  • Two US Air Force B-2 Stealth Bombers divert to an RAF base in the UK during a Global Power Mission while on deployment in Europe.
The Northrop Grumman B-2 Spirits are with the 509th Bomb Wing at Whiteman Air Force Base in Missouri, and are named the 'Spirit of Alaska' and the 'Spirit of Ohio'. They're currently on deployment to Europe as part of a 'Bomber Task Force (BTF)' and are operating out of Keflavik in Iceland.
The Stealth Bombers had to divert to RAF Fairford for a hot-pit refuel while on return to Iceland due to no availability of tankers. This is a process that the base is used to dealing with as the designated Strategic Bomber base for the US Air Force in Europe, and is always on standby to receive bomber planes.

I honestly don't think B2 bomber pilots have or need NVGs (at least for take offs in friendly env), its IFR flying, same with commercial pilots, commercial pilots just have to keep their lights on till they reach 10000 ft for extra visibility, military aircraft don't have to adhere to that.

Very impressive but it left Northern Colorado confused. Two years ago the Red Arrows were buzzing my town and then flew down and did a flyby of the Airforce Academy before coming back to do a quick show. Thank you! That would actually be so awesome!
Unfortunately, we had a huge issue with TH-cam in 2021 and in 2019, when they were accusing us of re-using content, and there were suspensions. We suspect it may have been due to content shared on our other channel, but we were never given a reason. As a result, we can't share our footage with other channels anymore. Which is a huge shame! But thank you for reaching out!
A few others were there filming, you might find this video on Twitter interesting: twitter.com/rob_j_wade/status/1692264019099337114?t=uMelPTMrBpVeeciMDKA01Kif7GeDqt4gdmI9G1lS5gw&s=19

Presumably this is the tool used to encourage non-Nato members to cooperate. You see one of these and you know your meeting with Nuland did not go down too well.

    Straight outa Knob Noster, Missouri.
One day the B2’s came to Kansas City to celebrate the 100 yrs anniversary of the WWI War Memorial. After they did their duty they flew a little impromptu airshow. Those big birds flitting around the city like angry wasps. I saw one flying north on Universal Ave at two hundred feet. While another one behind it in the distance standing on a wingtip in a spectacular high G turn. That day was amazing. Who would think a plane like that, has that kind of maneuverability. Western Missouri is a great place to live if you love cool planes doing cool stuff.
