Great video. No "Hi Guys" nonsense. Straight to the point and very easy to follow. Thanks

Very nice, concise “how to.” A quicker way to get to the button dial settings menu is to hold down the “Disp/Back” button for about three seconds and it will go directly there.

you don't know how thankful I am for your short but complete video. This morning I was trying to set the bbf so I watch few videos, oh my god, why people keep repeating themselves so many time to confuse a simple matter, anyway thanks again, well done!

    Hi,
with my Fuji x-t1 and x-e2 ist was possible to combine the af-on AND af-l function on the af-l button.
So I was able to focus and lock this focuspoint at the same time.
I can‘t find this on my x-t2. Do you have a solution for this?

Thanks for that. Somehow I'd stopped that button having that function, and I've been trying all morning to set it back up again.

I have a question about using the grip in for BBF. I can't figure out how to disengage the AF with half press of shutter button on grip. My body shutter functions just like in your video but the shutter button on my grip isn't responding to these settings. Any ideas about how to trouble shoot this?

hey Chris, great video! I had a question, I currently shoot Nikon, and it feels so ergonomic to the hand. Fujifilm uses much smaller af-on buttons then Nikon. Did you get used to the smaller focusing buttons (except the shutter) or do you find them too small? Thanks!

Is there a zoom button in the xt2? Just like the ones in canon. Thanks

Yes. By default, its set to the back command dial. Press it for Focus Check.

Thanks! Back button focussing does not appear to work during video, nor have I been able to figure out how to force a re-focus during video while in AF mode. AF-C does refocus, but depending on the situation it can be too slow for video. Ideally, it should be possible to stay in M, and, when necessary, force a refocus with as little pressure as possible, so as to avoid vibration while the camera is shooting video. Half pressing the shutter button (as in triggering AF when in AF-S mode) would be ideal. But for some reason, that doesn't seem to work. Anybody got the answer? Am I missing something? Thank you!

In the meantime, I learned that you actually have to be in AF-S for this to work. Not logical, coming from the photography side of things, but workable.
