  • Dwarves are one of the toughest fantasy races. And, in the LOTR universe, they have a language, called Khuzdul. So, let's try something new today - let's learn Dwarvish!
    Remember that I'm not a Khuzdul expert and all this is just for fun. With that said, enjoy the new language!

    One small thing. Mênu is the disrespectful form of "you" (masculine), and Mêni if the disrespectful feminine form, so dont go around saying that. You would want to say Astnu or astni (singular), or astû or astî (plural)

    I thought Khuzdûl and Black speech are broken Languages since Tolkien never completed them. Elvish (Quenya/Sindarin) were the only Languages Tolkien was able to finish. We only have bits and pieces (Small Phrases and Sentences) to try and decipher and piece together,.. it's not enough to learn the whole Language unfortunately (:/)

    • @Artreii
      @Artreii  ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Yeeah, totally, that's why I think I said that many of those phrases are Neo-Khuzdûl (made by fans and so on)
