hello am from India and I have have a w. Richard dbbl gun in my family which was originally bought by my grandfather. it's a pleasure to shoot this amazing gun❤️❤️❤️. It's very smooth and dead accurate
@@headbutt67 First of all thanks for replying, so my question was, can you do a video on lee nfield, like the guns that were used in ww2 and all. Also is the rifle your grandfathers or you bought it because it look quite original and english
Dear Sir, I like you show very much, and real love the vintage English guns. I live in Montana in the US and nice English guns are very expensive. However,I’m excited to say I have a nice Webley and Scott model 700 that I was finally able to buy . Love it so far. I would love to meet you sometime, Lord willing.
Hi Mate. I have a Greener sxs Royal G60 with Baker ejectors, 12 gauge When storing it disassembled I fired it so that the springs are not under tension Now when trying to assemble it the locks do not move, the barrels cannot be reassembled I thought that by reloading it, which I did by pushing the hammers back, the locks would release. But no, it's still stuck Do you know what I should do or what I'm doing wrong? From already thank you very much Darío Queija
I already repaired it, it turns out that the cross bolt of the closure that goes through the eyelet of the pipes was stuck due to rust, through the slot in the action where you can see I was able to grab it with a needle-nose pliers and unblock it with a few hits, I don't know If I am clear? And since I was at the dance, I disassembled all the action, cleaned it thoroughly, oiled it and put it back together, now it works wonders and perfectly adjusted 👍 For the entire operation, it was vitally important to watch the videos of Mr. Jack Rowe at the MidwayUsa you tube channel th-cam.com/video/8EqfxRugPVw/w-d-xo.htmlsi=N1D7xZF8QogiMXTT Thank you very much for your reply
Dear sir, how are you? Nice review. Is w.richards and westley richards similar? Is it possible to have a greener crossbolt instead of doll's head in Westley Richards gun? Is it possible stamped London in the barrel instead of Birmingham in the barrel of Westley Richards shotgun? Thanks.
W. Richards of Liverpool and Preston are a different company to Westley Richards, who were (and are) Birmingham based and also had an outlet in London. Yes, some Westley Richards guns have the London shop's address on the rib.Westley Richards did make some guns with Greener cross bolts instead of a Westley doll's head.

@@M0NKE_yo I'm afraid I don't do military weapons, not really my thing. The gun here was not from my grandfather.

You need Greener's re-cocking tool (which nobody has). Don't do it again! You will need a gunmaker to disassemble the gun and re-set it.

A little off topic but what are those hats called? Beautiful old gun however.
That particular hat is from Bates in Jermyn Street, London. The style is called 'Toni'.
More generically it's a "flat cap".
