I wish this review had explored the most important feature of cases: does it make the phone lay down flat on a table? Does it wobble? Ever since camera bumps have existed I have used cases to try and solve the inbuilt design flaws of a phone; it always wobbles when on a surface. Do any of these cases solve that problem? We won't find out here.
Let me add a few things that you missed for the base S24, Samsung makes a "shield case," which I believe is the new version of what they previously called a rugged case. Also, Samsung does make a leather case (kinda) which they call, “vegan leather.”
Thanks, you are literally the only channel that showed the 'Standing case' on video (1:47) even Samsung's own website doesn't sport a video showing the way it folds nor if it's rigid and tight enough to be used to hold the phone via the loop
FYI, on Samsung's shop app, they do have a vegan leather case. That said, I prefer ultra-slim aramid fiber cases, which are grippy, oil resistant, magsafe-compatible, and add barely any bulk to the phone.
So disgusting that Apple and Samsung are charging real leather prices for their fabric and pleather cases. Those margins are the real reason they've moved away from leather, a natural material that is more biodegradable than several other materials these companies use.
It's so sad to see people and companies moving away from Leather...such a wonderful material, strong and durable...not to mention, now animal hides are just being left to rot and give off toxic chemicals into the air because of it.
@@pharaohosam Yup, it's a massive scam and 100x worse for the environment than biodegradable real leather that we have plenty of as a byproduct of the meat industry. But no instead we will buy fossil fuels and make more plastic or use "recycled" plastic which is also a scam.
Can the bumper case with interchangeable backs be used simply as a bumper without adding one of the NFC backs? Back on the Galaxy Note 10 + i used a rhinoshield crashguard bumper and it was genuinely one of the best cases I ever had.
I love the way the viewcase complete the hugs. The camera cut outs versus having a big rectangle. That said samsung really should somehow allow that case to stay closed. The otterbox strada does a better job but it's boring. It also doesn't automatically shut off the screen. I'll probably use my credit to get one view Case. But I don't know that I'll use it all the time.
My only gripe with the s23 ultra official cases are that the holes on the 3x lens are too small for wiping. After a while, the 3x lens get smudges and the only way to wipe them is to take out the case and wipe. Unfortunately, the official cases for s24 ultra have the same problem.
Does anyone know if the official screen protector is thin enough or does it extend over the standing grip case sides? If I drop it screen down, I'd expect the case to absorb the fall, instead of the screen.
@ShadowNetBG Good question. I'm not sure, but I have seen several reviews that said any screen saver will degrade the glare-proof of the S24 display. Having seen that, I'm now wondering if a clear display is any better than a shaded one on the S24. 🤔
They look nice but i tried a few before and no way are they worth the price tag, you can get quality cases for a 3rd of the price, their leather one is the only one worth the money really
Beautiful titanium device and cases are covering it up hiding the colour and the titanium frame .Why don’t they make a nice leather sleeve type case to fit , then take the phone out when you use it.
Am I the only one who thinks the lack of Qi2 magnets makes all of these cases unusable? I know not everyone is on the bandwagon, but it's a real deal breaker when you are used to it.

All the best leather case companies only make iPhone cases not Galaxy. Samsung should’ve realized that and offered one of their own like every other year.

The gadget clear case is insanely annoying. It draws all dust and hair. It is static. So beaware of that.. and it is expensive.
