Yeah, it's crazy how better they sound, already liked their voices in Innocence but they are just on another level in this game. I was worried about Lucas VA change, but Kit Connor did a amazing job as well
I played the game first and watched Heartstopper a while after. Loved Lucas in the game, loved Nick in Heartstopper. Never connected the two until I checked out his wiki. Now, when I hear Lucas, I can ONLY hear Nick Nelson, haha.
The fact that he was an innocent child with so many dreams that never came to fruition made his death ten times more tragic... I genuinely cried and mourned his death...
I felt the same way. I stood in front of that tree for like 5 minutes tears welling up in my eyes. I just couldn't do it. Both Amecia and Hugo had fantastic emotional performances. Best game of the year imo.
same as me, I always wonder how amicia, hugo and lucas will look like when they grow up. When I saw the ending, I can't even cry 'cause Hugo's fate is too tragic
I just finished Requiem, and I have to say these kids did such a good job acting. And the writing was so good with the gloomy atmosphere, I hated some of the decisions Amecia made. I wanted to reach out and guide them away from so much trouble. I kept saying damn why is she doing this, why does she keep going. And I know only good acting and writing can make a person feel so many emotions. So kids if you are reading this great job man. Blessing and prayers for your careers.
i've thinking why amicia,lucas and your mother dont did let Hugo live in a ship with a water around him the rats dont would be close him,neither would have how him use the macula power.The count was do dumb also. I'm from Brazilian,so Sorry my english.
I love that they didn't make her a teenager that knows better than the adults. They made her very much a teenager. She's far too young to take on the responsibility of caring for her younger brother and even starts out with a very heavy resentment toward Hugo in the original game. How she tells him their parents "died" was nothing short of cruel and went to show that resentment and immaturity. In this game, she's overcompensating for her resentment. She wasn't strong enough in the last game to prevent bad things from happening. Now she's determined to prove that she is, and it's destroying her.
I swear I really fall in love with Lucas, he looks so much more handsome, and his voice is just 😍😍😍 I was really surprised that Lucas was voiced by Kit Connor ( BIF FAN OF HIM :3 ) Barely realized his voice in the first place ;v;
I swear that in the first game they all actually had French accents. Now they have English ones. It honestly makes me think they are English and not French.
@@4everanarsenalfan Schedule conflict, apparently. Edan Hayhurst was supposedly shooting something else when the cast started work on the second game and wouldn’t be able to find the time.
Is it just me or did everyone sound way less French than they did in the first game? I can hear it especially with Amicia. Just an observation , not a criticism, each and every one of the voice actors killed their role!
I would like to say that Lucy Briggs-Owen brought a warmth to Beatrice that we didn't see in the original game. I just wish this game developed her character more. She felt like a wasted opportunity.
No, she did I watched a q&a where the voice actors of amicia and Sophia answered question together, and it’s the same girl from innocence. It’s just that she was told to changer her accent which is probably why you are confused.
If you really love the game and it's universe, you must to play with french voices, the actor are great and Asobo is a french studio. But i know that the english and american people hate subtitles and prefer to make a remake of a movie instead of watch it in another language and read subtitles. Maybe a form of arrogance like "our language is the universel language, we don't need to make efforts"
Interesting! Isnt that exactly what France and Germany are famous for doing do with series and movies? Dubbing...Because you dont want subtitles and want to keep it in the native language .. Coming from a Sweden here :)
@@slayer47 The French film industry and the French language are much more widespread worldwide than the Swedish film industry and the Swedish language, this is not an attack, just an observation. Cinema was invented by the Lumière brothers and the first films were shot in France. The French-speaking world represents a very important population in Africa and this population will grow in time. For these reasons, and a cultural opposition to the Anglo-Saxon world which comes from very far in our history, we consider that we should not bend to the original version with subtitles for the general public (this explains our low level in English). However, in my city and in many other medium-sized cities in France, theaters always schedule a screening of a foreign film in its original version with subtitles. I even have a cinema that only shows the original version with subtitles near my home. The art of dubbing has been greatly developed (the creator of The Simpsons considers the French dubbing to be the best after the original version), but we also appreciate preserving the particularities of foreign cultures. That's why I saw Django Unchained or Morse, a Finnish film, in the original version. In the United States, I would like to know if in every medium-sized city you can see a foreign movie in subtitled version? I would be very surprised. When I play a game like Kingdom come deliverance, or The Witcher 3, I do it in the language of the developers with subtitles. I find that for A Plague Tale Requiem, to do without French when the action takes place in France and concerns French characters, is to lose part of the atmosphere of the game. After that, everyone can do as they want, but for my JRPGs, I always leave the voices in Japanese with the subtitles. I wouldn't have the idea to play a Yakuza with English voices, it would be a huge waste.
