I just bought one, and it showed being fully charged in about an hour, and Vrooooom, she fired right up! Beats the heck out of jumper cables! Thanks and Blessings!!!
Travels with Delaney video on 4 n 1 battery pack pack by centech is very informative and helpful. Good clear video and instructions that get right to the point. Thank you for this video.
Don’t understand others with problems- you have to take care of it and fully charge it for 36 hours! Take proper care and it should treat you well. This little pack saved my (and others that happened to need assistance) butt a couple of times in a pinch !
Can you help me? I love mine. This is my third or fourth or maybe 5th one of these in 21 years, they have saved me several issues living rural far from an air station. They die in a few years and I do keep them charged up. My question is how to know when it needs a charge. When i turn it on the lights go from red to yellow to green to red to yellow to green etc. Does that mean its charging? or needs a charge? My previous ones (all HF) just went red when needs a charge and green when charged??? Hope you can help. I haven't charged in 2 months and now all 3 lites blink in running sequence. I don't know if that means ready to use or needs charge or god forbid this one is fried. Probably not fried becuase I just used it to pump up my tires.
The instructions say do NOT connect it to the negative terminal but to ground it on metal elsewhere. Only the positive is to be connected to the battery
I purchased the Cen-Tech Portable Power Pack back in March of 2020. I used the jump box a couple of times with no problem but on October of 2020 I started to top off my motor home spare before installing & before it got up to pressure, it started making a different sound. I stopped the compressor & 5 minutes tried to start again. It would not pump. I took it back to the Seneca NC store. They informed me that they had discontinued carting it & I might could get a replacement at the Hickory NC store that I purchased it at. I opened the unit & found the gear between the motor & compressor missing teeth. The compressor was only used one time. Will try to contact the home office to see if I can get this settled.
It really depends on what you want or need. The 5-1 as a small built in inverter. It is larger and heavier though plus more costly. I already owned a small inverter so that is why I opted for the 4 in 1.
@@TravelswithDelaney thank you for the reply you said something about a inverter with the inverter you have can you run a refrigerator or a laptop without messing up the battery I heard you cannot run Electronics with this device

No idea. I wonder if the internal battery has went bad? We have had ours for a couple of years now and it is still working but my guess they eventually go bad.
Over the years I have had 4 I think or at least 3 that just died after a few years with no battery replacement available. I got a Noco GB 70 2000 amp because I already had a portable air pump and the Noco will also jump up to 6 liter diesel engines and has a USB and 12 volt connections too. I went with the GB70 over the GB40 because the company said it would also run small 12 volt appliances too. Small enough to go behind the rear seat in my Tacoma.
I have a small Schumacher that I kept in my Mom's car. It sure saved me alot of work when her battery went dead. The car was parked in the garage and no way to get to it with my vehicle. Hooked up the Schumacher and it cranked right up. I also have a Diehard with all the bells and whistles! It comes in handy during power outages and sure is handy to top off the air pressure in the tires!
Are you sure about letting it sit a minute before jumping? For car-to-car, you are partially charging the bad battery with the good car's alternator. For a plugged-in jumper you are charging the battery from the wall. For this however, it seems you would be draining the low-capacity powerpack battery (at about 14 or15 volts) into the car battery (at below 9 volts) leaving both too weak to start.
I just put money down on a 2018 tab 400.I would have been watching TH-cam videos and it seems like people have had some issues with the shower leaking into the bed area? is this something I should be concerned about or is there anything else I should be concerned about? I just want to make sure I go into this deal eyes wide open
There was a recall on the shower water lines. I would check with your dealer to see if the trailer has the updated fittings. We had ours changed out last summer.
Perfect timing, Patrick! We both have small lithium battery (Gooloo, I think) car jumpers but I'm the only one that has a small 12v air compressor in my car, which Chris wanted to put in his truck today...NO!! Go get your own! Whew. 😂 Safe & happy travels guys and see you #ondowntheroad! ~💜
I've read all the comments up to this point BEFORE composing mine. I agree with Mongoose about the air compressor. Save it for inflating tires that have LOW pressure. Change a FLAT tire rather than using up the compressors life by running it more than 10 minutes at a time. The air compressor specifically warns against running when it is hot & puts a usage time limit or until it gets HOT. Is the battery that comes with the 4 in 1 unit REPLACEABLE. Personally, I prefer to carry 2 pieces of equipment; 1. For Inflating Tires including semi truck TIRES: Viair 400P-A (draws 28 amps directly from the vehicle battery.) Battery Power Pack: Jump N Carry -JNC950 12 Jump Starter. Yes, The battery is replaceable. With 950 cold cranking amps, it will start anything including a Diesel tractor.
No...I believe it is lead acid. I also think i remember seeing in the instructions that you could change it if it goes bad. Not sure if the cost of a battery is significantly less than a whole new unit.
Again, your timing is impeccable. 🙂 I have this type of equipment on my ‘must have right away’ list. I’m starting to stock my necessities for my RV/TT so I’m ready for the road by Fall. It’s good to know that I can find a reliable one at Harbor Freight. 👍

Schumacher 4 in 1 but it’s about twice the size and I would guess twice as heavy. Still, after 2.5 years charges great. Air compressor is getting tired tho. Thanks for the review. I have been eying these.

Got to get one. Maybe for my birthday! Almost 8k. It’s popping this weekend for sure. We sure had a great time in Tennessee, hope myrtle beach was a fun time too. Those parks are so big. How was that? Is that an annual thing?

Yes! We got one recommended by Jaime from EnigmaticNomadic Channel. It's made by Jackery and hubby has been using it for weeks for his breathing treatment machine (as a test) and it's still at 95%. I also charged my fitbit and cell phone a few times. Pretty awesome but pricier than yours.
What happens if it fails the test? You retire in the Bahamas on the life insurance money? I'm guessing I just fell for an April fools prank. You got me.

Hook it to the negative terminal on the battery is better than a painted metal surface , you get a better connection
Hooking it to the Negative Battery terminal is better than a rusty piece of metal or something that is greasy/dirty or a painted metal surface.
