Filmed on March 27th 2020
The last departure of British Airways Flight 92 to London Heathrow, before suspension of the service due to COVID-19. I believe Flight 98 is still operating on a reduced frequency, but BA has largely reduced their operations at Toronto for the coming weeks.
Also a gorgeous aircraft, in some stunning evening lighting

Couldn't agree more. Then again BA's livery worked on their entire fleet ever since it was introduced initially on Concorde.

@@grandmasterbeats9732 Its a pity the conglomerate doesn't live upto the name. BA has become a budget airline with a flashy exterior. As a Brit, I wish it really was British owned, then maybe the Airline would be "The Worlds Favourite Airline"

The A350-1000 might just be my favorite aircraft right now. And it looks beautiful in BA colors.
BA's A350-1000 is one of the best looking airplanes in the world. Their livery fits the A350-1000 so well.
But BA have only ordered 8 of them with 10 more on option. They have ordered the 777x more 18 with 20 more on option.
@@Mike5890Aviation i gotta say the 777-300er fits the BA livery pretty well, the 777x is kinda...awkward looking with the 787 wings, it just doesn't fit the BA livery too well
without the BA logo in the wings it's so different

It is one of the best, yes. But i feel the best livery on the A350-1000s are ones from Singapore airlines.. absolutely mesmerizing
That BA livery looks as modern as ever on the newer fleet. You’d never guess it was a design over 20 years old!
Back to the days when it really was British, but then it was called BOAC. Now its some crap conglomerate called IAG living off the name.
The Spanish conglomerate bought the name "British Airways" and the livery, then went out of their way to down grade a quick as possible

Was planning a trip this year to Los Angeles trying A350 1000 from Heathrow but probably not this year. So hope someday I'll get the chance to fly on any A350

She is a beauty, the sunset really enhanced the BA livery. The A350 is my fav twinjet at the moment, but I expect that to change when the B777X-9 enters service.

@@sergiolaurencio7534 Unfortunately Sergio the B777-9X suffers from the same problem as the A380-there is less demand for huge aircraft to fly really long distances, its been taken over by the Dreamliner and the A350. Able to do both long haul and medium haul using the same aircraft. In the end it all comes down to economics
@@sergiolaurencio7534 The 777 is and has been a very fine aircraft but it looses out to the a350-1000 on economics.
@@sergiolaurencio7534 Sergio, there is a difference. Boeing of old were a very fine company. Built some of the finest Airliners around-747 757 767 and the 777 even the early 737 was a good aircraft. Boeing joined with McDonald a few years ago and things changed, many at the company tried to inform the management that things were wrong-they lost their jobs.It finely came to the fore with the 737-8Max and we all know what happened with that.It was a shame, such a fine company dragged down by a greedy, non caring management obsessed with money and not safety.So as to your statement that I hate Boeing-no that is not true. I have to be convinced that the new management team is not like the one it replaced. The real sad thing here, is that , the fine workforce had to suffer the bad consequences. Lets hope they regain some of the old esteem with 777-9x
@@johnchristmas7522 I don't disagree with that, But Mr. Jones, I am not talking about the past of Boeing, I only telling you I have faith things would get better and that the 777 is great machinery and that the 777x would fly one day, I mean if the end doesn't come early. I got to go, I enjoy this conversation.

@@sergiolaurencio7534 777X looks almost identical to the 777. It’s so generic nothing special. Even the A330neo looks better than the 777X. But that’s my opinion.

They seem to kick out a lot of dark smoke. The recent go around at Heathrow on Big Jet TV really shows that too.
aardmans They wouldn’t normally smoke. On a go-around it’s because the turbine needs to suddenly spoil up to the commanded TOGA setting after having max fuel injected into the combusters. The turbine momentarily lags behind the fuel flow as it speeds up. That’s why you often see jets smoke a bit on go-around for a few seconds.

How come it doesnt fly to Toronto anymore? During this summer season it was only 787-8 and some 787-9 with the occasional 772

It's about time LAX has 1000 series of A350. If BA decides to retire B747-400 from that point soon should replace with A350 1000

Can't the A350-1000 be stretch like how the length of how the 777-300lr or 777-300er
The A350-1000 is the same (or a few mm longer) than the 777-300.
The A350-1000 is almost as long as the 777-300.
The normal a350 only has 4 tires on the back landing gear one side, this one has 6
The -1000 has. 6, the -900 has 4!
