We use it when we watch TV at night and it props us up and then when we are ready for bed we just hit the flat button and everything goes back to normal. I would recommend this to anyone.

I couldn't picture how these bases would work with just a regular mattress but it was helpful to see it demonstrated and witness how strong the motor is. Very neat!

We love the split king cause I don't have to sit up if he wants to watch tv and vice versa. So in love! We are in our 20's but said we turned into the most lazy old people when we got these!! 2 twin xl beds together equal a king. They used 2 twin xl bases but a king size mattress. That's why she showed how to sync the bases to work with only 1 remote. If you want different angles then you would just use 2 mattresses.
Looks great, though when in a sitting up position even the short people's feet tend to be right at the end of the bed. The bending of it must push you forward in the few video's I've seen the people are not very tall either in comparison to the furniture in the room in video's on TH-cam. I will look into two twin with two twin mattresses. Anything my spouse and I want to do can be done on one half.

What happens to the mattress when one is up and one is down? Do you have one solid one for a Cal-King? Man I love the concept though! :)
