Awesome. BUT, two things I would improve on: 1. I would definitely use a stretch cord so that everything automatically keeps pulling tight. Normal paracord could over time stretch a bit and become loose. So top tip: use a 3mm elastic/stretch cord instead. 2. I would do it upside down with the knot at the TOP of the phone, so that I can put it right-side up around my neck.
I like it very much. The instructions are very easy to follow and it is highly functional. Instead of the cord locks, you could use a Fisherman's Knot. I tried a Prusik knot thinking it would be more secure than the Lark's Head Knot but it wasn't. The Fisherman's knot definitely did work.
This is phenomenal!!! Just the thing I was looking for. Used it to secure my phone on a short kayaking trip a couple of days ago so I wouldn’t drop it in the water as that would be environmentally unfriendly… 😉 Seriously, great knot - thanks for sharing!!!🎉🎉
I needed this two months ago when walking a flooded track. Dropped the phone in 2ft muddy water. The phone still works for now but no GPS. I was wondering about possible ways of preventing it happening again. This is much cheaper than a waterproof bag. Thanks.
