That would mean there are aprox 197 more archived streams which could have a chat replay. The Jerma Chat Replay extension is based on an extension made by someone else called Twitch Chat Replay and based on what the GitHub for that extension says, it looks like it gets the chatlog from overrustle. And I just found old jerma chat logs here overrustlelogs.net/Jerma985%20chatlog. I think this is the log for the day jerma streamed simpsons hit and run overrustlelogs.net/Jerma985%20chatlog/January%202019/2019-01-06. update: I have figured out how to download every Jerma985 chatlog as .txt files and am doing so right now. So I don't think I need to worry about the chatlogs being deleted May 1st anymore. Overrustle is going to remove all chat logs from their site May 1st because of a request from Twitch Legal. I couldn't figure out how to get the TCRParser working because I think it's setup for a specific set of txt files and I don't know how to change which it's set up for but it looks like you need to change animeData.json to change that. There's probably more things you need to change in order to get everything working for changing which chat is being replayed.
@@JermaStreamArchiveWithChat i know python so i might be able to help, although a better idea might be to make/use a tool that can overlay a text stream on a video instead of using an extension, i'll look into it but for now i'll just download the logs (actually based on the overrustle logs i dont know a foolproof way to figure out the exact start time of an old stream to sync the chat with, since the logs include when jerma is offline, there are workarounds of course)
TwitchTracker seems to keep a record of the time each stream starts and ends so that should get you within a minute of when each stream starts if it is correct. twitchtracker.com/jerma985/statistics Also since the extension has a delay thing built into it that should make it easier to narrow down the start time once you have it down to the minute
@@thecarsul i'm working on getting it into one of the google chrome extensions, i'd just wait. the code that exists is old/not very generalizable so i gotta figure out how to parse the streams. if only the Jerma Chat Replay guy was still around. also my original idea of taking the logs and creating a video out of that with OpenCV or something seems too complicated, although it would've been cool since you wouldn't have to screen record/use an extension, and you could use multiprocessing to speed it up. for now i'm just trying to see if i can get some streams in the extension within a week
