If you name characters make sure you have the right pictures; Minh instead of her mother Trini, Katherine instead of Kimberly, and Rocky instead of Jason. As for Rita returning again Dino Fury did bring back Lord Zedd, so why not.

It's not Alpha 5 that gets taken over by Rita as he hasn't been seen since Power Rangers Turbo. It's mentioned in the show that it's Alpha 8 that gets taken by Rita to become her new body. Because of that, Alpha 8 is replaced by Alpha 9 and Alpha 9 is a bit sad at the demise of his predecessor.

After watching the whole special length of Mighty Morphin Power Rangers Once & Always we know that's not the real Rita Repulsa as she turn good in the final episode of Power Rangers In Space and became Mystic Mother in Power Rangers Mystic Force. The one we saw is the evil particles of Rita Repulsa from Zordon's Z waves which took over Alpha 8's body and became a robotic instead of her old self.
One small mistake. The Alpha in "Once & Always" is not Alpha-5. In the Subtitles, it is referred to as Alpha-8, which is why the current iteration is called Alpha-9.

Rita is over 10000 years and her body could have died many many times and her skull has dark energy left
-Minh disobeys Zack & Billy's orders to stay out of the Rita crisis and she fails to morph while trying to defeat a squad of Putties at the Juice Bar -Zack & Rocky arrive to save her and Zac gives her a speech about knowing the importance of justice vs. revenge along with what it means to be a hero rather than just a Power Ranger -When the rangers leave to go to Rita's palace, she once again swipes the morpher to confront Rita's robo minions only to act surprised when the morpher *gasp* doesn't work! Geez...
I think the idea was that in her mind she was doing what she was doing finally for the right reasons at least in her head but in her heart she was still vengeful.
First off, that wasn't the original Alpha 5. They literally called the newer one in the Command Center, Alpha 9. Which means the one possessed by Rita was Alpha 8. The credits prove this. And Minh wasn't being trained to take over her mother's place as the Yellow Ranger. There isn't any explanation as to why she knew martial arts but considering Robo Rita called her her Mantis form, calling it Trini's favorite, it's safe ti assume Trini was teaching her. As for Minh trying to Morph, she literally stole the morphed and was trying to use ut without the powers being given to her directly. It wasn't until she protected Billy in Rita's palace, she was gifted the power by the essence of her mother from within the morpher itself. Honestly, the special has only been out a couple days. It's not hard to get these details correct

Alpha 3 = Was destroy by King Lexus for betraying Dex the Masked Rider. Alpha 4 = Was destroy by Count Dregon back in Edenoi sometime before MMPR Season 1. Alpha 5 = Probably was captured by the United Alliance of Evil and destroy by Dark Specter. Alpha 6 = Return from Mirinoi with Bulk and stay in Angel Grove with Adam, also help the Operation Overdrive Rangers fix the morphin grid. Alpha 7 = Created by Tommy and help the other red rangers get to the moon to stopped the Machine Empire and Serpenterra. Alpha 8 = Created by Billy but was took over by Rita Repulsa's evil energy. Alpha 9 = Created by Billy as a replacement for Alpha 8. So far only Alpha 6, Alpha 7, and Alpha 9 are still active.

Rita was on go! She faced 9 of the Mighty Morphin Rangers in direct combat. You would think she would just want revenge on the MMPR and Zeo teams by no…she was bent on capturing and defeating EVERY ranger she could. This was a perfect way to make the og adversary look like a legit threat.
Robotic Rita was bad-ass and absolutelly deadlier than her younger self form. But personally I think this robotic form of her wasn't that necessary, instead of that, I would had liked to see her return as Mistress Vile in witch form the Boom Comics brought her back. This deadlier style of Rita still could had been keped, but Mistress Vile was in Comics even more powerful and she even took down Lord Zedd. The rangers got a lot more sirious trouble in fighting her. And even Zordon can't help the rangers much, or as usual like he did in the TV series of MMPR. So if you ask me, Once & Always was pritty good there were moments they were really tragic but epic. And there were moments when I thought wtf....but in the end, I got a bit dissapointed how easily the rangers destroyed Robo Rita. But I hope Lord Zedd manages to bring back the real Rita in humanized form, (like she always was) if necessary with an whole new actress to play her role.

