Al 36 of my TH-cam videos have content id claims on them from ES. My channel was safelisted on Epidemic Sound during the timeframe that I posted the videos. I had to dispute the claims and after 30 days the claims was removed.
yep awful for me too - the recommendations for your channel is absolutely INSANE - I have never and would never listen or download what it recommends for my channel - and yet it recommends nothing remotely like what I have used in the past
Suppose I have uploaded a video with epidemic song when i dont have the subscription and now i have purchased epidemic subacription so can i remove the copyright claim that i got before subscription please tell🙏
i confused that i cant find a sting version of music, a few months ago it easy for us to find it, but now,it gone and not found on directory search engine
I have a question , let's assume I sub to epidemic , I post a video , will I get a claim from YT during checks and it gets whitelisted later or epidemic just makes sure I do not get any copyright claim at all. and if the first proccess happens , do I lose my money from my video since it's demonetized untill it gets cleared up
This is a good question- as I understand it, youtube returns ad revenue from the copyrighted period to creators once the claim is lifted (meaning you dont lose revenue) but I’m not positive that this is the case. Best course of action to be safe is leave the video unlisted for a little bit to work out any monetization kinks before setting the video live. That way you wont risk loss of revenue do to copyright
you loose revenue - end of - this shower continuously abuse the DMCA system for 'administrative ease' - and they claim to be "hassle free" in their adverts. Not to mentions the adverse effect on your video right at the start which cannot be recovered from.
I got a subscription and they gave me a free tral for aweek and everything was ok l used the music in my videos on TH-cam and l had no copyright, but now after paying one month subscription, l have a copy right, l don’t know why
@@sharitahahamd All still ok now? Or you have to complain every time you upload? Does this mean you have to have a subscription for life to monetise your videos?
Can i use epedemic if i edit lots of little property videos for various clients and will they all be cleared or is only cleared on 3 accounts as im often only doing 1 video for lots of various people
This was really helpful. Thank you for answering the questions I saw getting asked A LOT on other creators videos when it came to Epidemic sound. I really want to try the platform but the copyright claims from people who are actually subscribed makes me hesitate. I will try for a few months and see what my experience is like.
Thanks for the awesome video. I will try Epidemic Sound for 2024. I have a question… I want to make personal videos for myself, but once in a while, I get asked to help make client videos. What do I need to do if I use a music for a client one time out of the year?
Good question! For any client videos you will need a commercial subscription, but if you make client videos quite infrequently, you can also go the route of single track licensing with epidemic just for one video and pass the expense directly on to the client. www.epidemicsound.com/blog/single-track-license/
I use it now for about a week and i'm very happy with Epidemic sound! I did use Upbeat but I always felt limited. Of course I had to get used to the other interface. The Mobile App is a big plus point. I can easily prepare myself on the train for the music for the next video.
I use the epidemic music on Facebook and tiktok but TH-cam, I don't trust it. I wish they would have another layer of protection and registration as an Epidemic Sound user and guarantee no copyright claims.
@@JosephMartinI bought the subscription for a year, and uploaded 4 shorts using their music in the background. One of the videos got claimed and shadow banned for the song. I am nervous to upload my first long form video due to this, would you have any insight on this?
I wonder what would happen if I forget to make a payment. Can I still use that song I downloaded a year ago when I made a payment? Thank you for all that info.
You can only use songs as long as you have an active subscription, so if your account expires due to a missed payment, you can no longer use songs you previously downloaded
Hi, so my question - i take a 1 month subscription and download a lot of music.... use these songs on my youtube channel....i dont renew my subscription next month.... is the music on my channel still copyrighted?
If you use post the videos during your 1 month subscription then you won’t get copyrighted if you cancel your subscription after. But if you post a video with an Epidemic Sound music the day after you cancel your subscription, then you will get a strike 😉
Questions 1. will my videos remained monetized - like will I still get paid fully for them or do they take a portion? 2. I read some people are getting copyrighted even though they are subscribed - do you think this is because multiple people are using the same sound? Because I wonder if I adjust it a bit like mix a nature sound over if that’ll solve the problem
1. Yes! Your videos remain fully monetized- epidemic does not take a cut. 2. Multiple people using the same song doesn’t have any effect on false claims. Many people experiencing claims have forgotten to link their channel in Epidemic’s safelist page, which results in a claim landing on the videos. Hope this helps! :)
They already had some issues with small TH-camrs. Some tricky kinds of fraudulent copy right claims even music stealing. Then they do tricks to get revenue from channels that start to get more viewers and some success
@@JosephMartin I reached out to them and they said it would be fine, that they don't have the software to scan for copyright on Patreon, so that's why it's not an option to safelist, but that it's fine to use. Thank you for your reply!
It's really sad because in 2020-2022 the music was getting better, there were dedicated quality artists but eventually these artists leave and never come back to the platform. Artlist has some decent music but the quality is not as good as Epidemic sound and once you use all the songs you like there's nothing left. Lick'd is terrible to navigate but you could potentially find some of the best quality music out there if you are lucky enough to find those golden tracks but then again it's so damn expensive!
Lazy work leads to lazy end results, it’s no wonder that everyone’s videos look and sound the same, they are basically just preset based products. I miss the days before the digital world made everyone so lazy and in a hurry all the time. No one is taking the time to learn anything about being creative, content is like junk food, its terrible for everyone.
Their music sounds very low budget. Most of the composers on there are probably bedroom producers using vst plugins. The best music I can find at the moment is on APM music. They have Hollywood cinema quality music on there and have famous composers, as well as a vast library of music, probably the largest I’ve seen. The only problem is APM music is old school so you have to contact a rep in order to obtain a license for each song you want.

is their website absolutely awful now for you too? It used to be incredible but it now looks like a high schooler built it.....
Looks the same as usual to me. I know they're rolling out some updates soon though, so maybe you're seeing the new site?
Looks the same as it always has to me so far.

You can’t create sound bed with the music?
Do you have to credit the artist in the YT description? Great tutorial video!!!
Nope, no need to credit! Thanks!

I still will give an artist credits so the audience knows the composer.

Can I use their music and publish my video on facebook as well (vs just youtube)?
