Zordon Origins - Leader And The Guardian Of Insanely Powerful Power Rangers Has A Tragic Backstory!

- If superhero movies have taught us anything at all, it's that every superhero always has a mentor. Zordon is that mentor for the Power Rangers. He was born on an extraterrestrial planet and has been stuck in a pipe on Earth as a result of a temporal warp that has rendered him unable to exist in physical space. Zordon orders the robot Alpha 5 to locate for him five teens with an attitude, and then what follows is now history. Zordon has a significant presence throughout the first 6 seasons of the Power Rangers TV series, although he doesn't reveal much about himself. He's crucial in ensuring the Rangers have a competitive edge against the bad guys, but he's still a very cryptic character.

I love how Kimberly just quit the Power Rangers to pursue other career goals like it isn't a crucially important job where they're literally preventing the apocalypse every day. And to top it off, she basically left Tommy a Dear John letter.
Everyone has to retire sometime and she made sure to leave a replacement

@@erbicus it depends on your definition of meaningful. Tommy Oliver retired to become a school teacher and ended up mentoring a whole new team. Kimberly ended up working for a SWAT team so maybe she did something similar
She probably got back with Jason. They were basically dating in piolet episode. Jason did become the cool sixth ranger in Zeo and in Turbo they were definitely together.
There's a theory out there that she saw that their ancestors were dating in the episode "Wild West Rangers" and panicked.
There is one more thing you forgot. Zordon’s physical actor wants to do two projects showing Zordon after Power Rangers. One was a silly one of him getting jobs while the other was more serious with Zordon returning by being reconstituted. Now those, especially the second one is something I would love to see.
I always liked the fan film idea of Zordon being a Sage of some sort and kinda also being a proto-white ranger.
I would love to see a power rangers anime that is based off the comics and beginning with Zordon being the bronze guardian. There is so much content that can be used for this rather than using the same formula each episode.

In my personal hc I blended the movie and the og series. Zordon and Rita was a a part of the original power rangers but they failed horribly at some point ( Probably against Ivan Ooze) causing Rita to run off with the green power coin and the dragon dagger. Zordon then ‘banned’ Rita from the power grid but couldn’t do anything about the power coin since Zordon didn’t make them or incase it was recovered at some point. So Ivan wounded Zordon enough to have to be placed into a tube, he raised new sets of rangers, one of which imprisoned Rita and her goons on the moon.
Over the many many years Zordon and Alpha 5 built future rangers equipment, suits, weapons and Zords, scattering them across the galaxy incase earth was to fall.

Its like the TMNT movies. Those are a bit corny, but they hit so many points of nostalgia that it's just fun to watch.
The only thing i really liked about the 2017 movie was the origin of Zordon and Rita as rangers it made the conflict between them more realistic and personal than the show ever implied.
Goldar was horrible in the movie, everything else was really grood.
Zordon should get his own live action film

An error I did notice though: Zordon teleported the rangers outside the commander center, not underground. Zero opens with them digging through the rubble of the command center to find the Zeo Crystal.
Bryan Cranstons part in the power rangers movie was probably some of the easiest money he ever made.

She got the coin by getting Loriyan to get it then killed him he was the first green ranger and she returned to his body like 1,000 years later and took the coin from his body and revived her mother to ask how to fix the coin and Rita’s mother says zordon but Rita tricks her she can’t she needs to fix it now cause her father is after her so her mother says sacrifice a pure heart so Rita search’s for a pure heart and found no one so Rita turned to her mother and sacrificed her and got the coin to work and a part of her mother is now part of the power. The dragon shield was Rita’s mother when Rita sacrifice her mother it became one with the green ranger powers. For those who don’t know Loriyan is the 1st green ranger, Tommy the 2nd green ranger and Matthew Cook as the 3rd green mighty Morphin ranger. Loriyan is the only one that didn’t have the shield cause it was added until after he died

I was truly enjoying that reboot including the new zoids look.
Even could have dealt with Goldars new look. But Rita technically "eating/consuming gold"?

I had no issues with her taking the gold in some other way even by magical force from the teeth and certain prosthetics. But her "Eating" it. Meh

Power Rangers is always kind of bizarre. You just kind of have to deal with it. Sometimes, you can breath in space for no reason, two different living beings can absorb one another & mentally fight over control of the body, people can spontaneously will themselves more power out of nowhere, aliens are capable of literally being millions of years old, literal magic also exists on top of technology so advanced that it just appears to be magic, people can spontaneously create moderately intelligent life that known martial arts & already speaks their language from a lamppost, if they really want to. You just have to go with it.

I was just thinking about restarting my watchthrough of Power rangers last night, what a coincidence.
Unfortunately, the wave of energy caused by Zordon that spread across the entire universe was the only way to destroy the entire EMPIRE OF THE BLACK SPECTER, there was no other alternative. Even if Dark Specter was dead, his EMPIRE would still continue to spread terror, chaos and destruction to the universe. Unfortunately there was no other solution. Only Zordon's sacrifice put a definitive end to the EMPIRE OF THE DARK SPECTER.

In my school vr game zordon was a target to silver for sealing goalius in cryo stasis for a extra 300 years and zordon tried to seal goalius until goalius dies from starvation and dehydration but failed by iok kujan stupidly got his reginlaze way to close to the ice goalius was in and goalius was heading towards mount Snowdonia where zordon is and kill him but goalius change corse by iok kujan and speed up and got stuck in a ravine by iok kujan reginlaze shot goalius in the face with a overloaded shot and goalius was then attacked by the ryusei go III/pre riden go and then attacked by 3 more mobile suits but defeated them all but the barbatos lupas rex defeated goalius but goalius ended up cursing the barbatos lupas rex ( the curse was a savage surside curse that Rita repulser made and taught to goalius the curse turns the cursed person into a mindless killing machine but the rage overloads the brain till complete nuro shutdown killing the cursed person in a heartbeat) and that curse was 50% what got mikazuke argus barbatos lupas rex pilot to die to the regulaze julia

Growing up watching the Japanese version then later being showed the us version was soooo different for me when growing up.
Don't think Rita came up with the green ranger coin by accident.. i think it was hers.. the dagger too.. pretty sure she was the green ranger at one point.. plus it looks more like a generals uniform.. which is more in line with what we know about her.

I hated the Power Rangers series because it was aimed at little kids with the mai characters and the cartoon like monsters and the bad acting but I did like the last Power Rangers movie and I don't mind hearing about a good back story.
The newest power ranger movie was trash I hated it so much,1 the power coins somehow are round crystals,goldar is somehow nothing but an entire monster made of gold really, the putties are giant rock monsters, and I don't remember Rita and Zordon being former power rangers,then there's no Morphers for the rangers they just stand around a globe an turn into the power rangers ,the movie seems like one that was made by someone who isn't a power ranger fan .
