I converted my Mobula 6 to a Mob 7 frame, Xing 0802 22000kv motors and a Caddx Ant camera. It's the best performing whoop I've owned so far. I'll bet this this model will perform great as well.
I’d love to see a car setup. I feel like ELRS could take over the surface Rc game pretty easy. I wonder if someone will eventually make a pistol grip controller with an ELRS Tx. Or could an existing one be modded?
Picked up one of these and Im torn keeping it as is or pulling it apart and using the parts for different builds lol. Those motors are just the ticket for something Like a Tks75 or to replace motors on something like the flywoo nano or baby nazgul. 1.5mm motor shaft for the win.
What battery were you flying with outside? 650mah? I'm really interested in this. Was eyeing moblite7 but this looks better having elrs and 400mw. I can fly this out window around my house like my 2"

I'd really like to see the PWM elrs build in a plane, with some help in understanding how to get the sticks (4 channels) and flaps, and flight modes on a 5 channel device. Seems like I use 8-10 channels regularly on drones - leds, beeper, rate profile, turtle mode, etc.
@@AlbertKimTV Seems like planes don't use many channels like drones. I'm setting up my 1st plane now, but these 5 or 6 channel Rx's seem too few when the sticks take 4. But then arming (Thr cut), panic (Safe) all seem to be able to be done with Channel overrides, so far. Still a bit mysterious...
Would the included charger need to have all 4 batteries plugged in or placed a certain order to work correctly? Just remembering that fractal charging board you needed to pin off the unused cells.
Damn this people keep pushing me to jump into elrs, my early version t16 pro and my 2 year old crossfire lite on version god knows what (cus I never even cared to check) work like a champ day in and day out and some how even on newer receivers 0 issues. I would have to open my remote and connect a ttl converter to load the bootloader on the multi protocol 🤦. Not the biggest hurtle but I ask my self why when my stuff just works
As much I love the concept of 1S whoops I came to the conclusion that 2S is at least the best power to weight ratio for me. I just recently rewatched my older edits and compared them to the latest ones and it is pretty obvious that the extra weight plus power makes the whoop perform much better when thrown over obstacles f.e. Or it's just me who lost the ability to fly like I used to before I had to take a break. But I'll still get this Iteration of my favourite whoop, the Mobula7 ✌🏻😁

hello, this is my first drone and on the second day the tail of vtx antenna got cut perhaps by the props. I need your opinion whether to replace the antenna or let it be. I don't know the effect because I still fly in LOS.
great review Albert! I am having problems with mine where it is just going into fail safe and dropping. somehow the reciever is becoming unbind and it is at a close distance say like 5 to 10 feet. Any ideas of what can be going on?

Other than Happy Model wanting to push Elrs, and a high output vtx, im still confused because after all this is a 1s setup. How far are you going to get out there before low voltage warning.
I fly in my house out a window around the brick building maybe to the lake & back in another window. Using 2" whoop with elrs & 500mw vtx (prob really puts out 350mw)

Vbat compensation in Betaflight would even things out. Grab it from a Project Mockingbird tune on their page. Love that there is innovation in motors and 1s and whoops benefit. Thought this one had BlueJay on it already. Definitely going to try one of these. Thanks!
Thanks for review. I have decided to buy this quad but what version is better to buy?? 1 ELRS spi incorporated ( flight controller is 1s and have mpu6000) 2. no rx version and add an ep2 elrs receiver (flight controller is 1s and 2s but gyro is not mpu6000). ep2 is easy to upgrade.

So to add your own elrs receiver and flash which ever elrs version you want and easy to work with what the pros and cons of doing that so if fc goes out the fc can be repair and not need to buy a new one ?or you can upgrade down the line vs spi elrs baked into fc?

I recently got these motors 0802 20k and replaced my older meteor 75 with pre elrs motor were 3.1gram and these 1.9/2 shaved some weight with these motor chopped some 4blade into two blade similar pitch didn’t touch the tune and find it flying pretty good. Any suggestions on the tune I’m at 25 grams dry the elrs external added a gram I suppose. Question :: I have access to the 5amp elrs happymodel fc aio and NOT the latest 12 amp. Is there a big difference between the two in performance ? I ask cause I want to build another whoop with elrs and the new moblite will take time to reach my county

You should make a video Specific for tango 2 and whoops micros I like the way it feels but…The unit ‘which I will call’ that I paid for with my own ₹₹₹ has not even come close to my older Taranis that I usef from 2014. I love th form factor of the tango 2 but the pcb is crap, I’m game to shift arm buttons no hang ups but when each one fails I’d say MY OLD x9d minus (kiddin) is way more reliable in my situation I do not change radios often but TRAPPY needs to find the trap man. I guess I will have to buy a full size BIG BRAND radio simply cause these guys TRAPPED! Heck I got. Brand new rtf Nazgul and failsafes a. Much of times little difference I know it’s the crappy TRAPPY HARDWARE. Tell the dude he needs to fix the buttons

There is no spektrum version. You have to buy the PNP version and add a spektrum receiver on your own. The VTX is a standard analog VTX and you can set the frequency in Betaflight like all other VTXes.

I liked it I ordered it BUT my Jumper T18 Pro V2, I can't get it to talk ExpressLRS! I've searched youtube for someone showing the setup for the INTERNAL 4in1 module and nothing.
The internal 4-in-1 module on the T18 does not have ExpressLRS in it. You need an external module. Check out the www.expresslrs.org website for more information about the protocol.
@@AlbertKimTV Yep, 4in1 with control for 'stuff' I'll never use again! It is nice that I can just disable the internal module and save power. I found a BetaFPV 2.4Ghz 1 Watt and had a nice time getting ELRS 2.2 installed. Getting the radio to talk to the Mobula7, have to relearn how to setup a model in EdgeTX... I did order a BetaFPV Lite Radio 3 ELRS, no tinkering just flying.
@@AlbertKimTV It's missing the front mounting tab. It only has 3 tabs like the old Mobula 6 canopy. I imagine they added the 4th to help mitigate some of the "jello" issues they had with the old ones. Surprised to see they're still throwing foam under the camera.

ELRS has only 4 full-resolution channels, the other channels can be used but don't have fine-grained control.

ELRS also allows you to explorer RF challenging areas like parking garages.

I think VBAT compensation was replaced with something else in Betaflight 4.3.

You think the gnb 1s 450mah 80c/160c Lipo will work good with this drone?? Looking for some extra batts with a little more punch!
It will work. Not sure what other batteries are out there that will be much better.

Both perform almost the same but the Mobula7 has 12A ESCs so there's more head room in case of severe crashes.

You have to go back to an older version of Betaflight.
