Ahhhh part 2!! Loved these JA vlogs!!! And yessss love how she wrote romance - the relationships were built on something stronger than just physical attraction. I wish some modern authors would take a note or two lol...
@@bethanybringsbooks yes. It's also good. Actually, I think it's even closer to the book. I don't like the acting as much. Particularly Darcy. But it is well done!
@bethanybringsbooks yes, it is good. The end is a bit rushed. It's like they ran out of budget and had to cram a bunch at the end 😂 but yeah, Darcy in particular was a bit flat.
Thank you for sharing your time with us 💙 I share the joy with you about the 1995 BBC version 😍😍. I started Pride and Prejudice !!! Until next time, happy reading 📚📖
You mentioning that Austen showed a non-physical love story with P&P makes me think that it’s why the book starts out making a HUGE deal about Elizabeth being “tolerable but not handsome enough” 🙃 Shows Darcy’s deeper love that grew you are talking about not determinant on looks 💙💙💙
Oh! I’m not sure what I’m going to think about that one. I feel like it is going to be a great movie but I probably won’t like some of the variations from the original story lol.
@@bethanybringsbooks it’s been yearsss since I read P&P and then watched that version. I only want to watch the most accurate now and that’s why I haven’t watched it or any other since. Which one is most accurate- do you know? I like it when they are almost word-for-word like the Mansfield Park one we talked about and ONLY the 2009 Emma one.
I'm so glad you loved it!!! 😍
So fun! Jane Austen is great! I love Sherlock, he is such a beautiful pup! Beautiful library too!
p&P the perfect book -YES! SO true about their love being genuine and not shallow and physical. ❤ I, too, am in my Jane Austen era. I never left it. 😂
😂😂😂 yes!

Yay!! Part ll ! 🎉
I'm so glad you loved Pride and Prejudice! It's amazing. I've seen a lot of adaptations but the 1995 BBC one is the only one that I love.
Have you seen the BBC 1980’s version?

@@CourtneyReads I read a review and it’s basically what you said. That it’s closer to the book but Darcy is harsher lol. I want to watch eventually.

Yes, Austen's romances are so good!!!
Amazing 🤩
Beautiful Lassie doggie
I've never read Austen, but I've seen quite a few of the adaptations. But you've made me very interested in reading Pride & Prejudice.
Oh yay! I hope you read it. It’s so good!
I adore characters in books like Mr. & Mrs. Bennett. Haha. Keeping thangs interesting!
Yes, they are so funny. I also love Mr. Woodhouse in Emma. He reminds of real people I know 😂
@@bethanybringsbooks oh my gosh, Mr. Woodhouse and his hypochondriac and overly cautious self! Bless it. I LOVE him!
your sweet mention of my patriotic book challenge… my heart 💙💙💙 made my week! I must find that book to check it out, btw, it’s beautiful.
I’m hoping to read more! 🇺🇸
@@bethanybringsbooks woot 🇺🇸
Once you finish reading Jane Austen’s major novels, I would recommend reading, “The Murder of Mr. Wickham”. It’s a fun mystery series.
I don’t think I’ve heard of that one. Thanks for the suggestion!

Yes, I love that aspect. I’ve read a handful of fiction that included that and I always enjoy it. I wish there were more!
