Prayers that you will be guided to the right therapist. I'm so sorry that your church didn't let your husband go to church. Church should be a hospital for the sinner to help the sinner heal and to help them come back to Christ. Christ didn't tell sinners to go away he loved them, helped them, forgave them and told them to sin no more. Thanks for sharing your story and the how Jesus has given your peace and healing. You're absolutely right. Jesus is the only one who can make us feel whole. (((HUGS)))

We are the church, people go to a building. Just because people claim they believe in God doesn't mean that they are true followers of Jesus. I lost my husband of 18yrs almost 9yrs ago, the Lord helped me through it with bringing my new husband into my life & I had my 3 sons. Then the most horrible pain a person could ever go through happened 4yrs ago, I lost my oldest son on his 25th birthday because a drunk driver hit my son's car killing him instantly. I e never hated someone so much as I do that woman. I pray everyday for God to help me forgive her. I'm also trying to learn to smile again especially when all I do is cry & miss my sweet son. My youngest son just had my 1st grandchild 9mo ago & my grandson is helping me heal. I am learning to completely trust in Jesus & not in any person. Jesus is coming back to a people that are serving & loving Him completely. I deal with all the pain, anger & depression through my Lord Jesus, staying in the Word, praying & worshipping the Lord. My husband lost his 25yr old son 8mo before I lost my son to suicide so we have been able to help each other through it. But I also still have my 2 sons & now a beautiful grandson. I also have a dear sister in Christ that I can always talk to. Jesus said where 2 or 3 are gathered there He will be in the mist of us, so we don't have to go to a building to worship or serve the Lord. Sadly most "Christians" today are worldly & may never be with Jesus. I pray that you will continue to love & serve Jesus & your dear children.❤🙏

My daughter and I are reading A Christmas Carol as part of a homeschool unit study. It is my first time reading this.

Bethany, thank you for sharing your story with us and being so vulnerable in everything. I am beyond sorry for what happened but I know the Lord is working through you in sharing your story to help others going through these things. You are absolutely right, you made the best decisions you could in those moments. You had a family to take care of and were doing what you could sister. No one has the right to judge those decisions. I am also so grateful you found medicine to help you, I do not judge that at ALL because those are real resources that can help people. I love you sister. Your faith is beyond inspiring to me.

I'm so sorry for all you've gone through. (((HUGS)))I wish the Christian community would see mental health as the same as heart disease, kidney disease, etc. Brains don't always function right just like other parts of the body. It usually doesn't just go away by praying it away. While prayer can certainly help God still expects us to do what we can with the resources we have like seeking professional help. I too have intrusive thought OCD. It's horrible and I too finally felt relief when I finally figured out what it was, before that I thought I was horrible person who couldn't get disturbing thoughts out of my head. Medication has also helped me immensely. I am truly so grateful for the medication. I'd say my OCD is 80-90% better. Thank you for sharing your story and being so open about it. I'm sure you will help many people. ❤ No judgement here!

Great video!! Wuthering Heights is definitely polarizing!! I loooove the atmosphere and gloomy mood, sometimes I'm in the mood for that! Even with how unlikeable the characters are! 😂 Hound of the Baskervilles is sooooo good!! Anne yes!! Agatha Christie is always perfect for fall! I have to reread Rebecca, I liked it the first time I read it but didn't love it... hoping I do when I reread it. Oh my goodness, I'm currently reading Autumn by the Sea and am LOOOVING it!!! I'm not a contemporary reader and not typically into books that feel a Hallmark-y but I'm just adoring it! Love Maggie, love Neil and Sydney, loooove that it's set on a blueberry farm, the writing is great! I really like Rachel Scott McDaniel's writing - I need to read Walking on Hidden Wings!
