Wood Whistle

Making your own Wood Whistle is a simple, fun project. The whistle can be constructed using the dimensions given or by using the paper pattern at the construction article: woodgears.ca/reader/walters/wh...
I used oak, which is fairly porous. A denser, tighter-grained wood might be a better choice.
Make several. Your friends will want one.

I build custom cabinets for a living, been at it for nine years and I'm ALWAYS impressed by your content. I've built your garbage can dust extractor and stationary vacuum dustpan as well as several of your little fun projects, most recently the U-joint. Cool idea for the Nephew's and Niece's!! Their parents will Love Me!! LoL.

You can use just about anything including plastic. A dense, less porous, wood would probably sound better.
