I like the packaging of Canadian uncirculated coin set. It keeps them all together and the coins look great too. Coins have been produced in sheets for years but you could always contact the mint and ask them why, but I am sure the coins will do well.
I am a big fan of the coins but the sheets I always felt detracted from the overall presentation of the sets. Although I can also see how if collectors are accustomed to that style it's nice to know that you can have a consistent presentation style to your sets! Thanks for watching ☺️
Thanks so much for watching Jamie!! I was also just winding you up about the Osaka coin show, it makes total sense that photography would be restricted! The shop is going very well, I look forward to the day you can come visit!! 🥳🥳
Thanks for the vid Matt. That last one is definitely pushing the boundaries of coin design. Very beautiful. My favourite is the 2nd one though. The Canadian mint definitely has the edge over the Australian mint at the moment. All the best. 🍻
gosh....That is the packaging of the US mint in the 60s/70s///Really not strong! The coins are pretty as they invoke some history! Whoa....The hunter!!! That looks like a totem carving! LOVE that one! You said favorite mint....I am not there yet. That last coin is beautiful ....but that capsule is CRAZY! Hope you are well my friend.
Thanks for dropping in!! I hope all is well! If not the Canadian Mint, who would take out your top spot?? Maybe I need to do a video with my top 5 and you can produce your own with your list?!
quick question I'm new to this noticed the hunter coin says 30 dollars on it for a 2 ounce coin, where a coin from Perth mint says only 2 dollars for a 2 ounce coin. and the currency not being that far apart.
Thats a great question! The face value on numismatic (collectable) coins is nominal which means it is far lower than the actual value of the coin. In this instance $30 just happens to be the figure they landed on, I'm sure there's a deeper reason for it, maybe I'll have to zip over to Canada for a tour and find out!! 🥳 Thanks for watching!
@@ThompsonsCoins Thankyou so much for taking sometime out of your day for a reply and shedding some light on the subject. Well I hope you do find your way over there sometime and if you do remember to think of it would love to hear why. Thanks again all the best to you for your future endeavours.
Beautiful coins. I'm gob smacked by the packaging and presentation of the uncirculated set. Just when I thought there was nothing worse than the RAM's packaging. In regards to the RAM's uncirculated set, they need to continue the design from the outer packaging into the card sheet surrounding their uncirculated coins in the plastic case. Plain white is just as bland as the RCM's plastic bag packaging. As for RAM's proof coin sets.. I've emailed RAM several times regarding the cheap packaging for premium products but only get generic responses.
I totally agree, it feels incomplete when you pull the case out and see it totally blank, although I'm sure there are production limitations based on the massive demand they are trying to keep up with lately! Thanks for watching 🤩
Looks like a 6 pack of condoms …that packaging is cheap and nasty, which is a shame because they produce some of the most nicest coins in the world. Top video Matt👍

Hope the shop is going well 🙆♂️.

Australia for the mint set and that last coin was more art than coin. So pretty.
Edit. Both the allegory and Eagle coins sold.
Thanks for watching!! I totally agree, it's the type of thing that deserves to be proudly displayed rather than stuck away in a collection! 😊

What was the name and price of that coin?
Its OK, Austrian mint does better with the 25 Euro coins. Austrian mint sets are also better.

Top video Matt👍
Sold out of my pick of the coins :(
I didn't expect them to be quite so popular, I think I'll start bringing a few more in for future reference!! 🤩
Traitor 😂 Perth Mint is the best
Look, I'll always have a soft spot for Perth but these coins are unbelievable! 🥳 Thanks for watching Kayne!
