Takes a bit of patience but do-able............

    • @ClickSpringReview
      @ClickSpringReview  4 หลายเดือนก่อน +4

      Its true anyone can get it accurate in one position but over 4/5 ?, I see many people with timegrapher reading saying zero but when you ask them for a CU reading or delta figures it all falls apart.
      Best thing for an NH35 is to strip it clean it and oil it correctly using Epilame first. As they are always under oiled and the exit pallet is normally dry Mark

    I absolutely love this watch but there is one thing that keeps me from buying it. It just wears way too big since it’s all dial. This would have been amazing at 36mm.

    I’m having a hard time seeing weather or not there is poor finishing on the case or if you’re doing a macro review on a sweaty grimy watch. I suspect the later. Gross.

      @@ClickSpringReview I don’t mean to offend, honestly. I’m only being plain. I thought I saw some flaws in the brushing but it looked more like sweat, then I saw more of same elsewhere. I’ll try to be more considerate. Great watch and wonderful review otherwise, thanks!

      Ive not heard of 39mm being over sized before plus your forgetting the lug to lug size which is one most important thing . This being only 46mm is pretty compact plus I wouldn't say its a copy as this design is timeless