Alpha 7 was built in the Operation Overdrive special “Once a Ranger,” and then we have Alphas 8 & 9 in “Once and Always.” The fate of the Alpha 5 many OG fans grew up with is still unknown.
Other Alpha models that are known are Alpha 4 that was deactivated in the Command Center basement & destroyed with said center. Alpha 1 is in the comics, and was more combat-focused to be in the front lines helping Zordon wage war against evil. He suffers a mental breakdown & becomes an extremist using excessive force for his ideals of peace and prosperity, basically becoming Ultron-like in behavior. As far as I know, there is no information on Alphas 2 & 3…but they had to have existed at some point. Oh, and for those who like Hyperforce, there’s Alpha 55 👍

Actually it is the 'real' Rita in a way. Robo-Rita is the evil that was purged from her soul by Zordon's energy wave. That evil gained a physical form by taking over Alpha-8.

I was disappointed that this movie did not preserve Hasin Frank's legacy in this movie, by making his daughter the new green ranger like she admitted to wanting to play to honor her father.
In the finale of Power Rangers in Space Zordon's energy wave purified Rita's soul. The evil was purged from her and scattered across space. While trying to revive Zordon Billy inadvertently caused that scattered evil to coalesce. It then took over Alpha 8 (not Alpha 5).
I actually liked this special but however I say that I have like 3 main issues with this quote on quote film 1. Wish it was longer then 55 min just saying 2. Really wish that they got the actors who played green ranger and pink ranger back for this event seriously wish they did 3. As soon as the end used CGI for the giant monster fight, I hated it I wished they just used practical suits and props for that battle because the cgi looked only slightly mildly better then the 1995 film and that CGI was abysmal
Jason David Frank who play the green ranger say he retired from Power Rangers so he didn't return. Amy Jo Johnson also can't come due to her not able to afford the trip outside the USA at the time.
Zedd returned in Dino Fury and is going to be a villain in Cosmic Fury, so we shouldn't count out another return by Rita. I'm sure he would like to get his wife back.
The Zedd from Dino Fury was ressurected from a point in time when he was “his most evil” meaning Pre MMPR so he was not romantically involved with Rita at that point, so there’s no reason for him to seek her out,

4 seasons? There was three plus the Alien Rangers miniseries but that was part of the 3rd season. Zeo was the franchise's 4th season.

Rita died during mystic force. She gave her life to save the rangers after becoming good and helping repair the morphing grid.

U got the cast lineup wrong. The original six fight rita in the first battle when billy summons rita. The remaining original five fight at the one year anniversary.

In the finale of Power Rangers in Space Zordon's energy wave purified Rita's soul. The evil was purged from her and scattered across space. While trying to revive Zordon Billy inadvertently caused that scattered evil to coalesce. It then took over Alpha 8 (not Alpha 5).

I actually liked this special but however I say that I have like 3 main issues with this quote on quote film
1. Wish it was longer then 55 min just saying
2. Really wish that they got the actors who played green ranger and pink ranger back for this event seriously wish they did
3. As soon as the end used CGI for the giant monster fight, I hated it I wished they just used practical suits and props for that battle because the cgi looked only slightly mildly better then the 1995 film and that CGI was abysmal

Jason David Frank who play the green ranger say he retired from Power Rangers so he didn't return. Amy Jo Johnson also can't come due to her not able to afford the trip outside the USA at the time.

Zedd returned in Dino Fury and is going to be a villain in Cosmic Fury, so we shouldn't count out another return by Rita. I'm sure he would like to get his wife back.
The Zedd from Dino Fury was ressurected from a point in time when he was “his most evil” meaning Pre MMPR so he was not romantically involved with Rita at that point, so there’s no reason for him to seek her out,

Considering how smart he is he probably found a way to restore the MMPR powers at some point after In Space since the original coins were severely damaged.
