To stop the person watching you do the safety check. This button will bring you to the Home Screen and clear the settings cache so if you enter settings again, it won’t go directly to the safety check.
If you are in a situtations trying to do safety check and the person enters the room. You can exit it quickly and they won't know what they were doing. Hope that helps.

How about you start by solving damaged screens after updating to iOS 16. My display of iPhone 13 pro max started showing yellow lines after updating to ios 16. And there is no apple support in my country for it.
