Regina Carter Quintet: The Jazz Violin (Performance/Demonstration)

Lead by jazz violinist Regina Carter, the Regina Carter Quintet presents a program that explores non-traditional repertoire, improvisation, and musical styles you would not expect to hear from a jazz ensemble. Performances include "For Someone I Love" by Milt Jackson, "Centro Havana" by Oriente López, and "Mandingo Street" by Richard Bona (recorded in 2003 at C. D. Hylton High School in Woodbridge, VA).
