I'm actually super glad to see someone else liked this game haha It's weird but I have really fond memories of my time in shroom city It's weirdly charming
I know where the first and third ones comes from, but where dos the second one come from? I feel like I reconise it from somewhere but I do not know where.
You've struck gold with this one dude! Jokes had me spillin' beans left and right, and you did a wonderful job with pacing, comedy/commentary, n' all that that good shit! I really look up to you when it comes to bettering my own video makin' skills, and I was wondering how you tackle the writing and recording process! You've got this way of writing where it feels as if you're just havin' a casual convo with the viewer, AND I LOVE IT. Even with jokes n' shit, the energy you put into it makes it feel like you're just improving them when in reality, you've probably had it written out in advance. I guess I'm just tryna figure out how you write in a way that feels casual and genuine instead of the generic," Hey guys! So this is what I'm feeling and why I like it." and how you can bring such a high-velocity performance with your jokes n' stuff. But yeah, great stuff as always. Love the energy, love the passion for the craft, and love whatcha doin' on here!!!
Im super glad that the Wii Tanks video got recommended to me, it made me want to check out your other videos youve made, like this one. This was super funny and scripted and edited so well! Im adding this to my favorites playlist and subscribing to your channel ASAP! Keep up the fantastic work, i look forward to seeing more content you create :)
Yo that Hippopotamus walking was epic as hell. In all seriousness great video! Mario Party 3 was my favorite and this game takes a lot of music and stuff from it and stuff from other Mario stuff and crams it into a GBA cartridge. Hope to see more from you!
So much nostalgia for me personally. Really makes me wish I had my old DS so I could go back and play this. I loved the single player mode, doing all the quests and playing all the mini games in Free Play. (Though like you, I questioned a lot of the love and gambling themes) Challenge Land was my favorite though, cause it was definitely that. And it was never really saddening or frustrating when I constantly lost, just inspired me to keep practicing, and when I finally won, it was so satisfying
You know what I love about your videos, Silok? You can take any game, make a video on it, and even if it's a game I've never played, I'll still enjoy watching it. Seriously, you could cover Superman 64 and I'll still watch it!
The nostalgia. I remember being so excited when this came out. imo it did not let down. btw the toad voice is perfect I always read out toads messages in his voice as best I can
My childhood was the Wii, DSI XL, and a small touch of 3DS. Only in my teenage years I'm now living in have I fell in love with the 3DS, GBA, and WII U.
I've had a great time and good memories for this game. One of my favorite mini-games is the "handlebar game above lava", where you have to zip across to get to the right side of the screen. Super Fun! You also missed to mention that you can use the .gba to play Mario Party GBA as a board game in real life. Kinda an unique idea.
I was a down to earth 3rd world living boy, trying to get the most out of my shitty computer that could only emulate very basic stuff and do any kind of gaming i could, GBA of course being amongst what I could play and afford to download, and for some miracle i snatched a Mario party advanced rom somewhere, I 100% completed the single player mode, and goddamn, i still remember questlines and lines of dialogue to this day, playing with all different characters and doing all the quest was so satisfying. It's kinda criminal no one talks about this game.
Mario Party Advance is a weird story for me. I remember when I was around nine years old. I became a huge Mario fan, so I spent a lot of time on the Mario Wiki. There I found things about the board part of Mario Party Advance on several characters' pages, so I took to TH-cam to find out how the game was exactly. I ended up binging two LPs of it (probably the only two available back then), by TH-camrs I still remember the names of: Snorting Pig and 24Penguin24. I ended up loving the game and loving the commentary-style videos. That is how I got into LPs, and my favorite TH-camrs today are LPers. I have to thank this game a lot for indirectly shaping my hobbies into what they are today. And now, only having turned adult a few weeks ago, I'm sitting here thinking back at those first LPs. I wonder what those TH-camrs are up to now.
One of the few games I actually bought with my own money. Once I got over it not actually being much like Mario Party, I really enjoyed just the quantity of stuff in the game, no matter how pointless. The gadgets are all pretty novel, so they were fun to collect as a kid. I haven't touched it in forever since I lost the game at some point, but I've been curious to see if anyone had actually played it like me. Wish I had kept the box and the board game board that originally came with it, but oh well.
2:22 My ears heard "Go to Trump City!" I had this game as a kid. Still have the cartridge somewhere. It was odd, but I remember loving the gadgets. I also remember hating the quest where you had to bring Peach because you had to go a loooooong way with her.
I love Bomberman Land Touch 1 & 2, i played in school with my friends thanks to the download play, and when they don't wanted to play the minigames, we played the classic bomberman game that the games had included 😆
I was a big fan of MPA as a single player game and finding out the secrets as a kid learning english was satisfying and I felt really proud when I beat it
This is the video I have waited for all my life. Someone else who actually LIKES Mario Party Advance, and explains why in an entertaining and well-presented package. I need to show this to everyone. Comedian Dolphin needs to come back in the next Mario Party

11:43 I just have to ask though, but are you really trying to call games like Super Mario Bros. 3, Super Mario World and Yoshi's Island 1 hour games? Because that sounds really inaccurate. I mean, using the recorders and Star World, you can beat SMB3 and SMW respectively super fast, but then you're skipping most of the game anyway. I can't imagine anyone beating Yoshi's Island in just a little more than an hour unless maybe if you're an amazing speedrunner I guess. Not to mention the Donkey Kong Country games.
But there is also a Board game in the package of the cartrige, and you can play with 3 others on the table and you can use the boardgame option on the gba for the Dice or the minigames.
